That is a lot of star power and Harris already has my vote .
But realistically I told people who said Trump couldn't win in 2016 that Clinton was in danger with progressives and workers.
Harris needs to make bold moves on inequality and social justice, health care to contrast herself more starkly from the kleptocrat Trump.
Joe
But Trump has Hale the crapto-fraud and Kid Schlock, lol.

I can't remember who are the candidates?
Harris, Trump, Beyonce, Lizzo, Gaga, Eminem, Usher, Megan Thee Stallion, Springsteen, etc...
With Trump as the Republican candidate I would have thought the Dems could have painted a pig blue written Presidential candidate on it and won.
But somehow Dems are struggling to the point they are soon going to dig up the dead passed celebrities or presidents to drag on stage.
Lord Dartmouth
Pathetic. As if some out-of-touch, washed up celeb mattered to anything. Embrace the suck, Dems. You're going down hard.
lincolnman
The entire momentum and energy is clearly on Harris' side...she's upbeat, energetic, and confident...
On the other hand, you have the Orange Loser who is so brain addled that his campaign has cancelled most of his events in an attempt to hide him away, and when he does emerge, he melts down with rants about someone's genitals then insults every audience he's at, to include his own supporters who he calls "fat pigs"...
We're seeing the end of Donald Trump as a political figure - he's now an unhinged, angry, word-slurring, pathetic joke - deep into the ravages of dementia...likely the only excuse to keep him from a cell...

Bruce Springsteen in Atlanta does zero.

Good, Trump’s got mine and he did being the star of the show..!
Seems like history is about to repeat itself
She didn’t do any of that over the last 4 years, she never even visited the border as border czar after being appointed and so how will she take care of all these entitlements if she didn’t do them currently??? Since Trump won’t be going to prison and foiled the Wiley Dems at their own games, what’s next for them? They won’t get jobs in the private sector? Maybe a paid contributor gig?
Blacklabel
Lizzio got 2.3 million dollars. So Eminem gets 5 and Beyoncé gets 10?
Kamala knows it over, just blowing the campaign cash on concerts she wants to see.
Eminem was kinda obvious that he was there to introduce Obama, not her. Barry needed that ego stroke.
Norm
She never was appointed something called “border czar” — that’s a term made up by Trump’s team and perpetuated by his ignorant minions.
Antiquesaving
This was fact checked by ABC and was false.
Just because he didn't do the NRA or 60 minutes Harris group made this up.
The reality is since Harris became the candidate Trump has out done her by nearly twice the number of events and interviews.
The fact that polls are showing her doing even worse than Biden was/would be doing especially among certain needed demographics, is telling.

I think the sickest Trump burns come from his own team - and the best at it is his former "best-ever" NSA John Bolton…
"Amid new reports about Donald Trump’s admiration for Adolf Hitler and fascism, the former president’s national security adviser pretty much said the Republican nominee is not a fascist.
But it wasn’t a compliment.
In an interview Tuesday on CNN, John Bolton suggested Trump was too lazy and dumb to wrap his head around political philosophy.
“I think it’s a mistake to get into a controversy over whether Trump meets the definition of fascist or not,” he told the news network’s Kaitlan Collins. “I think his behavior alone is troubling enough. To be a fascist, you have to have a philosophy. Trump’s not capable of that. You know, Adolf Hitler wrote a profoundly troubling book called ‘Mein Kampf’ – ‘My Struggle.’ Donald Trump couldn’t even read his way all the way through that book, let alone write something like it.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has tapped Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the White House effort to tackle the migration challenge at the U.S. southern border and work with Central American nations to address root causes of the problem.

The rally at a football stadium in GA is full, unlike the empty stadiums for Trump where people leave early or at all “going to the bathroom” at the same time, lol.
Mr Kipling
Biden was always going to be a one term stop gap to beat Trump in 2020. That the Democrats didn't set up a credible replacement candidate in the 4 years they had is a mistake they are going to be kicking themselves over for a long time. They chose wokeness over reality. Harris to be VP for her gender and skin colour. We will see how that worded out on Nov 5th.

It’s surprising many here thinks Harris is still going to win.
If a white woman couldn’t defeat Trump you think a minority woman will?
Some dude
If the whole "celebrity endorsement" thing didn't work, politicians wouldn't use it.
It's cheap, it panders to the lowest common denominator, and it is clearly effective. Why else do the makers of products want famous people to endorse their stuff so badly?
Of course I imagine that if the situation were reversed and Trump was pulling in the real big stars, then MAGA would be all-in on that.
Some dude
If a white woman couldn’t defeat Trump you think a minority woman will?
Trump was a (comparatively( unknown quantity as a politician the first time around. As I understand it, he won because a) he got a lot of help from Russia, and b) Clinton wasn't the ideal opponent.
Now that we know what four years of Trump looks like, it's now simply an issue of how many people want 4 more years of that, and how many don't.
Blacklabel
yep it totally worked for Hillary.
bass4funk
Kamala had so many, and it still didn’t her with the Black men or Latino vote.
So I would be voting for a Presidential candidate based on the celebrity that endorses them?
No, because at the end of the day, we are not voting for the celeb, we are voting for the candidate.
Blacklabel
Didn’t realize Obama convinced Sam Jackson, Spike Lee and Tyler Perry to show up too.
Attilathehungry
Harris is losing. And her answer, her final appeal to the voters, amounts to "Orange Man Bad", and "I know rich people". It isn't going to work. I always suspected that her campaign would tank as soon as she had to open her mouth and start talking. Same thing happened in 2020 during the Democratic primaries- she was forced to drop out before even one vote was cast.
dagon
Another great example of MAGA lack of self-awareness and projection, like with Trump and his Jeffrey Epstein plane.
If you support Trump you probably do not want to go anyplace about Diddy in the debate.

