They've already stolen enough of my tax yen for this farce. I'm certainly not going to pay any more just to be herded around in unbearable heat and humidity.
This will be my 2nd time, with the first being in Aichi. They are great for travel fans who wants to go to certain difficult countries. I still think that the expo should have been at the old Banpaku Koen. They could have just updated the venue, thus increasing their profitability. There's also already established transportation there, including a nearby shopping mall to unwind and bring more economy to the area.
I would like to go, but with tickets for the whole family, transport to Osaka, hotel there and everything, it seems a little expensive. It seems like an interesting experience though.
Already was three times in Japan and love this country with all of my heart! Sure, Expo looks like attractive event, and I hope to visit it on vocation this summer
People complain about the tax money spent on building the EXPO and then declare they’re not going to go as if it’s going to make their tax money magically return to their pockets!
Unfortunately the forced exposition in the media did nothing but convince me that there is nothing really interesting and too much troubles. Sad for the people in Osaka that likely will have to pay for this for a long time.
I'd like to see what they're making & what items may be helpful or useful in the future. Just the cost of transportation, entrance & meals & the such inside the venue is a bit overwhelming. Not to mention the crowds. That's never fun. Lotta work went into putting this together, so I do hope it works out for them.
Sure. It's something to do. The food looks good. The train is cheap. And, weekday admission is only ¥6000. (But, the ticket purchase and reservation system is ridiculously overcomplicated, as is to be expected for Japan. )

“Expos” are a thing of the past specially for “advanced” nations. And a waste of taxpayers money.

If I should ever get that unexpected feeling, then reading a SDG brochure will do.

They could have put the whole thing on one YouTube video and saved a lot of trees and time.....We're all excited for that casino though

If I want to stand around in a crowd and see the world I'll go to an airport.

Why? So I can wait two or three hours in line in the hot sun (or cold rain) and then simply watch a video of what they think the future will be like?

I would go if I lived there. Why not? Why is everyone so bitter? Makes traffic bad? I get it.

The sheer scale is amazing and puts ones own life into perspective.
The tech is next level with vistas inside the pavilion coming to life.
The local staff were chatty and warm and were a stand out!
Some of the architecture consists of cascading water and morphing buildings-awe inspiring.
A lot of work went into the event and it’s saddening to think it will be gone within a year.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the large number of solar panels helping to power the event too.
I recommend it 100%

Oh, one more thing.
There was zero wait time to enter!

No.
Former industrial waste final disposal site, harmful matters including Methane gus are spreading, even birds seem to avoid Expo place.
Last week, this Expo caused first victim.
