It wasn't just Ohtani, it was the whole team, up and down the lineup even without Freddie. The bull pen was strong and the best part was that LAD ate the steak when it was on the grill. WS is going to be a good one.

Why is he wearing ski goggles?

Not sure… Maybe we should ask the guy in the back, and the guy holding the bottle why they are also wearing ski goggles.

dbsalya -- You are right about baseball being a team sport. However, everyone knows that Ohtani left the Angels in pursuit of a championship and that is really the story. He had a pretty good season that helped the team get where they are. It's almost like a Hollywood script writer wrote his story (which Hollywood would have turned down. "This is just to unbelievable.") And you are right about the World Series. The most exciting Series pre-game one in decades. Of course, Ohtani and Judge will slug it out, and the two best sidekicks in the game (Soto and Mookie) will be there, too. The anticipation is the most of any World Series this century. And more than most from the 20th century, too.

Would you want Ohtani to pitch (even for just one or two innings) if it comes down to a final Game 7 Showdown?

Do you think that Ohtani would like to @itch?

@Gene

So true, Ohtani joined the Dodgers with most of his pay deferred and clearly his goal was to join a team and making it to the WS. He also played a role on recruiting Yamamoto and both players had many options until the very end. I have so much respect for both teams, I have family and friends in both places so it’s wonderful to be able to see their match up!
