See what happened in the past, voters has more consideration that checking celebrity endorsement.

The leftist establishment team has Hollywood celebrities, while the Trump train has the likes of Tulsi Gabbard, RFK, and Elon Musk. I know which endorsements I trust more.
virusrex
So celebrities that would bring the votes of the people that would vote this way no matter what?
Exactly, this part could have come from Democratic propaganda without changing anything.
TaiwanIsNotChina
Let me guess: the nutter endorsements? Also why would we care what a Serb trusts in the US election?
Zaphod
Sadly, it matters to some degree. Pretty safe to assume that there is a small low-information crowd that takes their political opinion from the likes of Eminem, Lizzo or Taylor Smith.
virusrex
It could be worse, simple minded people falling for a fake reality show celebrity with serious cognitive deficit or a discredited politician with worms in his brain.
dagon
You got it backwards. Trump loves his low info MAGA mob.

LOL
Just to take the first, Tulsi Gabbard is the most transparent grifter I’ve seen after Trump himself.
Watch those damascene conversions. Tucker Carlson, Russell Brand…
RFK is crackpot.
Musk wants something. He’s a businessman. He’s transactional.
The alternative media types fall in love very easily.
Jimizo
Trump and RFK is some duo.
You can see why the conspiracy theorists like it.
Jimizo
They could win.
Be a bit careful though. Your podcasters told you ridiculous nonsense about the Reform UK expected vote and the Red Tsunami in the last US mid terms.
They might get something right. Broken clock and all that.
Raw Beer
Nobody would attend Harris rallies if they didn't have celebrities.
theFu
I don't care what any celebrity thinks about politics. They don't live in the real world.
Bad Haircut
The character of Democrat celebrities is pretty poor. A good example is Beyonce, who lured fans to a stadium the other day with the implied offer of a musical performance at the Harris rally, only to disappoint them with a short speech by her and no singing, the usual nonsense from Harris, and a whole lot of wasted time. Basically, a snapshot of what a Harris presidency would be like.
wallace
It does not matter much. By now, most voters have already decided which way they will vote. Celebs bring a little distraction to a very boring election campaign by both sides. I'm looking forward to when it's finally all over.
wallace
When it comes down to it the election outcome it will be decided by a small number of votes in a few states. Is that the best system?
TaiwanIsNotChina
MAGAs will cling to anything that allows them to steal the election with their you-know-what hands.
itsonlyrocknroll
There is nothing more politically shallow hollow, more mentally challenged than the "celebrity endorsement"
"Wheeled out" to read off a prepared script, to shovel sanctimoniously layer upon layer of fakery, laced with oodles of condescension, reach for the sick bag,
virusrex
So which celebrity was present at the Ellipse rally? can find any celebrity appearing there.
Jimizo
Surely an actual celeb running for office is worse?
itsonlyrocknroll
I guess so Jimizo. Beyonce reading off a autocue, I would have enjoyed an acapella reedition,
Hunk Hogan?
Never in front of children, or nervous wildlife.

Harris uses the Entertainment Elite to gain votes.
Trump uses steel workers and sports figures, CEO's and those in my party to gain votes.
Democrats want to make a point and stay on point how clean and righteous they are for all.
Non sense.
Now, who will resonate more with the average middle class American voter?
Who would that be?
Harris spent $174 million just in August, Trump $61 million.
Its dead even. That lack of Trump money, is the middle class speaking!
Do you think Beyonce cares for the middle class?
Do you know how much JZ and Beyonce are worth? "The Carters combined net worth? 1 Billion and some change.
This is who is endorsing Harris.
Gimme my check, put some respek on my check

Promotion of drug use. Greed. Selfishness, Power. Material.
While the back bone of America suffers and our seniors. The middle class. The iron worker. The mail man. The lower enlisted in all branches. The carpenter, roofer, and on and on go hungry providing for one's family.
Its crazy.
Jimizo
Watching him rip his shirt off at a rally is a bit cringe.
Good that he can get gigs though.

How? Mail-in voting, drop boxes, harvesting votes are all Democrat ideas that they pushed to get through and here we are.
wallace
bass4funk
You used mail-in voting for your ballot.

“ Democrats are leaning on celebrity star power. Will it matter? “—
Well, it shouldn’t;
…
Most people vote for a combination of factors, but there are millions of ignorant people who vote Democrat because that’s what Hollywood and the MSM have told them to do their entire lives—
…
and there are those who vote for a candidate exclusively because that candidate was endorsed by a celebrity they like (these people shouldn’t be able to vote; minors can’t, right?—same principle).

Tulsi Gabbard could very well become the first female president of the US in eight, twelve years, that’s how good she is, and people don’t realize her potential,
Bobby is an extremely intelligent man with his heart in the right place who wants to save the lives of millions of children and MAHA—Make America Healthy Again,
and Elon Musk is one of the smartest and most successful people in the world, whose companies are having a positive impact on humanity and shaping our future;
and then we have JD Vance, Vivek and others…—the people Trump has surrounded himself with are one of the reasons he will be re–elected next week.

