Happy birthday Mr. President!

What a pathetic display of mediocrity and laziness. Seriously, is that the army of the "most powerful" country in the world???...

It's a pathetic joke..

Compare this: look at the military parades of Russia and China. The US looks like a group of Boy Scouts walking through a forest full of fear and disorder..

Trump's birthday parade was a pathetic failure. Once again, Trump country will be the laughingstock of the world's social media..

"On Saturday, the U.S. Army turned 250 and President Donald Trump 79."

Wishing you a fantastic birthday President Trump and the commander in chief of the greatest Army in History.

Hey @TokyoLiving

That "mediocrity" is all that's standing between you and Xi Jinping being your daddy. Better talk nice about them.

250 years strong. Go Army!

Looks like a disappointing turnout.

Ah well. He can lie about the crowd size again, I suppose.

Maybe the MAGA patriots living in Japan should’ve flown home to attend. They claim to be very comfortably off.

Never mind.

Cepheus the greatest Army that lost in Nam,a war Trump was coward to serve and lost to caveman in Afghanistan, nobody hates the army, but people that think of them as sacrificial lamb for lost causes

4 ( +12 / -8 )

Will the MAGA posters condemn the violence of their comrade driving a car into a crowd of peaceful protesters? Or is attempted murder fine if it’s on Daddy’s birthday?

What a waste of time and money!

All of it wasted for the sake of massaging one man’s insatiable ego.

You eliminate a program to provide school lunches for poor & hungry children, yet you throw a birthday party for yourself which costs U.S. taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.

It’s obvious where his heart is, and it’s certainly not with the American children.

im sure Amazon is seeing a huge uptick in bulk purchases of American flags by leftist organizations faking patriotism.

Are you? It’s nice you take time to fret about such things as people buying flags. Is it a major concern?

China will likely throw a big military parade for the 80th anniversary of Resist Japan War (抗日戰爭) in August. We will then be able to compare and contrast.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

If you are going to use taxpayer money on a parade, you’d think it should be one a lot of people would be interested in. If you consider that it comes from an administration which is working hard on cutting waste, that makes it even worse.

The attendance looks extremely disappointing.

Must do better.

The upkeep and maintenance for Trump's bloated but fragile ego is costing taxpayers more than the felon's incarceration would have. And the final bill for his monarchial aspirations is far from settled.

Trump likes North Korean style events, he wants everyone singing and dancing on the street just likes the North Koreans praising their supreme leader during his birthday !

3 ( +8 / -5 )

When Trump leaves office at 82, he will become the oldest president to have served. Stumbled on the Air Force One plane when boarding it.

10 ( +13 / -3 )

This looks like an awful disappointment o terms of turnout.

Looks like there are far people more in individual cities protesting against this.

Not a good look.

Not a good birthday. Should’ve just got a McDonald’s and a Stormy DVD.

Pathetic spectacle of a weak and dysfunctional nation.

"Celebrating" a military that has started countless conflicts in the past 80 years and been humiliated in just about all of them.

13 ( +17 / -4 )

I'm sure that all of you who are serving, or ex, US military must be, let's just say, embarrassed by a draft-dodger throwing up a military salute.

11 ( +16 / -5 )

On the contrary the soldiers participating seemed thrilled to be there with the spectators enjoying it too, judging by the clapping and cheering.

As a proud Cold War veteran who served against the menace of Communism, totalitarianism, personality cults, dictatorships, and having witnessed criminal activity - incl. seeing a roommate court-martialed and sent to Leavenworth for incest molestation, and undergoing PTSD issues I won't mention here - I have to say this:

Cuss words, profanity, swearing, expletives and obscene language cannot even come remotely close to expressing the rage and disgust that I am feeling about this scenario.

Oh yes. You don’t need a big crowd to enjoy yourself.

Trump may not see it that way though.

He’s very concerned with crowd sizes.

Yeah, it doesn't compare to North Korea's, Russia's or other dictatorship countries, but hey, for a starter well done. Putin, Kim Jong, Erdogan and co are probably congratulating him for his first military parade, they probably have congratulated him for bring the army to stop the protests, a no brainer for any dictatorship right? Oh yeah, doesn't compare to Putin's use of force to crush any protest but he is learning fast, but don't worry, Putin and co are there to help and teach him how to proper make america a great dictatorship country...

13 ( +14 / -1 )

Saw clips of it. That was pretty pathetic. Even those in attendance, such as Marco Rubio, Kristy Noem, and even Trump himself seemed really bored and tired at moments during the parade. Lots of empty seats there. The most incredulous thing about it was that it was actually sponsored. Palantir, Coinbase, and Lockheed were among those that sponsored it. The Army shouldn't have any sponsors. There were more at the protests than at this costly event.

13 ( +13 / -0 )

Very cool! Looks like Russia and North Korea’s military parades, except the obese American soldiers that look sad and embarrassed to be there. Lol

Yet, in his Trump 2024 shirt, retired American Airlines pilot Larry Stallard. I call BS on this bloke being an airline pilot. You need at lease some intellect the fly a airliner

On Saturday, the U.S. Army turned 250 and President Donald Trump 79. The double birthday bash energized crowds of well-wishers and military families in the capital

They only got 5% of the expected crowds.

What a (costly) disaster.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

Wow, just watched the footage. Almost nobody showed up. Trump is pissed and threw his Diet Coke at little Eric.

So embarrassing. 36 million USD down the drain. most media coverage is on the anti trump protest which was in the 10s of millions across every city in the country.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

The sad irony of it all, is that the wasted 45 million dollars could have gone to the veterans who served, instead of having their funding slashed by DOGE.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

The North Koreans and the French do it better. Everything Trump touches turns to tawdry tat and a dumpster fire. "No Kings" are going for broke while "big, strong men with tears in their eyes" whine to "Sir".

17 ( +18 / -1 )

"Biggest parade ever ,....in the history of mankind....perhaps even the whole Universe "

Pathetic display of performative masculinity by the the sad orange draft dodger

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Following the Sean Spicer and Propaganda Barbie tradition of shameless lying, Steven Cheung claimed that 250,000 people attended it. He'd be lucky if it was one tenth of that.

'Masculinity'? As in 'manhood'? I think not!
