A Yamato Transport spokesperson. Yamato has teamed up with online retailers so that customers can leave their luggage at 40,000 locations across Japan, including convenience stores. From there, the items are shipped back to their homes.

People will complain about people bringing luggage to the convenience stores next.

I'm starting to feel sorry for convenience store workers. They being made to do more and more. They deserve a raise.

They don't even get enough people in their shift to deal with the clients, delivery and stocking of goods, etc. after all the self check-out is supposedly enough to replace them.

They sure need to get their 2 full sized pieces of luggage each and huge backpacks off crowded trains.

For some reason I see this as an issue with the Asian tourists mostly. They do love carrying big luggages on wheels even on the crowdiest of places, with zero consideration for the others around. I never understood this kind of "culture".
