Look how many companies in the U.S. are letting people go, because they are unable to make any kind of stable sales/income forecast due to his policies.

Donald Trump was never a stable candidate, which has always been crystal clear from an external perspective. He wasn't first time around, he wasn't in his first term, and he isn't this time around either. No surprises there.

World trade markets are in turmoil, diplomatic relations are probably at an all time low, and you currently have riots and the national guard and marines deployed in one of the country's biggest cities.

The ships with goods subject to tariffs are either unloading now or did so in the last two weeks. None of that merch is in the stores yet. China's exports to the US are 34% below May of last year and June is projected to be even lower. That will create shortages at US retailers in the coming months. Work shifts at the ports of LA and Long Beach have been reduced by half since April because there is so little in port to unload. Normally volume rebounds after the Lunar New Year but this year there has been no rebound.
