Netanyahu fears peace and the trials to come for him personally and the various commissions of enquiry that will examine Oct 7.

Indiscriminate genocide, even rescue workers and journalist? That's what happened when a country got a genocide get out of jail free pass, or in this case sanction free pass.
Tamarama
Yep, you gotta kill them journalists and rescue workers, as well as all the kids and Mums and Grandads and Grandmas in Gaza.
Just to be sure.

From Times of Israel
IDF will move all 2 million Gazan people into 3 small areas which make up about 25% of existing Gaza.
Readers comment below the story..."Kill them all "...The Gazans that is.
People outside Israel in the rest of the world, particularly political "leadership " in the west, seem unable to see the rottenness at the heart of the Israeli state.....a rottenness emanating from Israeli people.
How could it be otherwise ?
Decades of a humiliating blockade against Gaza, decades of military invasions by the IDF into Gaza, decades of willfully ignoring the Israeli caused suffering in Gaza while Israeli people play "citizens of the world " with overseas travel, study, work....and at home in Israel, go about nice middle class lives with shopping , dining out and meeting friends.
All the while, 2 hours drive from Tel Aviv is a crime against humanity.
These events do not happen in a vacuum, they happen with human agency, human choices, human indifference.
This is the Israeli people we see now.

I personally believe this is the beginning of the end of Israel.

Yesterday Hamas fired a missile into Israel. This war is starting to resemble Uncle Remus' fable of B'rer Rabbit and the Tar Baby.

Israelis are the modern day successors to the Nazis.
Genocide is what they believe in at their very core.

So what does Pres. Trumps has to say about Gaza killings after he got his Air Force One and Trillions of $ from Gazans cousins in the gulf???

Any day now the UN will step in and enforce the June 1967 borders. Any day now.

I am saddened to have to come out of the theoretical and into the reality.
Even if, the US supplied bombs, as do many EU nations and UK, even if tech. companies supplies the means to identify targets at the rate of one hundred a day plus , even if neighbouring countries just stand by, as they do....
It is the Israeli people that are committing this genocide.
Yes, they have many enablers, but it is the people of Israel who stand by and applaud the deaths of tens of thousands of infants, greater numbers of women and non combatants, it it the Israeli people who elect these fascists to the Knesset, the Israeli people who run eagerly to join the IDF and join in the killing.
I am reminded of those terrible massacres in tribal Africa where hundreds of thousands were murdered with axes and machetes.
Israel has an equivalent blood lust.
How can Israeli people be considered even civilised ?
masterblaster
This would have never of happened if Hamas didn't start the war. And if the UN didn't help Hamas.
How can Hamas and Hames enablers be considered civilized?

Israel is a genocidal state.
82% of Israeli Jews support the forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza.
70% of secular Israeli Jews support the expulsion.
56% of Israeli Jews support the expulsion of Palestinian citizens of Israel.
47% of Israeli Jews support the Israeli army wiping out an enemy city’s entire population

You would hope but not until the U.S. stops vetoing every U.N. resolution critical of Israel and arming it with near limitless numbers of weapons and bombs.
There will only be peace when Israel has no choice but to deal with its neighbours diplomatically. When it lacks the means and support to enforce its decades long illegal occupation and annexation of Palestinian land.
Capuchin
Hamas wouldn't exist without Israel's illegal occupation. What was Israel's excuse for the 2 decades of occupation before Hamas was formed?

Proportionality of response is an article of the UN Convention on Warfare.Using hunger as a weapon of war has seen Netanyahu indicted as a war criminal
2/ The was a siege and blockade on Gaza for decades reducing the calorific content of food to just enough to survive. A Turkish manned vessel bringing food aid to Gaza was attacked by Israeli forces who boarded the vessel and killed 9 people.
3/ Israel routinely attacked Gaza with air force and tanks and ground forces in the decades before Oct 7., killing tens of thousands, mostly kids and women.
ALL THIS HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED
But still, everyday here, people write "Hamas started it so they deserve to be annihilated.
Please get some background facts to this conflict.

An Israeli Journalist wrote about Mr. B. Smotrich,
"" He is the only Honest Zionist in this Israeli Government, because he is telling the world Exactly what Israel's plans for Gaza and the west bank are, NO Lies and NO Sugar coated words unlike Bibi who Lies and Twist his words in order to keep his government from falling a apart.""

