Just google US military bases in east Asia and see just who is threatening who.

Google how long they have been there next.

Countries have the right to remove US military bases any time they want and the U.S. will oblige. You know this already though.

@JboneInTheZone

So far only one country in Africa able to do that, is not easy for a reason since there will be political and diplomatic pressure.

No. You’re wrong. The Philippines discontinued US military bases in 1991 and 1992, following the Senate's rejection of a new treaty. This rejection, which would have allowed the bases to remain for another ten years, led the Philippine government to inform the US on December 6, 1991, that they had one year to complete withdrawal.

The U.S. withdrew within a year.

It’s a damn shame, isn’t it? China wants to bottle up half of the Pacific Ocean and proclaim it as theirs alone. Open waterways for travel and commerce could become a thing of the past and be strictly regulated for all countries under China’s supervision.

Why Japan is worried

China's military buildup and expanding area of activity have raised tensions in the region.

Again it’s the guilty conscience that comes with invasions. 1937 is producing people with insomnia.

Payback is always a perpetual possibility in perpetrators’ ponderings.

Japan has to build up its own military. Not for war, but for balance of power. It's an unfortunate thing but necessary, whether we like it or not. China is and has been growing into a monstrosity of a bully and at this moment with America First mentality blinding Americans to what is happening globally, Japan needs to get into warp speed mode and build its defense capabilites to the max.

They didn’t build that, it’s Russia’s reject carrier

China is pursuing a vast military modernization program including ambitions of a true “blue-water” naval force capable of operating at long ranges for extended periods.

Need to consult the resident naval expert Desert Tortoise but the US does not have the ship manufacturing capacity as China.

China churns out warships like biscuits at a British tea party. The numbers don’t lie: China’s shipyards are booming.

The Americans may even outsource to Japan and shipshape and savvy South Korea who can deliver warships at half the price and twice the speed of their American counterparts.

Yeah, but China is known to churn out junk!!

Complaints often center on issues of quality, maintenance, and technological compatibility. Countries that have purchased Chinese equipment have reported difficulties in obtaining spare parts, and a lack of adequate support.

Malfunctions, breakdowns, and even accidents, like the crashes of K-8W jets purchased by Venezuela.

The Bangladesh military expressed concerns about the quality of Chinese-made weapons and the lack of after support.

The RAND Corporation's report cited examples of faulty fighter jets sold to Nigeria and Myanmar.

Pakistan encountered malfunctions with Chinese equipment, leading to increased costs and delays.

The military in Myanmar found radar on JF-17 aircraft to be poorly accurate, and the aircraft itself lacking key features.

Get used to it. This is China's backyard. This is the USA's far west. Geography and economics matter.

Why??? The answer is right in your face. Don't pretend that you can't see it. Hint. The American facilities/bases all around the sea lanes surrounding China. Easy answer right?

The Pacific Ocean covers 32% of the planet's total surface. Half of the Pacific Ocean is 80,000,000+ km squared. (30,000,000 miles squared) lol

China wants to bottle up half of the Pacific Ocean

Do we get lengthy reports when other countries sail their ships around and get their aircraft to fly on and off their aircraft carriers?

Don't think so.

This biased, skewed fear mongering narrative around China is hypocritical and inflammatory.
