There's so many transformation in middle east compared to Japan, while Japan just stubbornly doesn't want to change anything by keep screaming "This is Japan"

Will there be cut-price tickets for the media?

As long as an oppressive Muslim regime is in place, there will be no transformation. The transformation to look forward to is one that doesn't rely on Muslim oil. Be it nuclear or some other form of energy, we will all be better off once we no longer need to rely on repressive regimes, be they Islam, communist or otherwise.

Wrong. While there are big societal changes under the current Saudi king, who put a lid on the Wa habis, Saudi Arabia very much "screams" that "This is Saudi Arabia". The kingdom has no plan to change its identity as a conservative muslim society.

About generalizing about the entire middle east, you should clarify which other country is being "transformed" right now and how.

I believe Saudi is using much of its precious groundwater to feed vanity green projects...like "hey, wer,e not a desert at all "

Oil wont last forever either

Bat crazy real estate projects will also bankrupt the country.

the Osaka expo will cover various topics including women's empowerment

HAH, is this a new thing of the future?

Because outside of Japan and Mid Eastern countries, it's the norm.

You know you're doing badly when the best investor in you is a Middle Eastern sheikh.

Lol It's desperately spendthrift to polish it's pathetic image while hardly bothering for any true improvement.

This is incorrect. Saudi has adopted big cultural changes, adopting western dress, letting women drive cars, investing heavily in sports and entertainment. Imams opposing this have been locked up. A "Muslim regime" would not ban preachers from talking politics.

Israel was on the point of normalization with Saudi, who are very pro US, but has destroyed any chance of that by flattening Gaza. Any Arab country throwing their lot in with israel now risks Arab Spring part 2. Recognition of Israel will likely now come with a huge cost, like Saudi getting nuclear power (which means weapons).

Now all the negative journalists have been killed…should be all good news…

Western dress? Really It is illegal to be in public without a head covering if female, even if non Muslim and a foreign national. They have had a huge propaganda campaign using "sports washing" to improve their image, especially after the "bone cutter" incident in the Saudi embassy in Turkey. At the core, nothing has changed, no democracy, no freedom of faith, dress or government.

Mr Kipling...wrong again buddy.

I checked the Saudi Govt. office for obtaining visas....pretty accurate source.

Foreign women visitors are NOT required to wear head covering.

Since 2019 Saudi women are not required to wear head covering either but should dress modestly.

Most Saudi women DO wear the hijab or similar, many tourists do not.

Easy google check, with accurate sources, and you wont be mistaken so often

Guru....

Foreign women visitors are NOT required to wear head covering.

MBS has decreed that it is not compulsory and both foreigners and Saudi citizens can go without especially if they like being shouted at and abused.

Set foot anywhere outside the regular tourist zone and good luck.

Mr. Kipling...you have not been to Saudi Arabia he you ?

Now you move from "being illegal " to being shouted at ?

Aussie racists shout at tourists speaking in their home language " speak English, this is Australia "

Come on buddy...your paternalistic nationalism is showing.

BTW Saudi has "regular tourist zones " now, has it ?

Where be those ?
