A powerful symbol of women empowerment!
Mr Kipling
Why is her hair showing at the front? Haram!

Maybe because she is in Osaka, not Saudi.

How old is weaving?
Weaving is one of the oldest crafts, with evidence suggesting its origins date back to at least 12,000 years ago during the Neolithic era.
How old is the longest surviving textile?
The longest surviving textile currently known is a 36,000-year-old flax fiber, discovered in the Republic of Georgia. While these are just fibers, not whole garments, they represent some of the oldest evidence of textile production and use by humans. A linen garment, the Tarkhan Dress, is considered the oldest surviving woven garment, dating back to around 3482-3102 BC
Mr Kipling
She is in the Saudi pavilion. Her boss (a man) will not be happy seeing this photo. I hope she doesn't get a beating because of this.

Mr. Kipling....I believe the lady will be taking driving lessons in Osaka and hiring a small Kei car for sightseeing.

There is no legal Saudi Arabia dress code for women, a lot of women wear an abaya with or without a head scarf. In 2018, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman declared that women only needed to dress modestly and not necessarily wear abayas.

Great photo, and maybe she is artistic and actually enjoys performing traditional arts and crafts.

She could easily pass for being Japanese in that face cover.
