Ukraine needs weapons right now, not investment and trade.

I recently read a thing on Ukrainian telegram. A year ago, Japan sent engineering equipment (bulldozers, excavators) to Ukraine. And these bulldozers stand the whole year in the open air (snow, rain, hail) without shelter. No one has ever used it.

Money is better. Madame Zel and other wives for a decent shopping in Paris. You have filled not all pockets of the ukrainian officials yet.

The gall to not even wait until the war is over is repulsive. Vultures waiting to feast off a country broken by war is disgusting.

Are you under the impression that disgusting russia has not left the country in such a state that it needs to rebuild some things now to survive?

Once the war ends, this office will be closed for not being able to fend off corruption, nothing goes on in Ukraine without paying off someone, and that is a fact.

Just how bad is the corruption? Their are reports of front line troops having to pay bribes to get resupplied with ammunition!

Let’s get this right!

Japan sends aid money to the Ukraine and this office will help Japanese companies collect on the said aid money.

Great idea!

Reeks of corruption...

By "trade" they mean the dispersal of cash and resources from Japan when the bullets stop flying. Some corrupt Ukrainians are going to make a fortune.

Japan will continue to contribute to the sustainable development of Ukraine

Good on Japan, It would be nice to think that Japanese entities involved could get money from the Russian Federation and its fellow authoritarian states to pay for the damage caused by Putin's invasion. With all the money Kleptocrat Putin has skimmed from the sales of Russia's natural resources, he personally should be billed. Putin and the Russian Federation need to be held accounatable for their brutal invasion and their war continues putting the region and world at risk

Support, or take advantage of? Good positioning for contracts when the rebuilding of Ukraine begins.

Good for Japan, good for sovereign Ukraine.

Ramping up trade opportunities between Ukraine and Japan will be a big boost for Ukraine at this time.