Israel was helping Hamas too, in order to weaken the Palestinian Authority. Did you know that?
Instead of deflecting can you answer the question?
Nathaw
Where and when did Hamas start the Militia movement?
There was no Hamas until 1980s. PLO has existed since early 1960s. For years, the various governments led by Benjamin Netanyahu took an approach that divided power between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank — bringing Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to his knees while making moves that propped up the Hamas terror group.
"The idea was to prevent Abbas — or anyone else in the Palestinian Authority’s West Bank government — from advancing toward the establishment of a Palestinian state".
Thus, amid this bid to impair Abbas, Hamas was upgraded from a mere terror group to an organization with which Israel held indirect negotiations via Egypt, and one that was allowed to receive infusions of cash from abroad.
"Most of the time, Israeli policy was to treat the Palestinian Authority as a burden and Hamas as an asset. Far-right MK Bezalel Smotrich, now the finance minister in the hardline government and leader of the Religious Zionism party, said so himself in 2015".
According to various reports, Netanyahu made a similar point at a Likud faction meeting in early 2019, when he was quoted as saying that those who oppose a Palestinian state should support the transfer of funds to Gaza, because maintaining the separation between the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza would prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Bolstered by this policy, Hamas grew stronger and stronger until Saturday, Israel’s “Pearl Harbor,” the bloodiest day in its history — when terrorists crossed the border, slaughtered hundreds of Israelis and kidnapped an unknown number under the cover of thousands of rockets fired at towns throughout the country’s south and center.

Israel has always thrived being in a constant state of war and playing the victim card.
This has been going on, this time around since 1948 and will not stop until completes its ethnic cleansing program in the process of creating Greater Israel (Zion).

"We will deploy every tool at our disposal to bring the hostages home, dismantle Hamas and dismantle its rule," Zamir was cited as saying.
Who still falls for Netanyahu's concern for the lives of hostages? Human life means nothing to him and his allies. If it were really about "hostages" (some were soldiers), all could have been released safe and unharmed within weeks of negotiations for the release of THOUSANDS (unmentionable in MSM) of Palestinians held without charge in Israeli prison camps and then followed up by the ending of the illegal Israeli occupation and the creation of a sovereign state for the displaced population of Gaza and the West Bank. But no. All this slaughter has been their transparent Final Solution to realize the zionist dream of a "Greater Israel" after driving the indigenous inhabitants off their lands. To achieve all this the tools in their box are genocide, sadistic cruelty, inhumanity, weapons from the West and cover for their propaganda by politicians and MSM which cleaves to the mendacious narrative of hasbara.

As trump is allowing this and the terrorist still keep the hostages, I see no end soon... sadly.
u_s__reamer
Trump has now become the Enabler-in-Chief of the slaughter of Palestinians. To paraphrase from his favorite book, "what will it profit a man if he gains the presidency twice and loses his soul?" He will indeed pay a big, beautiful price for his bloated ambition.

@GuruMick
1) Hamas is a terrorist organization. The U.N. doesn't apply to a terrorist organization.
2) The UN itself is corrupt and not a respectable international body.
3) Prior to this war Gaza had received millions upon millions of dollars in aid. The Hamas leadership has kept most of it for their own benefit. Hamas doesn't care about the average citizen living in Gaza.
4) Hamas as a political party has one main goal: Destroy Israel. This cannot be an acceptable political goal from any political party.
5) The other Arab nations also dislike Hamas. That is why almost no Arab nation has allowed refugees to enter their country.
Using hunger as a weapon is inexcusable, cruel and inhumane. The children in Gaza are suffering because of the adults. But as we know, when aid is brought in, Hamas leadership controls what is done with it. Before this was Hamas has controlled all the aid. This is why the leaders are rich.
6) Hamas uses hospitals and schools and mosques to store weapons and hide Hamas soldiers.
Not only do I have background info on this conflict but I have first hand experience (not with the current war). I lived in Haifa, Israel for two years.
@Simon Foston
Just like America was giving money to Afghan warlords to help fight the Taliban. America didn't support the warlords, it just need their help.
Just like IRA members were helping the British government.
The IRA members didn't support the British Government, these members had their own priorities.
Sometimes in a war or a perpetual conflict you temporarily support the group you least hate in order to fight the group you most hate.
