The Matsumoto branch of the Nagano Public Prosecutors Office has indicted a 34-year-old woman over the murder of her 69-year-old father after she was found mentally fit to stand trial.
Prosecutors indicted Tamami Nagai on a charge of killing her father Akira, with whom she lived, at their home in Matsumoto City, Sankei Shimbun reported.
According to the indictment, Nagai stabbed her father multiple times in the chest and back at around 4:30 p.m. on June 26, killing him. She gave no motive after her arrest.
Prosecutors decided to have Nagai undergo a psychiatric evaluation from July 9 to September 12 to determine if she could be held criminally responsible.
Police said neighbors told them that Nagai and her father did not get along well on a daily basis.

Sheesh.... what is it, ten family murders a day now? or just attempted? Safety Japan, I guess.

Why is her employment status omitted? If this were son on father patricide, you can be sure the son's unemployed status would be duly reported..

Data: "Again? I'm fairly sure she was indicted for the first time, Steve."
I think the "again" part is as I pointed out, this happens far too often here.
