Well done Dodgers - 2 more wins from a potential 5 matches will wrap up this series. Awful news about Ohtani - his series is sadly done if it is a partial dislocation.

I dunno, but a relocation and a 'stitch in' I reckon that guy could just do it with muscle rehab, I ain't a doc. i sgot a left shoulder 'stitch in' decades ago BB stuff... maybe he has already done enough? just give him confidence and support for next season

He seems to have lost his touch for stealing bases in recent outings, and maybe ending his World Series here is a sad end to a great season. But hopefully he can pitch in the World Series next year if they have another good season.

The Dodgers are rolling now. Yamamoto was dealing. He was able to mix his fastball, slider, and splitter really well. He just had one bad pitch, but four runs by the offense was enough. Sad to hear about the injury to Shohei, but he has had a pedestrian World Series so far (as is Judge), so I'm sure the other players can pick up the slack. It's amazing that the guaranteed AL and NL MVPs are having an awful World Series so far.

Whether Shohei plays or not isn't going to make any difference to the Dodger's chances for the remainder of hte series. He's been pretty much a non-factor even before the injury, an atrocious .125 batting average (his counterpart Judge is even worse at .111). Thanks to his teammates Shohei is on the verge of his first World Series ring, much to the dismay of the Shohei and Dodgers dislikers (they cannot stand to see Japanese people celebrating their hero).

I like Ohtani, but that was a bonehead amateur move. Dodgers are winning in the 7th, 4-1, even if he wasn't producing, there was no need to force anything. Teo was in the batter's box behind him so all he had to do was wait it out for Teo to bring him in. Even if he's not producing, Ohtani is helping the team by just being in the lineup, cause the pitchers know he can take it long and have the pressure from the first pitch. No need to be the hero, it was only the second game. They needed him in NY.

However unlikely, he might not be done for the whole remaining series. If he isn't, just having him in the lineup can spark the Dodgers. He's probably done though. Just having him on the bench could spark his team anyway. Ralph Houk of the Yankees said that just having Mickey Mantle on the bench was worth what he was paid for.

Give him a day to recoup it's not like he's hitting well anyway

Oh no..Please recover soon. You are the best.

That was a stupid move by Ohtani. Not only did it result in injury, but it was completely unnecessary.
