Disappeared and then able to get back? Most of victims they just won't get back. Those Japanese were lucky.

Just few days ago JT reported that most scammers calls coming into Japan were from abroad, well her is the answer.
Only a Japanese can scam another Japanese for just Two Main reasons called Trust and Communication, Japanese can't not be scammed by a non Japanese, simple as that.
These criminal are drafted in Japan then sent abroad to work in call centers set up by the very same people, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, and China are safe havens since they can set up these cost with very little $$ and simple regulations.

Arrested, as in faulted, for scamming, even though they were kidnapped by a criminal gang and made an offer they couldn’t refuse?
I don’t follow.
