Israel argues it has a functioning court system

Functioning court maybe how it practicing apartheid system.

.

the threat of arrest could make it difficult for the Israeli leaders to travel abroad.

Now they can learn how to Palestine travel with multiple checkpoint, it's not that easy right.

.

Check it, who really try to threat ICC judges and prosecutors, giving protection to occupier.

Benjamin Netanyahu is a product of the racist ideology of Zionism. The belief that one group is superior and deserving special treatment over others. Zionism should be in court then outlawed.

Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders condemned the move as disgraceful and antisemitic. U.S. President Joe Biden also lambasted the prosecutor and supported Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas.

Sure Israel has the right to defend itself against Hamas but that's not what happened is it !

Is stopping aid to innocent civilians defense against Hamas ?

Is killing humanitarian workers defense against Hamas ?

Is slaughtering innocent civilians defense against Hamas ?

Is actively killing everything in site and turning Gaza into rubble defense against Hamas ?

President Joe Biden also lambasted the prosecutor

Joe Biden needs to resign

The war has triggered a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, displacing roughly 80% of the population and leaving hundreds of thousands of people on the brink of starvation, according to U.N. officials.

I’ve been hearing this “brink of starvation” rhetoric since November, but according to Al Jazeera only 27 people have died due to malnutrition so far:

https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2024/3/27/starvation-anatomy-of-a-very-cruel-slow-death

Here’s an article from November 7th stating Gaza was on the “brink of starvation”

Just like when Palestinians travel in their own nation of Palestine where Israeli army and settlers check points are on every street corner and road. Never knowing when you going to get shot at or arrested just for being a Palestinian.

6 ( +14 / -8 )

How many should have died by now?

Without any food, humans usually die in around 2 months. If half a million people have been on the brink of starvation since 11/7/2023 then I’d suspect more than 27 should have died by now assuming those starvation conditions have existed since the beginning of November

when the ICJ issues warrants of arrest for Black African leaders /dictators, or for Putin , is the ICJ being anti Semitic there as well ?

And Biden barks about International Rules Based Order and patrols various sea ways trying to enforce it, yet when a non US and Independent body like the UN or ICJ makes a decision the US doesnt like , Biden whines like a child.

Maybe someone could google what Biden''s reaction to the ICJ action on Putin was ?

But I bet the pro Israeli posters here will call this decision by the ICJ "anti semitic "

It like a magic phrase in which all wrongdoing is absolved.

70-80% of habitable buildings destroyed in all of Gaza

Forced starvation of a population of 2.4 million

Collective punishment on a colossal scale

The United States is not a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Act (American Service-Members' Protection Act) authorizes the president of the United States to use "all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court". This authorization led to the act being colloquially nicknamed "The Hague Invasion Act", as the act allows the president to order U.S. military action, such as an invasionof the Netherlands, where The Hague is located, to protect American officials and military personnel from prosecution or rescue them from custody.

Tdawg, you dont get to make a statement, get proven wrong then change the goal posts.

Israel has always controlled Gaza.

And ,to split hairs, the blockade following Hamas' win in the election happened , the day after the election win .

Did Israel have a panic attack and decide to pre emptively blockade Gaza 244 hours after Hamas won ?

Israel has problem without a plan.

What to do with millions of displaced refugees that followed the Nakba.

10 ( +14 / -4 )

Tdawg, you dont get to make a statement, get proven wrong then change the goal posts.

My statement wasn’t proven wrong. Please tell me what presence Israel has had IN Gaza since 2005 prior to 10/7. And no, a blockade isn’t “in Gaza”

Israel has always controlled Gaza

Look who’s changing goalposts now. And no, they haven’t always “controlled” Gaza. How is leaving in 2005 and allowing them to elect their own (terrorist) government “controlling” them?

Did Israel have a panic attack and decide to pre emptively blockade Gaza 244 hours after Hamas won ?

How can they pre-emptively blockade them after the election of Hamas? That sentence makes no sense. And again, if you don’t want to get blockaded don’t elect a government that vows to destroy Israel and all Jews

Dont forget, Egypt also has a blockade on Gaza due to Hamas’ terror connections in Egypt

Then what about a country that elects multiple killer/terrorist as members of their parliament and even PM?

Short memory by Israeli supporters!

Israel was founded by terrorism!

The British left because of Zionist terrorist groups like:

Irgun, Lehi, Haganah and Palmach etc..

Let me remind you and others.

Irgun members (you know the guys that killed 90 by blowing up the hotel

Yitzhak Shamir:became Israel's 7th PM

Uri Avnery: Became a member of the Knesset.

Nathan Yellin-Mor: served in the Knesset after he planned the assignation of "Walter Guinness, 1st Baron Moyne the British minister of state in the Middle East"

Mordechai Olmert: another Knesset membre.

The other groups had just as many of their leaders as members of the Israeli government.

Menachem Begin was a wanted terrorist and was the 6th PM

these leaders were responsible for killing women and children in "raids" on Palestinian villages, Druze and even Christian towns and villages.

And suddenly they were acceptable by western governments as leaders of Israel!

The double standard and the constant crying anti-Semitism if anyone mentions this has gotten old!

Israel has launched raid, kidnapped people in Gaza on multiple occasions and taken them to blackhole prisons, not 250 not 1200 but multiple thousands and not just from Gaza but also the West Bank!

It has sent hit squads into both Gaza and the West Bank, etc...

But I guess you support terrorism, right? Unless you don't support Israel's governments!

So do you support Israel's governments, past and present?

Let me remind you!

Israel was founded by terrorists, since then every Israeli government has violated multiple international laws, from political assignations in other countries, including using neutral countries fake passports to carry out those assassinations, bombing schools, hospitals, refugee camps in other countries, kidnapping and indefinite detention without trial, illegal occupation, illegal annexation of territory, violation of 28 UN resolutions, torture, etc...

