Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

-1 ( +13 / -14 )

I am guessing 'no' but you have to go back some time to see an Israeli attack on Jordan.

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

From Article 2 of the United Nations Charter reads:

The Organization is based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all its Members.

All Members, in order to ensure to all of them the rights and benefits resulting from membership, shall fulfill in good faith the obligations assumed by them in accordance with the present Charter.

All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.

Israel flunks all three tests.

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

Israel should use whatever means necessary to eliminate these Islamic terrorists who have been shooting rockets daily into civilian populations in Israel since October 7.

-2 ( +14 / -16 )

the murderous terrorist wanted a fight and they got it.

no civilized people take hostages

until the terrorist groups are eliminated this should not end

1 ( +13 / -12 )

Oh oops... I forgot about the blatant hypocrisy that we are supposed to accept.

Yes Hamas and the murdering members love to follow international law

-2 ( +12 / -14 )

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

It seems like some people here forgot how this conflict started....

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t tried to invade Israel?

Or, that hasn't bombed or committed terrorist acts in Israel?

Or that has not expelled Palestinian Arabs from their country?

-6 ( +9 / -15 )

And the US has just given Israel another 8.7 billion dollars worth of arms to liven things up.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

@ dangobongg

It started with Nakba

@ dangobong

It started with Nakba

Yes,and continued ever since with Israel continually stealing other people's land.

Rules based order, Blinken et al.?

“If a temporary cease-fire becomes permanent, we will resign from the government,” said National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, head of the Jewish Power party.

If Ben-Gvir leaves the coalition, Netanyahu would lose his parliamentary majority and could see his government come toppling down, though opposition leaders have said they would offer support for a cease-fire deal.

There it is laid bare. This is why Netanyahu wants perpetual war. Don't kid yourself peeps. This is going to spread.

no civilized people take hostages - Dango bong

1000's of Palestinians including 100's of children held by Israel in "administrative detention", locked up indefinitely, without charge, trial or legal defense.

Then when Israel is done with them they dump the corpses by the truckload back to the Palestinians.

Not a civilized country for that and so many more reasons.

“I can’t speak for him,” Blinken said of Netanyahu.

But Netanyahu speaks for Blinken!

ICC arrest warrants now!

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

That's what it's there for. Israel is literally a massive Western military base in West Asia whose function is to crush and destabilize any attempts at sovereign development or pan-Arabic unity in the area. Apartheid-era South Africa fulfilled exactly the same role for the West in southern Africa. Ukraine is essentially a giant CIA base now, too. Empire proxies all.

3 ( +10 / -7 )

“"If a temporary cease-fire becomes permanent, we will resign from the government,” said National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, head of the Jewish Power party.""

Well that is what Israeli's and the rest of the world are hopping for, but this thug will NOT go easy.

The flag of this group says who and what they are. The Hezbolla flag is yellow, with green word Alla written in there form of Aribic (not interested in mid east languages so not sure what form it is) and on top of the name is a green I machine gun. That just says who, they are, what they support, and what they will do to achieve all of their goals.

Even in my home country as of late stabbings and other forms of terror have been rising given rise to parties like the AFD. Groups like Hezbolla are a cancer on its host country and plague to there neighbors.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Israel agreed to the creation of 2-states, but the Arabs rejected it---they wanted all the land--and since then 11 different Arab countries have attacked and tried to destroy Israel multiple times.

Guess which of those countries did not lose any of their land in those wars?

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

 hopes for a cease-fire

What is a cease-fire supposed to achieve other than a period of re-arming for Hizballah? The typical Western approach to this is so childish. It assumes that what you do not see does not exist.

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

Is there are a country bordering Israel that has not participated in a military attack on Israel or is hosting organizations that try to wipe out Israel? It is fascinating how many people assume the Middle East is just a random group of countries and Israels situation can be compared with, say, Switzerland.

Israel agreed to the creation of 2-states, but the Arabs rejected it-

Was that before or after the Jewish terrorist organisations started slaughtering Palestinians during the nakba??!!! Palestinians are in refugee camps for a reason...

Netanyahu cannot afford to lose three weeks out of his window to start a war that America will fight for him.

That window closes the day after the election, when all the American media will be obsessing over the results, the disputing of the results, the delay in some results and the reactions in America's cities to the results, making it hard to spin Israel's indiscriminate attacks into target ones, and the targeted responses to Netanyahu's crimes into indiscriminate attacks.

And if Iran has turned on all it's reserve weapons manufacturing capacity, they can literally exhaust the entire JSIP supply, and the American supply stored in Israel that Netanyahu has the keys for, and all the American supply on its bases and ships in the ME in a sustained wave and announce that every member of the armed wing of JSIP can abandon their weapons and wait to see if the ICC investigation results in charges, or die weapons in hand, while the political wing can choose to face ICC trials, or choose permanent exile and the loss of all assets, and running from ICC arrest warrants

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Sanjin; Palestinians are in camps for two reasons: 1, they were promised that they could return to their former homes in Israel once all the Jews were killed. 2. The 22 other Arab nations in the world do not want to offer them refuge or help.

