Freeman is a dual national, born in California of Canadian parents. If he can knock a baseball into the stands, I wouldn't care if he was from Mars.

I have no idea what the above means, but some people cannot seem to contain their dislike of Shohei and his huge Japanese fan base, always raining on their parade. Yes, Shohei was a non-factor this World Series so far, but he did contribute to that comeback tie in game 1 that allowed the Dodgers to survive into the late innings. And he was magnificent the entire season, the definitive MVP of the National League. If the Dodgers win tomorrow, great on the team, Shohei, and all of his fans throughout Japan.

Ohtani did score the first run today after drawing a leadoff walk. And he moved Edman into scoring position, who then scored on Mookie’s single. May not be exciting but he’s still making a contribution.

Last year, all the fans watching in his hometown were decked out in Angels merch. I really can't take "fans" who switch teams seriously. Complete bandwagon supporters, the worst of the worst.

If anything they showed they are loyal fans, supporting him even when he was on a crappy team.
