Police in Ome City, Tokyo, have arrested a 76-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder after he stabbed a man in his 30s at a pachinko parlor.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 5 p.m. Sunday, Sankei Shimbun reported. The victim was stabbed in the left side of his abdomen. Police said he suffered a serious wound but he was able to talk when taken to the hospital.
Police said that witnesses told them the suspect, Tomokazu Tsuchida, had been arguing with the victim inside the parlor just before the incident.
Police quoted Tsuchida as saying, "He pushed me away from a machine. I lost my temper and stabbed him with a knife.”

While I certainly don't condone any violent crime, I find it hard to feel sympathy for anyone in his 30s playing pachinko at 5 pm. Jeez get a life.
