"I am the only Presidential Candidate in History to be GAGGED”

No previous Presidential candidates have found themselves in this situation because no previous Presidential candidates have been in court charged with multiple felonies. It’s not rocket science.

16 ( +16 / -0 )

Should have just started at a day in jail and gone up from there.

13 ( +15 / -2 )

In a written order, Justice Juan Merchan said the fine may not be enough to serve as a deterrent for the wealthy businessman-turned-politician and lamented he did not have the authority to impose a higher penalty.

Seems like a defect and artifact of the two-tier American injustice system favoring the wealthy.

There should be a progressive sliding scale of fines so that wealthy defendants like Trump cannot ignore the force of the law.

"I am the only Presidential Candidate in History to be GAGGED. This whole 'Trial' is RIGGED,"

Cue another debate about the 1st Amendment and its limits. With lots of "whatabout the left?"s. And "bias" judge.

Ain't to many women gonna give you some, and lie about, their motive may be money and fame, but they did the dirty with Trump

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

If it was you or me, we’d have gone to jail by now for what Trump has done.

Too big to fail, and a glaring double standard.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Parking tickets.

Pecker admitted he had a non-prosecution agreement. Notes from his lawyers and read aloud in court contradicted much of the case.

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

Trump knows his fate has already been sealed legally, the say his lawyer sealed Trump fate ,when he denied the affair, when these testify about their affairs with Trump, that will be the cherry on to of the cake

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Pecker admitted he had a non-prosecution agreement.

He didn't admit to anything. This has been public knowledge for some time now. This kind of agreements is quite common.

Notes from his lawyers and read aloud in court contradicted much of the case.

Which parts were contradicted?

10 ( +10 / -0 )

He should stick to tweeting all caps about the lack of protesters outside the courtroom. Maybe someone will show up.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Mr. Trump hasn't learned yet to speak to a judge only when permitted .

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Biased judge was crying he is not allowed to fine Trump more. Pathetic.

-14 ( +0 / -14 )

Pathetic.

Not as pathetic as the folks still defending the biggest crook to ever disgrace the whitehouse.

Was Trump able to stay awake in court today?

Looks like one of his loving family members finally made it to court :)

8 ( +8 / -0 )

I notice you don’t mention anything about an actual crime being identified as being done by Trump.

Still isn’t one.

-14 ( +0 / -14 )

I notice you don’t mention anything about an actual crime being identified as being done by Trump.

We've been through this time and time again: You can't falsify business records to hide other crimes.

Still isn’t one

Yet all the judges, lawyers, and even the grand jury disagree with you. I know who I believe.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

You can't falsify business records to hide other crimes.

you can if you didn’t do it, an accountant did,

and if the statute of limitations on this misdemeanor has expired, it’s over.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

you can if you didn’t do it, an accountant did,

huh? You can if you didn't? This is nonsense. He did violate campaign finance laws and he used doctored to documents to conceal that fact.

and if the statute of limitations on this misdemeanor has expired, it’s over.

Again, that's not what all the judges, lawyers, and even the grand jury found. I know who I believe. :)

9 ( +9 / -0 )

He did violate campaign finance laws

can you point me to that charge in the indictments?

(hint: he wasn’t even charged with that)

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

Cue another debate about the 1st Amendment and its limits. With lots of "whatabout the left?"s. And "bias" judge.

All true, evolving?

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

can you point me to that charge in the indictments?

That was the underlying crime which made it a felony to tamper with the business documents.

Please keep it up, clearly Trump fans know more than all the judges that reviewed the case, as well as the lawyers, and the grand jury. I'm sure there's no actual crime committed, because that's what Trump fans tell me. ;)

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Just another stop of the Trump Traveling Circus!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

That was the underlying crime which made it a felony to tamper with the business documents.

so much underlying they didn’t even bother to indict for it in any of the 34 charges. I see.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

I see lots of accusations, sure.

but see no evidence of crimes that are not misdemeanors or expired already.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

Well Trump is now a legally adjudicated criminal. If he were not getting special treatment, he would be in jail for any one of the other three trials he is on, for breaking the terms of his release, by committing crimes in other districts.

But he's getting special treatment, so even though Criminal Trump should be in jail tomrrow, Criminal Trump is rich and will be golfi... err, campaigning.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

so much underlying they didn’t even bother to indict for it in any of the 34 charges. I see.

Well the statute of limitations and all.

but see no evidence of crimes that are not misdemeanors or expired already.

Yes, because as a Trump backer your consideration of the facts of the alleged crime start and stop at, "I like Trump." That's it. You see no evidence, because you refuse to look at the evidence. Plent of evidence has already been presented and still more is to come.

34 felony charges of running stop lights 8 years ago.

why is this a felony? Isn’t the time limit expired for this?

cause the underlying crime is he robbed a bank, that why he ran the stop lights!

So…where’s the indictment charging bank robbery? Or was this person already convicted of this separate crime??

well we can’t prove that he robbed a bank, so the grand jury didn’t even indict it. But the stop lights 8 years ago! Underlying crime! Reeeeee!

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

why is this a felony?

The answer is publicly available. If you want to remain angry because you are too afraid to see the answer to your question, that could be solved with a 30 second google, that's on you. Don't expect the rest of us to care one whit.

Isn’t the time limit expired for this?

This hypothetical scenario you've made up in the hypothetical legal system you've made up sure seems to have you frustrated. Hypothetically.

Bingo!

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

Well Trump is now a legally adjudicated criminal.

Utter lib nonsense. Lol

No, he was found guilty of a crime this morning.

Once again you're claiming something that happened in the real world of law and order, is nonsense. That say something about you.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Correction, none of these frivolous charges would be brought up if it were anyone else.