Arabs? Occupiers?

You again don't like facts.

Facts:

Technically Palestinians and Druze are not "Arabs" différents DNA!

They are the legitimate indigenous people of the area as proven by DNA.

Druze DNA is 80% , Palestinians 70% native to the area going back thousands of years.

While Ashkenazi has 58% European DNA and less than 20% from the region.

Mitzvah have less than 50% DNA from the region and the majority from Persia, And the caucuses.

Sephardic Jews are less than 40% DNA from the region the rest Arab north African Sub-Saharan African.

The only "occupiers" come from outside the region and those are the people that came after the 1930s and 40s!

Only one problem with that. A large portion of those taken and kidnapped by Israel, especially in the West Bank. Our professors intellectuals none having done anything remotely linking them to terrorism, they're only crying. So what do you call bombing schools, hospitals and refugee camps in Lebanon?

Especially after international investigation into Israel's claims about attacks from these places found zero evidence to support Israel's claims.

Israel's claims about UNRWA in Gaza were investigated by an independent investigator, he asked Israel to provide the "evidence" they claimed to have and as usual Israel couldn't and didn't provide any supporting information it claimed it had!

Lest see!

21% of the population is non Jewish, they have less than 3% representation in the knesset!

The ICC had established that it had jurisdiction over Crimes committed in Palestine before the US got Khan appointed the Prosecutor, and the ICJ established that there was a case to be made that the Israeli regime was committing the ULTIMATE Crime Against Humanity, Genocide.

More revealing is the fact that the ones praising warrant against Putin and upset about Netanyahu are the ones refusing to join the ICJ, the ones claiming moral high ground and claim to follow international laws, but refuse to be subject of those international laws.

If Israel and the USA were truly following international law, then they have nothing to fear from the ICJ.

Israel has been at it since May 14, 1948 since it was created by the United Nations. Palestine and the long suffering Palestinians have received the brunt of this travesty.

90% of the population of the world have no clue the difference between a Jew and a non Jew and they don't care! Indians don't care Jew or non Jew , nor do Chinese, Japanese, most of Africa, they don't care because they see everyone outside their groups as the same.

You seem to think that the whole world cares or knows about Jews or what it is to be Jewish.

99% Japanese haven't a clue and don't care they are just another foreigner.

Any Japan isn't alone in this!

Where was the ICC when the US and it's allies invaded Iraq

The ICC doesn't adjudicate whether wars are legal. Otherwise Russia would have been in violation on Feb. 24th, 2022.

I'm glad they included Hamas in this warrant. So now they will finally investigate and discuss what exactly happened on Oct 7, and the reasons behind that attack.

But look up Israel attack on UNRWA, UN refugee camps, UN schools, hospitals etc..in Lebanon!

They've been doing this kind of thing for decades. Some might remember the 2006 attack by the IDF that killed 4 UN observers. At the time, Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, said "I am shocked and deeply distressed by the apparently deliberate targeting by Israeli Defense Forces of a United Nations observer post in southern Lebanon that has killed two United Nations military observers, with two more feared dead."

Kofi Annan also said "This coordinated artillery and aerial attack on a long established and clearly marked U.N. post at Khiyam occurred despite personal assurances given to me by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that U.N. positions would be spared Israeli fire."

They got away with it, they always have, and I suspect they will again...

Where was the ICC when the US and it's allies invaded Iraq and secretly overthrew Libya and several other countries?

There was a case brought to the ICC against the UK. IMO Tony Blair should have been tried as a war criminal.

Will never happen. Antisemitism at its fundamental core.

To some, antisemitism has come to mean any criticism of the Isreal period.

This is 'dismissive labelling': simplistically categorising any criticism as being against the entire group rather than recognising it as potentially constructive or specific feedback.

It's the same with the crowd who shout 'anti-Japanese' to any criticism of Japan.

Crticising Israel is antisemitic.

Criticising Netanyahu is antisemitic.

Criticising genocide is antisemitic.

According to the Zionists anything they don't like, anyone they don't like is antisemitic.

Bernie Sanders, a well-know American Jew, is antisemitic, The Jews who join pro-Palestine, anti-Zionist demonstrations are antisemitic.

In reality none of this is antisemitic. It is anti-Zionist.

Survivors, leaders of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, such as Marek Edelman, were critical of Zionism. I mention Marek Edelman, a leader of that uprising, as an example as he supported the Palestinians in their fight against Zionism and he wrote an open letter to Palestinians in support of their cause.

You do realize that technically Palestinians and Druze are semitic people, right?

It is a language group from the levant and middle east, includes those that speak Hebrew today (not the common language of the Jews back 2,000 years ago.

But includes Aramaic more likely spoken by Jews back then, Maltese, Tigrinya, Amharic, and modern day Arabic!

So by using your constant "anti-Semitic" you are also calling yourself anti-Semitic by your comments against Palestinians.

Many foolish claims made by the shills.

I'll just ask some simple questions

Why destroy fishing fleets that provide needed protein source for Palestinians.

Why destroy orchards ?

Why destroy water infrastructure and wells and desalination plants ?

Why destroy Mosques and Churches.

Why destroy schools and Universities and then loot antiquities from those places ?

Why destroy hospitals even when no Hamas "command and control centres " were found.

Why stop aid trucks bringing in food and medicines ?

So much more has Israel done.

The question of war crimes is yet to be decided but clearly a form of ethnic cleansing and destruction of people and culture has occurred.

No. That's the false logic that Netanyahu and his thugs try to spin.

Being anti-Netanyahu doesn't make a person antisemite.
