Japan is now completely kicked out of China's agriculture market. The auto market in China gradually shut down the Japanese, and soon everything else. Adding to the pain, China's entertainment industry is rising with MiHoYo and others, while Chinese tourists refrain from going to Japan.

Kishida and LDP destroyed Japan's future through the reckless nuclear waste release! There were other options, which China and Russia offered to help.

Japan is not screwed and Japan is finding other ways. China is screwed because more and more investors are leaving China and China domestic labour market is already feeling the impact.

The fact is 90% of Japanese marines products now can't be sold. Even if feel pity about Japan and you want to buy it all, it's high number. What Japan will do about those products? What Japan will do with workers of those industries?

It’s true export of marine products to China was significant but you’re completely wrong here. Maybe you should reread your link a bit more slowly and work on comprehension.

It’s true that Japan’s exports of marine products to China have dropped 90%, but China’s imports were only around 17%, a significant amount but not 90%, of Japan’s exports. That 17% dropped by 90% so that means Japan’s exports shrunk by 15% if you don’t consider other countries that increased.

I don’t have the numbers but it probably means a net decrease if 5-8% and perhaps a bit larger percentage if value is considered.

Significant? Yes. Devastating and not able for Japan to be overcome? No

It certainly is.

But all this does is prove, again and again, to countries that China cannot be trusted in any way. Everyone is now well aware that they cannot rely on China as a destination for exports, or a source of imports (rare earths etc.) and they are reminded of this fact virtually daily by China's actions. Hence, we have the decoupling/derisking that is now prevalent all over the world, and growing.

In the end, it will be China that suffers - no-one else. China will be forced to come crawling back to all these countries it has wronged, just as it has done with Australia this week.

As others have noted, that's not what your link says at all. Your comment is (I'm guessing, purposely) misleading.

And the percentage that is now not being exported to China can be exported elsewhere (as Australia did with wine, Taiwan did with pineapples etc. following China's tired economic coercion), or sold internally. It's not the case that it "can't be sold."

Not with its stagnating economy, rampant unemployment, real estate crisis, crippling debt, multi-industry crackdowns, shrinking access to high technology due to its aggressive actions, demographic time-bomb etc. etc. etc. it won't.

The world has moved on from China. Xi had his chance, but spectacularly blew all the good will that his far more astute predecessors built up.

China is so screwed now! Because banning fish from Japan is not enough, they have to stop importing fish from everywhere! It's all the same water ALL RADIUOACTIVE as far as they say!

About Nishikigoi carps, No one eats them for food. These are pets. They just enjoy looking at these beautiful fish in own garden pond. So many European people come to buy Nishikigoi carps here in Japan.

I've seen these in the blue color plastic tubs once on the Matsumoto Castle vicinity. The most expensive one was one was a white/silvery body with a orange red circle resembling the national flag about ￥400,000.

Then again Chinese eat just about anything.......................................I saw a video of many Chinese restaurant workers scooping waste water from drains to include into their wonderful food stuffs. Then there was the video of a man peeing inside a brewery warehouse on raw products. Chinese food manufacturers are the most noxious in the world, they will add anything to bottles or cans just to make more profit.

China was embargoed by the US for 20 years and there was a famine. When there is nothing to eat, that's when you start to eat "anything." I once saw a Chinese movie where there were people so hungry that when a rat came and scurried along the floor boards, everyone in the room fought each other off trying to catch the rat/mouse for a meal.

When there was not enough food in Japan, that's when they start to eat grasshoppers, bee larvae and anything they can get their hands on. A nishikikoi - carp can be easily cooked if you're hungry.

There are only a few, selected, areas that are "developed to an eastern European level, like Poland. There are small pockets of developed areas that would meed western Europe or USA standards, though as long as potable drinking water isn't available from the tap everywhere, that doesn't qualify. In places like Macau and Hong Kong I wouldn't trust the tap drinking water, but I do trust it everywhere in the USA - tiny village to huge city.

People are taken in by the advertising showing sky scrapers in a few cities. It is mostly a facade, not the truth for normal Chinese living conditions which are concrete or dirt floors and terrible sanitation. Of course, not all Chinese people live in the best or the worst situations, but most of China is far below eastern European living standards.

And yet, decorative fish are important, somehow?

Good, if anything the fish will be very happy when you take away such a large proportion of the global population from decimating the fish population :-)

Why is China still fishing in waters that they say are tainted by Fukushima release, but banning imports of fish from exactly the same area?

Nishikigoi are grown in ponds not out at sea. They are freshwater fish. How thick are those Chinese?
