His claim could not be independently confirmed.

But this is this weeks go to story from Ukraine. Anything to ignore the almost total collapse of the Ukrainian defenses in the Dombas. Why no mention of this? The Ukrainian military themselves will confirm it is true.

Maybe someone needs to keep up support for a failing war by hiding reality?

I believe the whole unit has just defected to Ukraine...

Maybe these Norks might consider defecting to someplace else in Europe. Kimmy's Kommie government sure doesn't kare for their welfare, he's using them.

A good opportunity and a fine fine day to defect and run.

In 2017, a North Korean soldier who made a frantic escape across the border – barely surviving multiple gunshot wounds from his own side – was found by the South Korean doctors who saved him to have a 27cm intestinal worm and a host of other parasites in his system. His stomach contents reflected a poor diet.

And this for a staff sergeant said to be from the relatively elite border guard. South Korean researchers in 2015 cited elevated rates of chronic hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis and parasites among North Korean defectors.

Check out the manspreading stance of Kim Jong Un in his "wet-look" black PVC jacket.

Kim is flanked by a bizarre collection of elderly North Korean troops that an increasingly desperate Putin needs as cannon fodder to continue his failed invasion attempt.

Could not be independently verified but declare it as gospel anyways. Must feel good.

Zelensky has built his own little war against a fictional enemy and declared victory.

This effort aims to generate attention and present it as a victory in light of the widespread setbacks on the front, where Ukrainian forces are withdrawing across various areas.

As the saying goes, they created a story and claimed victory.

The article even mentions UAF positions are "buckling" on the main line of contact.

Vuhledar is so last month type of stuff. Real hot potato at the moment is Kurakhove.

The above is easy to understand considering both sides connection to the Soviet Union where truths could often be dangers to the rulers, so the state suppressed them, and replaced them with alternative 'facts', and also made up places, for example Potemkin Village. Many Eastern Europeans have lived under some form of state control for so many years left over by Moscow led regimes, so 'evidence' is probably a meaningless term to them, and have given up trying to find truth knowing if they did accept truths, big brother would hurt them even more.

shelled in Ukraine probably still happier than in NK

"For the first time in generations, troops from East Asia are actively engaging in a European conflict."

Yes that is true.

Hundreds of thousands of South Korean troops did however fight on behalf of the US in Vietnam, however.

And South Vietnam. FTFY.

Well, that will convince the few that haven't already to surrender and a request asylum...

Waiting for the ones on here to deny the fact that North Korean troops are in Russia. Also the Americans denying that information, what do y'all gain from that anyways?

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Now let's pretend for a second that there is some credible evidence of NK special forces in Kursk:

Pyongyang’s fulfilment of its alliance obligations to Russia does not violate international law. The fact that the Kursk region belongs to Russia is not disputed by anyone in the world. Therefore, the deployment of the KPA in accordance with an interstate treaty on the legitimate territory of Russia can hardly be called an "escalation".

Seoul’s complaint that Russia is helping to arm North Korea is also hypocritical. The US is the main supplier of arms and equipment to Ukraine, thanks in large part to SK stockpiles. In particular, artillery shells from the SKA have been important aid for Washington to backfill Kyiv.

In such a situation, Moscow could hardly remain indifferent to military cooperation with the DPRK. It is obvious that the intensification of interaction between Russia and NK is a consequence of SK following White House policies - and the latter's policies in general since 2014.

On the contrary, it is Kyiv that is playing with fire (even though their claims are fanciful). Attacks on an allied partner on the territory of the Russian Federation will enable NK to take tougher measures against the offender, including direct military action.

That scum shouldn’t even be there.

Go back to N. Korea.

His claim could not be independently confirmed.

One question.

Why someones "feelings" are published as news here?

Serious media should publish verified info only right?

How about to inform us about UA force daily victories instead?

Maybe difficult as there are NONE?

Photo analysis:

Shout out to main photo - Fullback soaring off. These are mainly used for glide bomb deployments and almost certainly loaded up. It's got the distinctive 'Khibiny' ECM jamming pods on the wingtips. One of the heavy hitters that has really made life difficult for certain quarters.

1st photo: a range of UAF MRAP-style vehicles - can anyone name them?

2nd: looks to be a Bradley in the background too.

What a level of disguise the NK military has, if not a single clear photo has appeared so far :) Highest level! Much better than Ukr's level:) And the Ukrainians claim that they fired at them??? :)

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

We shouldn't be prejudiced. A dead soldier is a good thing, as long as it was Russian OR North Korean.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

I still doubt that there are actual NK frontline troops, but if the claim is true, so what? Nato personnel has been (with some thin veil of deniability) involved on the Zelenski side, so what is good for the goose is good for the ganther.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

1.3m but not all equally competent. Putin will want competent soldiers or no free oil. But North Koreans are rarely in the best of health. And it rather dents the narrative of glorious supremacy when the body bags start arriving back in NK. There are risks in this for Kim.

Putin is surviving largely due to the incompetence of the West (pumping up the price of Russian oil and sending limited amounts of often old kit) and poor tactics (no attacks on the Russian government in Moscow, limited success on command, control and mil infrastructure, and the default to trench warfare - the most costly warfare of all).

If there is no change in the White House, expect this to become ever more Orwellian and just rumble on for years.

Will there be a route to asylum in SK if large numbers of NK soldiers manage to get themselves captured? That will a novel problem for SK to deal with.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Not a single shed of evidence about NK combat action, as opposed to the involvement of US mercenaries and Secret agents for years now. And still no progress with peace negotiations. Only false accusations to exacerbate and prolong the conflict

In war, dying for YOUR country is a bad thing. Make the soldiers on the other side die for their country.

Like I mentioned before, this is a good opportunity for some Norks to defect. Strangers in a strange land already, what do they have to lose?

It is time to the Second World War winners to adopt what they had imposed to Japan, the Japanese Constitution that renounces war is Article 9. It states:

"Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes"

Russia has started this coward war and now is adding more countries in it, as North Korea, so Russia and Israel are promoting the Third World War by including more countries in the conflict, weapons and ammunition suppliers and extending battlefields to other countries.

Oops.. True but they were "officially" fighting on behalf of the South Vietnamese.

No country provides troops to another without its own self interest in mind.

You don't know this because you don't live in one, but free countries cannot hide their military dead, at least in any significant number.

76 days until the reveal of Trump's Ukraine strategy. I suspect there are things here that can tank even his reputation.

Instead of hiding in disbelief and shame people have still something to say about the "greatness" of America.

What 'reputation'? The USA will become a vassal to Russia again because of Putin's puppy who will be kissy-kissy up to Kimmy again.