He was found guilty of a crime this morning. These are not charges, they are a crime he is guilty of. Criminal Trump.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

34 felony charges of running stop lights 8 years ago.

Running a stop light? lol Falsifying business records to conceal illegal campaign payments isn't anywhere the same level as "running a red light." Tough on crime Republicans, everyone.

well we can’t prove that he robbed a bank, so the grand jury didn’t even indict it. But the stop lights 8 years ago! Underlying crime! Reeeeee!

Reee all you want, but the judges, lawyers, and grand jury all disagree with you.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

No, he was found guilty of a crime this morning.

What crime? Not bowing down to his political persecutors, if I were him not only would I pay the fine. I’d ball it up and throw it at them.

Once again you're claiming something that happened in the real world of law and order,

Law and order you say…. how about the district attorneys like brag go out and do something like arrest real criminals that are causing real crimes guys punching women in the faces for being the wrong color, pushing people on subway trains, thugs running the streets having sex in the streets attacking and killing cops, for some reason, he’s incognito when it comes to those crimes and law and order.

is nonsense. That say something about you.

Yes, it does. We see through this political sham.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

No, he was found guilty of a crime this morning.

What crime?

Criminal contempt of court.

This is publicly available information outside MAGA media. You look kind of silly for commenting on an article when you need to ask us the details of what actually happened. Anything else you'd like me to educate you on son?

Law and order you say

Yes. All in court. Literally the definition of law and order.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

The GOP used to be the party of Law and order. Now, the head honcho has 89 criminal charges and four court cases.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Their nominee is a legally adjudicated criminal, a legally adjudicated sexual abuser, and a legally adjudicated fraudster, who heads up a legally adjudicated fraudulent organization.

Winning. So much winning...

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Criminal contempt of court.

They dug real deep for that one.

It was in a court of law. There's no need to dig deep, it's been criminally adjudicated by the person who literally judges whether it's a crime or not.

Law and order really bothers the so-called party of law and order.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

The GOP used to be the party of Law and order.

Used to be, still are. That is the reason why people are moving to red states, that is the reason why the private schools are better, that is the reason why they’re not tolerating all these college outbursts. That’s the reason why they want to impose the death penalty for repeat offenders, that is a reason why they want a sovereign border, that’s the reason why they want to send back illegals, that is the reason why they support the police 100% and police support Trump and the Republicans 100%, so nothing has changed, not sure what you’re talking about

Now, the head honcho has 89 criminal charges and four court cases.

Yeah, we know, we know..ROFL!

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

It was in a court of law.

In NYC which equates to a joke.

There's no need to dig deep,

Dems always dig deep.

it's been criminally adjudicated by the person who literally judges whether it's a crime or not.

Uh-huh…

Law and order really bothers the so-called party of law and order.

It actually wouldn’t, if the district attorney of that state would prosecute crime, but he’s going after Trump, but the city spiling out of control and he doesn’t give two rats, you know what about it, this is another reason why this is another sham and failed attempt at trying to get this former president, and they don’t know that they are helping him. Even James Carville sees what’s happening and is telling Democrats to stop all this nonsense.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

One tier of justice. Jail him.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If Trump didn't want to be in court, he probably shouldn't have committed all his crimes.

This is on him. The Republicans can be angry about it, and no one who matters cares.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

The sheer amount of delusion the Trumpeteers have to live in to deny reality. I say this about a lot of things when people try to immerse themselves in delusional ideals and perspectives, "REALITY ALWAYS WINS."

The rich kid gloves need to come off for Trump. He violates the orders, he gets put in jail.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If Trump didn't want to be in court, he probably shouldn't have committed all his crimes.

So everyone who goes to court on false charges has already committed crimes??

didn’t you leave out the innocent until proven guilty part? Don’t they have that in your home country?

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

bass4funk

The GOP used to be the party of Law and order.

Used to be, still are. That is the reason why people are moving to red states, that is the reason why the private schools are better, that is the reason why they’re not tolerating all these college outbursts.

So the GOP solution is to send their children to private schools but provide no solutions for the working people who voted for them.

Overall, 53.9 million K–12 students were enrolled in public and private schools in fall 2019. Of these students, 9 percent were enrolled in private schools, and the remaining 91 percent were enrolled in public schools.

That’s the reason why they want to impose the death penalty for repeat offenders, that is a reason why they want a sovereign border,

The GOP wants to execute people for more crimes than murder?

that’s the reason why they want to send back illegals, that is the reason why they support the police 100% and police support Trump and the Republicans 100%, so nothing has changed, not sure what you’re talking about

Crime rate decreased under Biden.

"My Administration is making it a reality. This week, the FBI released data showing that crime declined across nearly every category in 2023. Last year, we also had one of the lowest rates of all violent crime in more than 50 years and the murder rate saw the sharpest decrease in history."

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2024/03/19/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-record-decrease-in-crime-in-2023/#:~:text=My%20Administration%20is%20making%20it,the%20sharpest%20decrease%20in%20history.

Now, the head honcho has 89 criminal charges and four court cases.

> Yeah, we know, we know..ROFL!

You only know when you go to Starbucks for the free wi-fi.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

So everyone who goes to court on false charges has already committed crimes??

You sound angry for someone who has been calling Biden a criminal when he hasn't ever been charged with anything, nor even had any evidence shown of a crime that didn't turn out to come from Kremlin fake news, spread by MAGA MSM...

Would you like to tell us your excuse for the differing standard of proof? Hmmm?

7 ( +7 / -0 )

The Republicans can be angry about it, and no one who matters cares.

That is until they empower and then they go after a democrat or previous president and the tables are turned

I don't see it happening. When SCOTUS declares all acts by president to be immune from prosecution, I expect Biden will have Trump executed, leaving Biden the only possible next president.
