To be clear, China's seafood ban is a flagrant violation of WTO rules, particularly the "Agreement on the application of sanitary and phytosanitary measures."

China has ignored scientific evidence from the IAEA and Japanese government, refused Japan's offer to conduct China-specific monitoring (for well over a year, until recently), and provided zero evidence of its own that Japanese seafood is in any way harmful.

Its actions violate several articles, such as Article 2-2 which states that a measure must be:

"based on scientific principles and is not maintained without sufficient scientific evidence."

China is in clear violation here, and no amount of CCP lies will change that.

Just ban Chinese seafood in return. Which should be banned anyway.

Japan has never apologized as there is absolutely nothing to apologize for.

The IAEA has stated many times that the release is in line with international safety standards, and China has produced zero evidence to the contrary.

Tokyo and Beijing agreed in September last year that seafood imports from Japan will gradually resume, contingent upon Beijing's participation in monitoring activities.

What is the delegation asking exactly? For imports to resume even if agreement haven't been met yet?

Beware those fishery products is a conspiracy to poison Chinese people. The danger of long time eating low radioactive contaminated food is very hazardous to health!

The opposition lawmakers are on a four-day visit to China through Sunday after the CDPJ and the Communist Party signed a memorandum of understanding last August to boost cooperation and communication.

And it is for this very reason that both parties are unable to defeat the LDP. What a shameful trip and on top of that they sign a memorandum with the Chinese Minister of Publicity (Minister of Propaganda).

And these are Japan's political alternative. What a joke. I just hope they never touch power, because it will be a real disaster right now.
