Fighto!
Another example of the lack of professionalism and standards of the US military. Just lucky no one was killed.

"A bag containing an inflammable signal flame tube..."
"flammable", "inflammable" and "nonflammable". Why are there three? Does it seem to you as though two words ought to be able to handle that idea? I mean, either the thing flams or it doesn't flam.

Be careful out there people!

America can’t seem to do anything right these days.

Hardly. Comments like these are only made by people who think that the world operates on a perfect plane where mistakes and human error never happen. The pilots and people in the US military are professionals, no one is perfect, mistakes happen, and fortunately no one was hurt.

More evidence that the United States of America, and everybody in it and from it are incompetent, foolish, and evil.
And more evidence that Japan is the helpless victim of American hegemony and aggression.

Yeah close the doors before takeoff and don't open until after landing

After a plane fell off a carrier hard to be surprised with things falling off anymore

Japan needs America protection otherwise she is in dire danger. That's why no matter how reckless things has done, nobody cares!

Two stories posted almost simultaneously. One, a minor mishap involving a small item falling out of a U.S. military aircraft with no casualties or impact to anyone. The other, an actual crash of a JSDF military aircraft with the likely of loss of the aircrew that could have caused mass casualties and destruction on the ground. Guess which one has ten times more comments than the other...
ian
Ok which one?

Guess which story involves a foreign military force. Deal with it.

Well, this signal is also a signal.

Be careful what you wish for…. Trump is stupid enough to pull our Military out of Japan without reason.

One 4:32 PM the other at 6:40 AM, not quite "simultaneously" and reaching to make a point.
Should have left the first sentence out of the comment. Complaining about the US military and any mishaps is more fun. It's easier to beat on a dead horse then actually think.

Some missions require the side doors to be open. Example, fast roping, hoisting, combat assault with door gunners working from the open side doors, etc. These helos are not air conditioned inside and flying someplace as hot and humid as Okinawa you leave the doors open so you don't stew in your own juices. The crew in back wear gunners belts so they can't fall out.
