Truth is stranger than fiction it's often said. Hard to ever get closure with such utter madness, rather seek to forgive so the emotions do not damage your quality of life.

Rest in Peace to the 27 victims of these evil terrorists, who killed without feeling nor remorse over many years. Hundreds of victims are still "living" with permanent disabilities rendering them unable to work or function normally in society. Thousands more lives were destroyed.

The scum in the rebranded cults should be monitored 24/7 for the rest of their lives. Communities they live in have a right to know who they are, as do all the workplaces they happen to work in.

But 1,600 former members still operate under renamed groups and have ignored an order to pay damages to survivors and bereaved families.

Imprison them all. no amount of damages will ever bring be closure, however to ignore an order must be punished harshly, and seen to be.

As for the "renamed"groups, membership should be a criminal offence.

The police raid on Aum's headquarters did not take place two days after the subway gassing. It took place months later. I remember watching the surreal scene on live TV as the riot squad marched behind a cage with a canary. The death toll on the subway could have been much worse if the Aum terrrorists hadn't thankfully made some errors in the sarin deployment. There was a later attempt at Shinjuku, largely forgotten, that was foiled by a diligent cleaning woman who located the device in a restroom. She deserved recognition that was never given. Another forgotten part of this sad history is the poor man, Yoshiyuki Kono, who lived near the Matsumoto incident and was falsely accused by the media for being responsible. The mass media made his life hell.

Still seeking justice? Really? If one of my family was murdered by these idiots and was still walking the streets..

I would probably be in jail but feeling no remorse.

As far as I know, those responsible have been hanged. It is just their brainwashed, cultist still waving the Aum flag.

"X-Day" was the name chosen by the media for the police raid on No. 6 Satian and the other buildings within the Aum Shinrikyo compound...Asahara himself was hiding inside a false ceiling in a compartment under the floor; a policeman looked upwards and thought: 'That looks strange, what's that?'

I can well remember watching the scene unfold on live television as well...thanks to JT poster 'Xamo' for bringing back those memories!

If a Court ordered compensation and these orders ignored , in most countries that would be "contempt of Court "

Enforce the Court order.

Plus, high intelligence individuals following this lunatic.

Article speaks of doctors, lawyers, chemists...Unbelievable.
