If the money came from PM Ishiba's own pocket what's the big deal if he uses his money as he deems fit. Regardless of whom he gave it to.

Yadayadayada, why is everybody obsessing so much about what PM Ishiba did with his own money? I couldn't care less! Doesn't Japan have more important problems to solve? Maybe, just maybe the government could finally get around to care about those?!

Exchanging money for favors should be illegal regardless of where the money came from and what country you are doing the bribing in.
