I don't care about shopping or "amenities" but for smoothness of operation and ease of use it is difficult to beat Haneda. Though access could be better. Overseas then Munich, Doha, Singapore and Hanoi was surprisingly good.
I used to like Brisbane. They unnecessarily made pick ups difficult in recent years but I guess it is still feels pretty spacious and relaxed. Singapore is pretty easy to get in and out of but I have no interest in the expensive "retail experience".
Hong kong for combination, Singapore for variety, Dubai/Qatar for absolute efficiency( and the lucky car draws whilst I lived there. London??? A total miss, for decades, transport system is ????( i will close before I get a moderation)
If I have to be stuck in an airport for a good few hours then Changi, DBX or Incheon airports come to mind. Heaps of amenities, easy to navigate, loads to do, and good customer service.
Changi overall has the lounges, shops, services and architecture covered. Incheon is alright but terminal 2 used to be so much better before covid, Haneda’s clean but not much to do and whoever designed it made the gates separated too much and because it started off as a domestic airport, it’s more convenient if you’re flying either Jal or Ana.
Istanbul actually has the best lounge I’ve ever visited and Sydney has a nice selection of eateries (not all fancy but the variety).

Singapore, Singapore and Singapore.
The one airport I didn't want to leave. I gotta try the rooftop swimming pool one of these trips.

Worst? Mumbai? New Delhi?

I agree with Mr Kipling on Haneda. The monorail is a bit naff but all in all a convenient and smooth airport experience each time.

I found that the one from Paris was quite modern and convenient. Singapore and Hong Kong ones are also on top 3.