The Harris campaign people are really clutching at straws now. A celebrity concert. How original and trite. They know it's over but can't admit it. CNN knows it's over and is tacitly admitting it. MSNBC knows it's over but can't admit it. Comically biased writers like the authors of this story probably know it too but are clinging desperately to a hope that's fast evaporating.

Yes, Biden was the better candidate, which is why Trump has repeatedly lamented that Harris replaced Biden. Makes total sense. :)
Bob Fosse
Eminem isn’t running for president. The convicted felon and sexual predator you support is. Duh.
Bob Fosse
Lol. 45 has literally been photographed numerous times at parties with diddy. Called him a very good friend in fact.
Cards fan
What's delusional about pointing out how Trump has repeatedly whined about Harris replacing Biden on the ticket? Delusional would be thinking he wants to face a harder opponent.
Attilathehungry
Seems like a lot of 'buyer's remorse' for the democrats. They could have had an open primary. Could have picked a genuine moderate like Josh Shapiro, who would be ahead by 5 points by now. But they were trapped by their own ideology into choosing the objectively poorest candidate. And now will pay the price.
Some dude
I note that the closer the election gets, the more intense the MAGA people are in their announcements. Now they're openly predicting a Trump landslide, even though the consensus seems to be that the election is "close" (which is a mystery to pretty much every other country, bar Russia perhaps).
If their predictions fail to come true and Harris wins - be it by a little or a lot - and they decide to stick around here, it will be especially entertaining to read their litany of excuses as to why their Orange Messiah lost. If they can even bring themselves to admit that, of course...
Blacklabel
oddly we not hearing that anymore. Why?
its delusion that previous comments are relevant to today’s situation. Kamala is now even losing all the groups and states Joe brings as guaranteed votes.

lol Such disdain for democracy. What are basing this off of anyways?
lol Elon was never a leftists. Socially liberal? Perhaps. Leftist? no.
Yup. They're delusional. Just like Trump.
Forget the ballots, I'd like to know what part of the early voting results thus far is making them excited.
Bob Fosse
I didn’t say it was. I was pointing out how weird it was that blacklabel accused the Harris campaign of being the ‘diddy party’.
Everyone already knows 45 is a sexual predator.
Cards fan
Probably because we moved on from that and are now talking about the other melt-brain drivil Trump is bringing up. :)
lmao That's not what the early voting results show. :)
Gene Hennigh
What I've noticed here in comments is that most of the far-right commenters never make their comment first. This goes to the way the right works. As in these comments, most of the far-horde waits for someone to say something and then they put down what was said and the person who said it. This is the kind of cowardness that encumbers the right. Rather than to think for themselves, they want someone else to do it for them. At least with Harris we know she will make mistakes. I'd be shocked if she didn't because that's never happened ever. I don't want a dictator for a day. No dictator ever stopped after a day. If the far-right wants a country in which one has to watch what they say to a friend because you never know what your friend will do: keep silent or report you, they will be sorry for not thinking for themselves a little.
Blacklabel
So Kamala just gonna do Joe Rogan podcast to clear all this up, right? Joy and vibes.
Joe Biden was the “only one” who could “beat” Trump. lol
early voting is horrific for Democrats. lol

It's fairly standard for them. It's the "flood the zone" technique popularised by people like Steve "Mr. Personal Hygiene" Bannon. Just post a huge volume of complete falsehoods ("Trump is winning all the states that count, he's close to a landslide, Harris' campaign is desperate and losing"), with the intention to muddy the waters to the extent that people start to think that their claims might be true.

Looking at the comments and seeing the studies, it is interesting that the side claiming to be accepting is the one most likely to discriminate and be hostile to anyone thinking different.
Democrat children were more likely to say their parents wouldn't even let them go to a friend's house if the parents were republican.
So much for the "inclusive" left.
I am not American and I see this from an outsider's point if view and all I heard from Harris are the same rehearsed lines and Trump Trump Trump.
She can't seem to say what if any policies she actually has.
I expected that from Trump but it seems she is as devoid of facts and policies as he is.
But she is great at putting on fake accents and repeating " I am from a middle class background" which is ironic because in Montreal she lived in the most exclusive rich area of Westmount that no one in my middle class family could have ever afforded.