Neither of those will come to pass. So, Israel decided to commit genocide. A strange kind of genocide that resulted in the population of Palestinians growing by 1000% since 1948.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

At this point, Israel has nothing to lose and everything to gain by carpet bombing southern Lebanon.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Only TWO requests for arrest warrants for Israelis (long time coming but we don't wonder why?) and ZERO requests for their numerous accomplices and enablers in the US, Germany and the UK, to mention just the most egregious of the violators of international law and all humanitarian principles and norms? The "lying eyes and ears" of the world see and hear things very differently than what the deeply complicit gaslighting Western MSM have been reporting before and after October 7.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Apartheid-era South Africa fulfilled exactly the same role for the West in southern Africa.

Ah, yes, post-apartheid South Africa is SO much better....(eye roll).

Genocidal zionist regime goes for the gas and oil fields from Gaza and Lebanon..

The flag of this group says who and what they are...

And the Star of David has morphed into a resurrected Swastika for the victims of Zionist racial terror aided and abetted by Germans on the wrong side of genocide again, for the 3rd time! As the song says, "When will they ever learn?"

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn’t been bombed by Israel?

The better question is : Is there any country bordering Israel that hasn't bombed Israel?

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Carpet bombing? Don't make me laugh.

Israel doesn't have the planes necessary to carpet bomb. It makes me think you don't know the meaning of the term. But you heard it from a hysterical anti-Semite so you decided to use it. Israel is targeting its strikes against terrorist leaders and terrorist weapons. Doing so in a way to minimize civilian casualties.

Unfortunately, the cowards of Hezbollah (and Hamas) choose to hide behind women and children. They choose to put weapons in schools, mosques, and basements of hospitals. Any civilian casualties are THEIR fault, not the IDF.

If Hezbollah wants a cease fire, then they should cease firing. Pretty simple. STOP firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel, and Israel will stop bombing your rockets.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

parties like the AFD.

Those parties are the only chance of survival for your country.

Yeah, Gaza is not Cambodia: "the most moral army in the world" just "mow the lawn" and ask AI "Where's Daddy?" to pierce all the "human shields", wiping out whole families across multiple generations. Israel, "the Home of the Brave" in the eyes of the willfully "blind".

No, they are in the camps because the Israelis forcefully drove them from their homes when they stole the land.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Kitty, your explanation is distressingly simplistic. The Palestinians living in Israel at the time of Israeli independence were, in some cases, kicked out. Others left voluntarily. They left and were kicked out because the Arab League started a war of genocide against Israel the day after Israel became independent. Five countries attacking one. Many Palestinians left at the request of the Arab League because they were promised they could claim the land from the Jews who were about to be slaughtered. THey were waiting to get the spoils of war.

Why they stayed in camps is also important. Their Arab brothers refused to grant them any status, give them aid, or allow them to emigrate to their countries. It was better for the Arabs to keep the Palestinians in camps as perpetual refugees than to offer them asylum and care. The Arab League has 500 million people, and an area 500 times the size of Israel. Surely they could help their brothers...

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Hello Kitty

Sanjin; Palestinians are in camps for two reasons: 1, they were promised that they could return to their former homes in Israel once all the Jews were killed. 2. The 22 other Arab nations in the world do not want to offer them refuge or help.

Do you realize at all that almost all residents in these "refugee camps" have been born there? Hardly anybody from original wars at Israels founding is still alive.

In context, this is the only group of people in the world that have a hereditary refugee status. For everybody else, a refugee is someone who actually flees from somewhere and not someone whose parents or grand parents are.

By this measure, I would be refugee. So would almost all of us, if we went back far enough in history.

The Arab countries where the camps are located, however, refuse citizenship to these people and instead refer to them as refugees, thus continuously increasing the refugee population.

From the PCHRGaza report dated October 3

This week, 3 IOF shootings were reported on agricultural lands in eastern Gaza Strip, while 7 shootings were reported on fishing boats off western Gaza shores

Since the beginning of 2023, IOF have made 142 families homeless, a total of 821 persons, including 180 women and 362 children. This was the outcome of IOF demolition of 152 houses; 39 were forcibly self-demolished by their owners and 14 were demolished on grounds of collective punishment. IOF also demolished 118 other civilian objects, razed other property, and delivered dozens of notices of demolition and cease-construction in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

And according to basically every international human rights group, there were about 10,000 Palestinians being held hostage, subjected to torture, rape, even death, inside Netanyahu's numerous holding facilities. Seeing as the 'trials', and often 'charges' were nonexistent, ridiculously unfair, even Kafkaist, and violations of the Geneva Conventions, calling them prisoners and jails would be a mockery of those words. Captives and hostages are the most accurate terms for the vast majority.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

There are thousands of Palestinian Arab criminals being held in jails. Murderers, terrorists so forth.

Looks so much like the Israeli PM wont be happy until he personally starts WWIII. He has no interest in peace, only forcing his view of the middle east on all around him, like it or not.

