Or maybe because women have finally realized how stupid they were on being forced to buy chocolates for men?

I remember back in the 80s, my Japanese female friends and coworkers didn't mind so much about buying these for their coworkers or men in their families.

But as the decades have progressed, I've sensed a greater distaste for this custom by women especially since Valentine chocolates have become ridiculously expensive..
