Who does Trump see as 'enemies from within'?

He sees half the country as enemies from within. Fortunately I can pretend to be a MAGA at the drop of a hat, which reminds me I should probably get one.

The 'fascists' who Trump is said to admire were well known for first coming after the Marxists before moving onto other marginalized groups.
Trump is just going with the red-baiting shtick he learned from Roy Cohn.

The danger is that SCOTUS has granted the President immunity for "official acts". If Jupiter puts enough loyalists in the right places, in the Justice Department, DoD and the Federal Prisons, he could very well get away with arresting and imprisoning his opponents. Sure the courts would likely rule the arrests illegal but that would not matter if his loyalists were willing to openly defy the courts and Jupiter was handing out Presidential pardons to all and sundry who were loyal to him. He could conceivably imprison judges who crossed him and get away with it. Ponder that for a while. It is not an idle threat and it would be possible for him to accomplish if, and that is the big if, he can install enough people in the right places willing to do his bidding nothwithstanding any laws or Constitutional restraints knowing Jupiter will pardon them.
Yes conceivably Congress could impeach him but we all know that is basically impossible without a super majority in the Senate willing to vote to convict while worried that if they did and failed they too could end up in Guantanamo or a Federal Supermax for getting sideways with Jupiter.

Paranoia is very often an early consequence of dementia. Of course, it fits in with his narcissism too, meaning that he can never be held responsible for anything he does: at the very least there are crafty enemies within trying to undermine whatever he does. This paranoid assertion inoculates the people's minds to his later failures before he makes them.
Data
Anyone who doesn't express outright fealty to him - nothing else matters.
You can see it clearly from the amazing flip-flops he does when someone changes their tune and bows down to him.
Ted Cruz called him a "sniveling coward" - now grovels at his feet. Lindsey Graham called him a "race baiting religious bigot" - now he's a Trump golfing partner. And people like RFK Jr go from "world's biggest Liberal Lunatic" to "someone I like and respect".
You're an "enemy" to Trump if you don't kiss his #$$ or refuse to give him money.

"Anyone who doesn't tell me that I'm always right".

those above are quotes by adolf hitler.
that’s how he spun up the nazi party, by blaming their problems on jews. his “poisoning the blood” words are identical to trump.
trump knows what he’s doing, his followers don’t.

Plenty. They belong to the Shadow Governments. They communicate and govern through their membership in secret societies.
It was Kennedy who basically stated this in his speech about secret societies.

And of course, Data, there was Tucker Carlson and even the old lizard, Rupert Murdoch, saying he was an idiot but now have changed their tunes again. The conservative consistency of thought depends only on power: who exercises it and how they can get it or keep it.

Trump only likes people who "kiss the ring" and are willing to go to prison for him and his lies. He confuses loyalty to the Office, loyalty to the US Constitution, and personal loyalty.
Every 5th grade student in the USA is taught basic civics that govt employees are loyal to the office and the US Constitution, not the person holding the office. Trump is a disgrace to the office and all humans. That's been made clear all his life and continues to be clear every day when he spews more stupidity and lies.
Peter Neil
speaking of trump having a beef with people, he threw out a hail mary today that there will be no more cows if harris is elected. no more beef.
cows are the enemy within.
really. not a comedy skit.

That is a danger depending on what side of the political fence you are.
You mean, like Garland, that is the sad reality.
In other words you are saying that if Trump follows the Democrat playbook to a tee, the Dems are in trouble? Maybe...time will tell. There is an old saying about Karma....
The left tried that unconstitutionally twice and it failed badly for them.
Norm
How were the impeachments unconstitutional?

Bob Fosse
The article you linked argues that an ex -president can’t be impeached.
When was 45 first impeached and who was President then? What was unconstitutional about it?
bass4funk
Over a legitimate and legal phone call? Which he constitutionally had every right to make
That is the problem, nothing.
Norm
Wait. You’re moving the goalposts from one stadium to another entirely different arena and sport.
Your Cato thing was about ex-presidents not being able to be impeached. As of the second — constitutional — impeachment (January 13th), your BFF was still the sitting president.
Bob Fosse
So, when you claimed an hour ago that the impeachment was unconstitutional did you make a mistake?
bass4funk
I didn't move any goalposts, now the Dems on the other hand did when they tried to overlook the high crimes and misdemeanor acts. But it doesn't matter, he was acquitted anyways, which wasn't at all surprising.
On the Dems part? Yes, it was a mistake that backfired on them...twice..

Not sure the labels "marxist" and "communists" apply strictly, that depends on the definition. But surely anyone who looks in from the outside would agree that the policies of the people currently in charge are lunacy, so Trump is just stating a fact, albeit with his usual hyperbole.

“ Who does Trump see as 'enemies from within'? “—anyone who represents and defends internal and external forces that have nothing to do with the interests of the American people and that contribute nothing to the success of the country and the rest of the Western world.

Yes, as a russian, I can see how you would consider Americans opposed to russias annexations as a bigger danger.
Peter14
America does indeed have enemies within! First and foremost is Donald Trump himself, followed by his children and anyone else that supports Trump in his bid to take over America and destroy it completely.
Dark days for the US and the world could be just weeks away, or the continuation of democracy and freedom. Are Americans intelligent enough to pick the correct person to lead? Tens of millions are too stupid to understand the truth that Trump is the face of modern day American evil.
I pray that Democrats carry the day and Trump is consigned to history and probable jail time. If not America will join the axis of evil and ally with Russia, China, NK and others. God help us all if Trump is made President.

The MAGA basement dwellers.
lincolnman
That's a good point. Besides calling them "basement dwellers", he's also called them "The Great Unwashed" and "Fat Pigs"....then he cons them out of all their money...
Perhaps worse, he's told them the poisonous COVID vaccine is "safe and it works, and all my supporters should take it"....
Trump waging war against those "within" MAGA-world...
Bob Fosse
‘A good man’. Serial cheater, sex offender and multiple felon with nothing nice to say about anybody.
That he’s conned so many people into believing he is a good man is admittedly quite an admirable feat.
Some dude
That he’s conned so many people into believing he is a good man is admittedly quite an admirable feat.
Maybe not, given that most of them seem more than willing to be conned.

And yet, millions are and I think people just drown out the noise because, in the end, no politician is clean, none of them and I am voting for a problem solver and NOT for the goodness of their soul, Steve Jobs was a horrible person to deal with, Bill Gates as well, but they both gave us something that has changed our way of life in so many ways.

Some dude
I am voting for a problem solver
I like how he solved the problem of Covid by denying that it was a danger and letting far more people than necessary die of it on his watch. I guess that does count as problem-solving if you consider that there are too many people in your country, though.
bass4funk
More people died on Biden's watch overall. Covid was a bad situation, he did the best he could given the circumstances that people are still mentally, emotionally, and physically dealing with.
And after he left it got so much worse, so there is a lot of blame to go around that is for sure when it comes to Covid.
Zaphod
Some dude
That is what the "respected authorities" including the WHO were saying at the beginning, remember?
And once recognized, he pushed for the super-fast development of the "operation warp speed" mRNA vaccines, which were subsequently vehemently defended by his detractors once they got into office, remember? Political tunnel vision often leads to distorted memory, it seems.
Zaphod

LOL, you claim that I am Russian now? That is news to me, but I add that to all the interesting things I have learned here.
Some dude
Covid was a bad situation, he did the best he could
Yeah. Exactly. Which was pathetic.