This is projection par excellence.
The panic has set in, and the closer we get to November 5, the shriller the Democrats get in their messaging. They know they're done, and don't know where to turn. Cancelled the Rogan spot because they know she can barely hold a 2 minute conversation without mangling her message. Not even a SEAL team would be able to rescue her from 3 hours even with Rogan going easy on her.
It's too late to ditch their dud pick. They can't wheel ol' Joe out again. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at Harris campaign HQ. Pandamonium would be reigning.

I'm talking about Pennsylvania early voting, which is now bluer than in 2020.
I'm talking about North Carolina where the GOP is only up by .2%, and 30% of the ballots are independents. What percentage of those independents are going to Trump? Not many.
The fact that so many people are voting is a good sign for Democrats, because when turnout is high, they usually win.

Doesn't matter whether you are or not. You're clearly on their side, and in any case I'm referring to Democrats themselves and both their American and non-American supporters. The tone is the same and the feel is truly one of panic. They thought they had it in the bag so they badly misjudged their choice of candidate and running mate. A few years in the wilderness might give them some perspective.

We shall see, as they say.
The irony is that while you go on about "panic", you and the other MAGA types on here are predicting more and more outlandish results. I get the general impression that this is going to be a close election (why, heaven only knows, but that's one for the psychologists), but now you guys are basically claiming that there is no chance at all of a democrat victory and that Trump is going to cruise to victory.
That sounds pretty panicky to me.
Some dude
why? Your candidate is horrible with terrible policies she can’t even articulate.
Not mine, pal. I'm not a member of a political party.
And "yours" is a convicted criminal whose supporters seem to actually approve of the fact.
One of these things is not like the other.
See, I don't discount the possibility of Trump winning. I think it would be an error of historical proportions to put him back in the White House, but just because of that I don't come out and say "Harris is winning in every state" and then quote some nobody on Twitter.
My eyes are open to the possibility of a Trump win, and also to the possibility of a Harris win.
You refuse point blank to entertain one of these two possibilities because you're afraid.

So, basically you're distancing yourself from the tribe now that things are looking bad for them.
As for Trump being a convicted criminal - only in the vein of a Soviet-style show trial. Never been part of the "tribe". As I think I've said countless times (I know you MAGA people have the memory of a goldfish; no wonder you deny things like January 6 when you can't remember a detail from a few posts back), I'm not a US citizen. My natural political leanings are generally closer to democrat than republican, but as I can't vote in the US election then that is no more than personal trivia.

History books will record him as a convicted criminal. You can believe what you like, but the history books will record him as one. And if he wins the election, it will be written that the American public knowingly elected a convicted criminal to the highest office in the land.

Unlike this stable genius, with his well-articulated "weave" about 1,000% tariffs on imported cars:
And then all of a sudden, you hear that they’re leaving Milwaukee or they’re leaving wherever they may be located. It’s very sad to see it. And it’s so simple. I mean, you know, this isn’t like Elon with his rocket ships that land within 12 inches on the moon where they wanted to land. Or he gets the engines back. That was the first I realized. I said, “Who the hell did that?” I saw engines about three, four years ago. These things were coming. Cylinders, no wings, no nothing. And they’re coming down very slowly, landing on a raft in the middle of the ocean someplace with a circle. Boom.
Reminded me of the Biden circles that he used to have, right? He’d have eight circles and he couldn’t fill ’em up. But then I heard he beat us with the popular vote. I don’t know. I don’t know. Couldn’t fill up the eight circles. I always loved those circles. They were so beautiful. They were so beautiful to look at. In fact, the person that did them, that was the best thing about his, the level of that circle was great. But they couldn’t get people, so they used to have the press stand in those circles because they couldn’t get the people. Then I heard we lost. Oh, we lost. No, we’re never gonna let that happen again. But we’ve been abused by other countries. We’ve been abused by our own politicians, really, more than other countries.

But what are her policies?
Think about it from another angle: when your opponent is Trump, maybe you don't need policies.
You just need to not be Trump.
Does anyone remember the policies that Joe Biden ran on when he beat Trump in 2020? I doubt it. I bet most people remember why they were glad he won: because he wasn't Trump. Not because of his policies on the economy, diplomacy, foreign trade, national security, and so on. Not even because the US regained its reputation as "not a clown show". But because he wasn't Trump. Didn't go around barging world leaders out of the way at international events. Didn't try to move hurricanes with a sharpie. Didn't make a political event out of a virus which subsequently killed fare more people than it should have.
He wasn't Trump.
(I'd imagine that this would be an effective tactic in Russia, if it weren't for the fact that even announcing your candidacy against Putin is probably enough to get your family exiled to the gulag. "Vote for me, and I'll stop sending all the menfolk from your family to be used as target practice for Ukrainian drones!")
The whole world has seen what 4 years of Trump looks like. I think Harris could just say "I won't be like that" and that should be enough for most sane individuals, but hey. Who knows.
