Hamas on Sunday called for an "escalation in the resistance" against Israel
Oh, that is going to work out real good.
Aly Rustom
Netanyahu is desperate to keep the conflict going.
NB
The healing of the deeply wounded Middle East entails the fulfillment of the following elements:
1) An Arabic Palestinian state should be established next to the state of Israel.
2) Israel should continue its principal mission of serving as a refuge for Jews and for Judaism, but also continue serving as a home for Jews, Arabs, and various other ethnic groups.
3) The borders, and all other arrangements, should be derived from the needs of the peoples on the land. These needs are related to security, connectivity, space for agriculture, space for housing, space for industry, and sentiments towards the land.
4) The Palestinian Arabs (who arrived to the land in the framework of the Muslim conquest of the entire Middle East at the 7th century AD) must renounce their false consciousness of being THE indigenous people and the exclusive "home owner" of the land.
5) The homeless people of Gaza should find temporary refuge at a hospitable place, until their homes are rebuilt (in a better and more modern fashion).
Failure to implement any of the above elements would incur further death, destruction, suffering and misery at a cataclysmic scale.

Foregoing resistance is working out real good too. 2022 had the highest number of Palestinian casualties in the West Bank since 2005. Land theft and Illegal Israeli colony construction in the West is the highest it's ever been in the entire history of the conflict.
Israel won't end it's own occupation, U.S. support is unconditional and international law ineffectual so that leaves the Palestinians with a bit of a quandry. "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" as they say.

The next person to throw out the "Jihadists in Palestine " label should read who makes up the ruling coalition in Israels Knesset.
Right wing , religious extremists, zionists and similar are the parties supporting Likud, itself a right wing party.
Little to no middle ground in that lot.
No change of Govt....no change on the ground for Palestine.
Next Israeli election in October next year.
I am wondering if some voters, parties in the ruling coalition , even Netanyahu himself, see the indictment on war crimes issue as a perverse badge of honour.
That nation is sick.

NB, Points 1-3 sound good. 4 and 5 throw up some red flags.
I've edited point 4 to offer the Palestinian perpsective.
4) The European Jews (who arrived to the land in the framework of the Zionist project at the end of the 20th century AD) must renounce their false consciousness of being THE "ancestral" people and the exclusive "home owner" of the land.
Point 5 sounds like you think the people of Gaza should leave Gaza to allow for reconstruction. Kind of a tough sell for a people who were displaced twice by the Jewish state in 1948 and 1967 and still undergo daily displacement in the illegally occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. History record shows that when Israel removes Palestinians from their homes they are not allowed back.

Capuchin...no right of return for Palestinian refugees....come on down for any Jew world wide.
Sounds a little unfair and unbalanced.

Israel doing what it does best, Death and Destruction as usual.
Zionism Sucks.
There will be peace in the middles east if and when Zionism ends.

Watch this report about Jews denouncing Zionism. Jews wont nothing to do with Bibi and his gangsters.

Netanyahu just arriving in Washington to meet with POTUS.
Both sides still pushing the "Palestinians out of Gaza " plan.
Trump digging his heels in despite Arab nations rejection of plan.
"They will accept it " he predicts...

Israel has the right to protect itself and dismantling these terrorist sites is part of their national security.
Time for the Arabs to move out of Gaza and back to their homelands in Jordan, Egypt, and Syria, if they want peace.
There is no more tolerance for a terrorist organization occupying Gaza, and Trump's plan to cleanse that are is going to be implemented sooner than later.
GuruMick
Iknowall....your statement rings a history bell...Germany 1937 or thereabouts.
"Cleanse " has an Orwellian tone.
Palestinians dont have or deserve any rights .
BTW...the story details IDF operation in West Bank, not Gaza.
iknowall
Thanks. I was looking at this from the story:
Israel regards the West Bank as one part of a multi-front war against Iranian-backed groups established around its borders, from Gaza to Lebanon and including the Houthis in Yemen, and it turned its attention to the area immediately after the halt to fighting in Gaza.

Here we are again with the Netanyahu's daily propaganda, void of any historical knowledge about the conflict.
About West Bank, according to the Israeli anti-settlement group, Peace Now, in 2024 settlers also established 59 new outposts, without authorization from the Israeli government. That was more than double the number from the previous year – which was also a record year for settlement outpost establishment.
Israel has built about 160 settlements housing some 700,000 Jews since it occupied the West Bank in the 1967 Middle East war. The settlements are considered illegal under international law,
The war in the Middle East did not start on the 7th of October 2023.
What Israel IDF did is a “blight on the conscience of humanity.”
GuruMick
Fos..."here we go again " is the defining Israeli motif...will finish with "But God promised us this land " at the end.

We already know that:
1) if you write something against Israel, they will come right back at you and try to delegitimize your opinions, regardless of the truth. That is a certainty.
2) if you don’t say anything, pretend like nothing happened despite your beliefs against their policies, you are still allowed to work in the media business (a clear example was Tucker Carlson debate online over the weekend with Piers Morgan, where the former would try to stay away from expressing opinions on Gaza)
3) What I don’t get it is when you follow their guidelines knowing that what they are doing is ethically and morally wrong from any standpoints. That I think is really the worse of all crimes
NB
The Palestinian Arabs continue to refuse to any solution. They continue to insist on only one thing: Committing genocide to Israel. They will bear the price.
Fos
Israel's crimes in Gaza, Lebanon and part of the Middle East are a “blight on the conscience of humanity.” So is the sponsor of US administration.
The people who support the mass killings of IDF do not have any knowledge of history of the conflict, no moral ground, and they are only driven by the greed as we know quite well by now.
