The LDP will win.
SarcasmOnly
I for one am excited about finding out which party will decide the future of Japan!
This election will decide it all and radically change the future of the nation.

I presume that’s only sarcasm.
Of course the LDP will win and absolutely nothing will change.

If the LDP loses its majority in the upcoming upper house election, there’s still hope for Japan.

The ruling coalition of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito were roundly defeated in the lower house elections last October from Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba ill-fated foolish decision to call a snap election.
No election is a given, never has been, never will be, only a fool would think insist so.
The feel-good factor has long gone, it is noticeable from the cost-of-living chaos, price inflation on the shelves of supermarkets. Bags of 5kg rice 4500 yen.
More pain could be yet to come with Trumps tariffs a constant threat.
The mismanagement of political funds, the ever pong stink of ruling LDP government political corruption.
Japan political leadership whether ruling government of opposition is incompetent weak. It will be interesting to view the election vote numbers, especially turnout

A protest vote is possible. While there may not be a better alternative to the LDP, voters can at least punish them by removing their majority. At the very least, I hope politicians have enough common sense not to use those loud, expensive vans to drive around and shout "よろしくお願いします." Too many people are suffering due to governmental mismanagement, and wasting even more tax money on an activity that looks and sounds like a festival would be a slap in the face.

Ishiba is going to be one of the greatest PMs in Japanese history. I just love him -- he can do no wrong in my eyes. We are so lucky to be part of the ongoing LDP success story.

You are so right. Things can only get better with Ishiba in charge. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about him.

There are opposition parties, but you don't need to worry about them. Why waste your precious vote on losers who only became politicians because they had failed in life and couldn't think of anything else to do. The LDP will rule Japan forever!

The LDP never disappoint -- they are constantly reinventing themselves and coming up with wonderful policies like cash handouts that make our lives so much better. I love the LDP!

Let's see. Moribund economy at home. Global economic and trade wars started by the USA. Hot wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. In times of upheaval voters will choose stability. LDP baby, all the way. Wahoo.

Still better than choosing to become a Xi Jinping slave.
