A ban is not needed and is also not possible, because first, there's nothing to fear as real AI is not existent and will remain impossible , and second, they all who are involved have their own and obviously slow learning curve before they recognize that it can't work and is impossible for mainly mathematical and a few other reasons. Like toddlers they need to touch with hands the hot plate to believe that it is said to be too hot, otherwise they don't get it.