Yes, but I’m a registered voter in my state, had to sign up and had to verify myself, so in order to send an absentee ballot I need to sign in with a code, I don’t have that, I can’t get a ballot and vote.
wallace
bass4funk
You used mail-in voting for your ballot.
The same applies to others who use mail-in ballots.
bass4funk
Depends, provided if you can prove who you say you are, in my state you can’t do that, you can’t vote, you can’t even log in. So our state takes voter ID very seriously as they should, I’m glad Youngkin won his case to delete all those self-identified noncitizens from the ballots, as it should, now once they become legal verifiable citizens, please vote. We welcome you.

Its sad that people have entertainers and politicians influence the way they vote. The politicians and the entertainers are so far removed from the people who they influence and their lifestyles are so different. The people who believe in these entertainers have no way of having direct lines of connections to contact these people if needed. On the other hand the entertainers and politicians have lines of communication. People should wake up the electoral vote is packaged and sold, where my vote REALLY counts is at the local level where I know my vote can select the people who can make direct changes in the community where I live for example city council members, city managers, judges etc. Its funny these votes are based on popular vote, where as your vote that is packaged and sold on the national level for representatives and presidents really means nothing it depends on which state will give those electoral votes to a democrat or republican candidate. Whoever makes the most promises and tells the most convincing lies win. Anyone voting for a candidate because their favorite star says vote for that candidate is plain stupid. I vote where I know my vote is going to make a difference in the community and state in which I live.
theFu
My state is on of those who can sway the election. Every day, we are bombarded with email, TV ads, and snail-mail fliers for and against every candidate. At this point, they are all too late and just clogging the mail system.
I couldn't tell anyone which celebrities are for and against each candidate. It doesn't matter at all.
Would you ask an expert plumber for their stance on computer security? No, you wouldn't. This isn't any different. Sure, the "plumber" is impacted by computer security, so they have their own ideas, based on limited skill in the area. Same for celebrities and politics.

Hmm, let’s see…—the economy, abortion, immigration, healthcare, Government spending, housing, homelessness, welfare, education, policing and crime, taxation, Election integrity and voter fraud, foreign policy and defense, drug use and deaths and transportation and infrastructure
are extremely important issues that people should pay attention to before even thinking about voting for a certain candidate—imagine ignoring all of this and voting for a certain candidate just because your favorite celebrities support that candidate for whatever reason—a lot of ignorance and apathy out there.
TaiwanIsNotChina
If people decided on such issues, it wouldn't be this close at this point. I've heard people even vote for the candidate that appears first on the ballot.
theFu
Almost 50% of registered voters have already voted in my state using early and absentee voting.
What is it that the GOP says? Vote early, vote often?
theFu
Those would typically be the list of issues I'd consider before voting. This election, I'm down to basically a single issue about fitness for office. In short, I don't want a con-man in office.
You left off health care costs.
Economy is up - regardless of what 1 person claims. https://www.npr.org/2024/10/30/nx-s1-5165466/economy-gdp-inflation-consumer-spending-sentiment
Election integrity and voter fraud is an issue in the minds of conspiracy theorists only. The only fraud that was of any significance came from GOP zealots. Less than 250 election fraud cases were found in the last election even with all the bogus claims of many thousands of illegal votes being cast. Claims are easy. Proof was never provided and when research was performed to find proof, none was found. https://www.brookings.edu/articles/how-widespread-is-election-fraud-in-the-united-states-not-very/
Abortion - the right to choose should be between the woman, her doctor, and her god. Definitely not the govt. Lots of women choose to have a child. Lots of women aren't ready to have a child. Who are we to force someone into parenthood with a forced pregnancy?
Crime is way down according to the FBI, against, regardless of what 1 person claims. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/04/24/what-the-data-says-about-crime-in-the-us/sr_24-04-23_crime_3/
Immigration - there's a belief that being anti-illegal immigration means people are also anti-immigration. That is wrong. People who follow the rules to immigrate to the USA are welcome by nearly all Americans. Now, the xenophobic people, cough, Trump, making baseless claims about legal immigrants is a form of illegal harassment and there should be a law preventing it - actually, there is. National origin is a protected group in the Civil Rights laws, which is why that group is suing Trump.
There's 1 candidate making so many baseless claims - let's just call them - lies - that he isn't fit for office. He has a mental issue obviously, since he can't tell the difference between truth and lies. What's worse, he wants to "cancel" lots of important ways our govt works for the overall good. He has no clue how making a law works and he routinely violated not just US laws, but the US Constitution AND he convinced others to violate both as well. It is isn't clear, I'm writing about a convicted felon who will soon be convicted of attempted voter fraud in multiple states.
Trump has been party to over 4000 legal cases. He sues people and people sue him. Why would anyone want a president who can't work with others ... you know ... like Congress?
