Another day another article on climate change, lol. Hope all the attendees used the greenest options to attend so as not to seem hypocritical to us all.

This meeting in Baku has little to do with climate, it is about politics and money.
Case in point, the representative from Gaza: "Mohammed Ursof, a climate activist from Gaza, called for the world to “get power back to the Indigenous, power back to the people.”
In the real world, handing control over Gaza back to Hamas does nothing for the environment. Mohammed conveniently does not mention that it is Israel that has been re-foresting its country and installing infrastructure to use sunlight for water heating. Nothing remotely comparable in Gaza under Hamas rule.

You understand that this section is "environment" right? and climate change is by much the most important current environmental crisis.
The measures against climate change are what depend on politics and money, contrary to what antiscientific groups think the crisis is not solved by being in denial of it or pretending magical thinking can make it disappear, it requires urgent global action that have immediate costs (just not as much as not taking those actions).
Which is irrelevant, the claim is about giving control of resources to indigenous people because as a general rule this leads to a more responsible and sustainable use.

Climate change is a massive irrelevance. Yes, it's changing; it's always been changing. Are we anything to do with it? Possibly, but our impact is too small to calculate. In 200 years' time, our descendants will be astonished at the hysteria whipped up by a few madcap doom-mongers in the 20th century.

The best scientists on the field say you are wrong, and can show the evidence to prove it.
Pretending "climate change" in the context of the current crisis is the same as climate changing gradually for natural causes evidence a complete lack of actual arguments to refute the importance it has.

Can you tell us who the "best scientists in the field" are and who decided that they are "the best"? Thanks.