He is alienating Israel's normal allies who are all calling for peace a and cessation of hostilities. Hard line elements are keeping Netanyahu in power and thus safe from prosecution for his crimes, have him over a barrel and war will continue and grow as they target all who will not acquiesce to Israeli demands.

The Ripper!

The Jews ruled the land thousands of years ago.Jewish and Arab settlers were all expelled from Gaza duting WWI. The Jews were the first to return at the end of the war.

I never heard that WW1 impacted Gaza. Maybe you can give a source. In event, Israel completely withdrew from Gaza in 2005, removing all Jewish residents there, including those in villages that were actually older than the founding of Israel. Since 2005, Gaza has been 100% ethnic cleansed of Jews. So what is your point?

Israel and Lebanon agreed to territorial rights to gas fields in 2022.

You claimed that there is gas drilling in Gaza. Are you claiming that Gaza is in Lebanon??

It's time for the killing to stop. Well, not really, but this is the same nonsense you apply to Ukraine.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Are you saying that granting victory to Hamas ad Hizballah equals peace?

What are you talking about?? How does peace equal wining for Hezbollah or HAMAS? Israel has bombed Gaza back two centuries and attacked Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and is directly responsible for the deaths of 10's of thousands civilians in response to HAMAS attack that killed about 1200 innocent people. If you think it is victory for those destroyed by Israel then I question your sanity.

Enough is enough. Escalation will not help save lives but a cease fire and negotiations will. Israel must leave Gaza and West bank territory taken since last year.

Hamas has not surrendered and is still holding hostages. Hamas can end the war at any time by surrendering and releasing the hostages. If Israel unilaterally withdraws from Gaza now, Hamas celebrates victory. In what universe do you consider that "peace"? That was my question.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Israel has bombed Gaza back two centuries and attacked Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and is directly responsible for the deaths of 10's of thousands civilians in response to HAMAS attack that killed about 1200 innocent people.

Hamas put Gaza back two centuries already.

Israel has been defending itself from attacks by Lebanon, Iran, and Syria (and Yemen). Not the other way around.

Hamas is responsible for any civilian deaths in Gaza.

Hamas attacked innocent civilians in Israel, and obviously Israel, as a country, has a right to defend itself and has the duty to protect its people in the future so of course it will do what it needs, and that does not mean stopping its self-defense measures after killing the same number of Islamic terrorists as Israel civilians who were murdered.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

The Ripper!

The Ottoman Empire booted everyone in WWI. Jews resettled in Gaza in 1920.

The Ottoman Empire is long gone, and today, Israel has not stated any claims to Gaza. What the Israeli government wants is regime change in Gaza (thinking that the PA would be much different from Hamas, which I incidentally doubt).

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

It started with Nakba

LOL you mean the time where 5 Arab nations tried to destroy a nascent Israel, told all arabs present to leave so they could slaughter all the jews present, and then UTTERLY FAILED to do so? That nakba? Keep proselytizing for Hamas and Hezbollah there buddy :)

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Taiwan

Ukraine can keep killing Russians as long as they are nearby. Not a different situation just you on the other side of the genocide.

What is that even supposed to mean? Both sides are being killed in the regrettable Ukraine conflict (probably in the neighourhood of 100,000 on each side by now), but that is still not a "genocide". Do words not have meanings any more?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

For reference:

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

(Former PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein in an interview with Dutch newspaper Trouw )

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Hamas has not surrendered and is still holding hostages. Hamas can end the war at any time by surrendering and releasing the hostages.

Israel have already publically stated releasing the hostages will not end this, that Israel intends to continue until all of HAMAS is destroyed. An unobtainable goal.

If Israel unilaterally withdraws from Gaza now, Hamas celebrates victory. In what universe do you consider that "peace"? That was my question.

Hamas will claim victory, win or lose, as will Israel. This is a never ending conflict as both sides must accept the right to exist of the other, at the same time. No sign of that any time soon.

Right wing extremist Israel want Gaza for its beach front lands and the expansion of Israel. This has given them the opportunity to achieve that while displacing millions and killing tens of thousands, whole families that can never reclaim their land, will be taken by Israel. It must stop before it engulfs the middle east and leaves Israel a hated and detested country by tens of millions outside the middle east. Israel is digging its own grave by ignoring and alienating its few allies.

This man is a monster! Enough with the bloodshed!!

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Not content with the title the Butcher of Gaza, Netanyahu's just announced his intention to claim the title Butcher of Beirut right before he speaks at the UN.

Take careful note at who applauds him, because they are the enemies of humanity in both meanings of that word.

Sure,

Israel is not sustainable.

Growing diplomatic isolation.

Global calls for boycott.

Crumbling economy.

Internal messianic strive.

Wars on multiple fronts.

Israel is a pariah and apartheid state. The World sentiment is changing. Apartheid will never last.

Israel will die the moment the west stop supporting them.

Israel lacks natural resources and population to sustain a hostile environment from countries.

Most of the population are multinational and they will flee the country after sustained economic damage.
