Good riddance, they should have nailed this guy October 8th. Highly doubt this will lead to any deescalation in Gaza, but Im totally up for being wrong.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the assassination but suspicion immediately fell on Israel, which has vowed to kill Haniyeh and other leaders of Hamas over the group’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people and saw some 250 others taken hostage.

The timing as retribution for the Golan Heights attack is also propitious.

It must have been in button down mode for a while.

Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran.

Excellent work Israel.

This is HUGE, HUGE news. For many reasons. The actual leader of Hamas, who celebrated the October 7th massacre from his exile, has been taken out...in Iran's capital city?? How safe do you feel, Ayatollahs, knowing that one of the most wily terrorists under your protection, inside Iran and out, has just been eliminated right under your noses?

This guy purportedly had stolen hundreds of millions, some say billions, of dollars off the "poor" Palestinian people he was supposedly "helping" through his terror and his tunnels. In the end, all that stolen money couldn't buy you a good enough hiding place, now, could it?

Israel IS dismantling Hamas, terrorist by terrorist, day after day, one by one. The "resistance" has lost, by their lights, a "giant" (even if he did spend over half his life cowering in terrorist-harboring capitals like Doha and Tehran. But hey...that's what terrorist "leaders" usually do!

Time to free the hostage and stop all this!

Wanted

Dead or Alive

Not many people disappointed.

It truly is amazing how much mayhem and violence a militarized state can unleash on the world when it recognizes no legal boundaries and cares nothing for "collateral" innocent deaths.

So this Hamas "leader" was hiding away like a coward, seeking refuge in Iran, while the Palestinian men and women are home at the coalface. Some "leader". Good riddance to him.

No mention in this article that first they killed his children and wiped out his family. The war criminals are on a roll, but history will have a place in hell for the assassins of women and children. The future looks very dark for Gaza where international law went to die.

So once again another brutal assassination reminds the world that the Israelis have the right to defend themselves, but the Gazans don't, just as the Jews of Europe didn't. As the famous old Serbian saying has it: "the wolf has the right to the lamb", which describes to a tee today's lawless international order of impunity for a select few that the "democracies" have now inflicted on us all.

So once again another brutal assassination...

Yes, not sure why it’s so wrong to feel elated that a terrorist was killed? Should I say, that’s wrong? No, absolutely not, never apologize or be sympathetic towards terrorist, nothing wrong with saying that.

No one is saying that, calm down, but Israel is going to seal this through until all threats against it are neutralized. War is is ugly and bad, but Oct 7 was the final straw and Israel will make sure the threats against it are extremely minimized going forward.

Dude, Israel is getting attacked from all sides. Why aren't all these Gaza defenders that support Hamas taking in these destitute Palestinians? I'll tell you why. Because countries like Iran want Israel wiped off the map and they don't care if Palestine becomes fodder as long as the end goal is achieved.

Israel, you keep up the good fight!

A big hit but highly dangerous at this period. Hamas could kill all the hostages. Iran will react to this. They had already killed his family.

One down FOUR more to go.

The ICC placed 3 Hams, and 2 Israeli leaders on it's wanted list

Counterterrorism used to be hard work until the terrorists began using cell phones. I guess Haniyeh though he'd be safe in Teheran. That proved a fatal mistake.

Who's the bigger terrorist, Haniyeh or Netanyahu? The majority of the world refuses to be gaslit and knows it's no contest.

Have a quick trip to Hell. Say hi to Saddam for us.
