Well, no surprises here. The NFL used to be about American football, but now it's just a reality show starring Taylor Swift's Pfizer-funded boyfriend and his supporting cast, the rest of the Chiefs. Penalties disappear, calls MAGICALLY go their way, and suddenly the league is bending over backward to make sure their golden couple gets a Super Bowl spotlight.

Maybe next season, the refs can just wear Chiefs jerseys and save us the suspense.

The decision in 1972 to replace an (obviously ridiculous) logo with something better wasn't wokeness. The team's owners, rich Bible-thumping Texans, almost certainly are fully aligned with the kicker Harrison Butker. You have to be joking. Swift is no more important than Jack Nicholson at a Lakers game.
