I did not read any healthy food being available at USA gas stations.

It has to be good quality foods for people to make time to have food at USA gas stations.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken is different. It started with a trucker who could not grab anything decent to eat at USA gas stations while he was doing his trucking runs.

He used to make good fried chicken at home and decided to take the idea to gas stations. The gas stations took up on his offerings and the Krispy Krunchy Chicken is only sold at gas stations in the USA and it is the best fried chicken to be had.

The words "convenience store" and "good food" are not usually used in the same sentence.

Every time I travel between Japan and the US, I'm always disappointed at how poor the quality of food at US conbinis are.

The only non packaged snack foods are sandwiches with wet soggy bread or a banana next to boiled eggs. Everything else is just straight junk food.

I'd love to see convenience stores in 'merica LEARN from conbinis from other countries, esp. Japan.

At least a banana and a boiled egg are real food.

Zaphod

At least a banana and a boiled egg are real food.

Yeah they are but when they're the only "real food" choices available, it doesn't make for a very satisfying experience nor is it competitive business-wise.
