Those who grovel to Trump,or own by Trump

The US certainly should fund the rebuild of Gaza, seeing they have provided the weapons and political support to raze it to the ground - and should probably be facing an iInternational court of justice for doing so. The US has profited handsomely from the killing of over 61,000 people in Gaza, the vast majority of whom were women and children in their homes. They have actively backed a military campaign that has displaced 2.3 million people.

Think about that for a minute. Soak it in.

What other country in the world is doing anything even remotely close to being this evil and nefarious, anywhere?

No-one is the answer.

To then have an unhinged idiot for a President to not only completely, and callously dismiss that slaughter his country has facilitated, but double down by saying ’Now we will take that land’, is frankly incomprehensible.

This is an evil empire threatening to invade and take the land and lives of others in the same vein as many of the great tyranny of the past. It’s time for a coalition of other nations to act unilaterally and step in. There needs to be troops on the ground in Gaza that aren’t Israeli or US that have to protect the Palestinian people from those two rogue states. Where they come from, I’m not sure, maybe a combination of European and Middle Eastern forces. They need to be there for a long time and they need to split that part of the world into 2 separate countries; Palestine, and Israel.

I see Trump has said that achieving stability in the Middle East ‘is not a complex thing to do’. If he is stupid enough to actually attempt this, he is going to be in for a humbling.

Time to impeach him already?

3 ( +10 / -7 )

Stop talking Trump. Your understanding of the situation in the Middle East is simplistic at best.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

So, the Palestinians have absolutely no say in their future-doesn’t seem very democratic to me.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

If Germany can take in a million Syrians in one year, certainly Palestine's neighbors can accept all of its refugees. Come on, folks, let's work for regional peace.

-9 ( +4 / -13 )

King Abdullah was looking like, "jfc, why do I have to be next to this mental patient".

I think they would rather stick it to the US no matter the administration.

You seem to be under the impression anyone can tell the US what to do.

The US has profited handsomely from the killing of over 61,000 people in Gaza, the vast majority of whom were women and children in their homes.

Profited in what way?

They have actively backed a military campaign that has displaced 2.3 million people.

Think about that for a minute. Soak it in.

russia and russia has killed more.

Yes, Israel is our strongest ally in that region, the Palestinian want the Israelis dead, they want them to leave their homeland, they have kidnapped, tortured and murdered thousands of Israelis, we can go on about the atrocities the Arabs have committed against them as well. So I think we should help them to survive as a nation and to help them as an important ally.

No-one is the answer.

To then have an unhinged idiot for a President to not only completely, and callously dismiss that slaughter his country has facilitated, but double down by saying ’Now we will take that land’, is frankly incomprehensible.

You are looking at one side of the issue, ask yourself all this is happening. Hamas will never eradicate the Jews from their ancestral homeland, it will never happen.

This is an evil empire threatening to invade and take the land and lives of others in the same vein as many of the great tyranny of the past. It’s time for a coalition of other nations to act unilaterally and step in. Ok, tuck in the emotions and deal with reality, the Arabs don’t want the Palestinians in their country’s, they know how unstable they can be and what they’re capable of, they don’t want any part of it, but they will still criticize Israel all day long, no one has a solution, no one came up with any solutions, so like it or not, this is the best solution Trump came up with, or they can reject it and live in filth and disease and poverty.

I see Trump has said that achieving stability in the Middle East ‘is not a complex thing to do’. If he is stupid enough to actually attempt this, he is going to be in for a humbling.

Ok, so just leave the Palestinians in squalor and just ignore them, leave them to their fate.

Time to impeach him already?

That won’t happen, the Dems would need the House first and the way they’re acting, they won’t get it for a very long time.

Little surprise Jordan doesn't back taking in large numbers...

Jordan massacred tens of thousands of palestinians when palestinian terrorists tried to overthrow the country.

Indeed there is a stark pattern at play: Every country palestinians go to, sees violent revolution within a few years. This is followed by subsequent massacres and expulsion of the palestinians taken in

Palestinians have instigated revolutions in:

Jordan

Egypt

Lebanon

Kuwait

One can only pray that this time palestinians will not instigate revolution and try to live in peace.

Alas, training their children for martyrdom has predictable consequences (see Farfur the mouse - a palestinian childrens show teaching kids to become jihadists)

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

If Germany can take in a million Syrians in one year, certainly Palestine's neighbors can accept all of its refugees. Come on, folks, let's work for regional peace.

Exactly JeffLee

The problem is the constant instigation of revolution of course by the palestinian people

But for the sake of not being hypocrites, those arab states who pretend to love the palestinians should offer to take them in

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

So, the Palestinians have absolutely no say in their future-doesn’t seem very democratic to me.

Lol since when does democracy have ANYTHING to do with arab states in the middle east?

They are all ruled by kings and dictators.

Besides, the last time Gazan arabs were given the possibility of expressing themselves democratically, THEY ELECTED HAMAS

And they STILL support Hamas. If democratic elections were held today, gazan arabs would ELECT HAMAS

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

they need to split that part of the world into 2 separate countries; Palestine, and Israel.

Lol Tamarama, this was tried twice at least: the first time in the late 40s when the partition plan CREATED TRANSJORDAN, ie., present day JORDAN

Jordan IS the palestinian states: 2/3 of all of the original territory held by the British mandate

The second time of course was in 2005

You know, when Israel pulled ALL it's people out of Gaza and left the Gazan arabs free to hold elections and attempt statehood

OOPS!

They ELECTED HAMAS and STILL support Hamas even after the Oct 7 ATROCITIES.

SICKENING

I think the time to experiment with palestinian statehood is OVER

-2 ( +6 / -8 )

Jordan already has 3 million Palestinian refugees and could not support another 2 million from the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

3 ( +9 / -6 )

Lol Wallace, it ain't ethnic cleansing if they leave voluntarily from a WARZONE.

You know, like the way hundreds of millions of people have left warzones throughout human history.

Like the millions who have fled Ukraine most recently

Or the millions who fled Syria.

But yes, as you point out, Jordan won't take them (you left the part why: it's because palestinians instigate revolution wherever they migrate to)

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

bass4funk

Yes, Israel is our strongest ally in that region, the Palestinian want the Israelis dead,

No, they don’t.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

No, they don’t.

Years of Arafat and intifada’s as well as Oct. 7th tell a very different story

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

The US could take the 2 million Gaza Palestinians.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

No, they don’t.

You do realize that "from the river to the sea" means one thing:

ALL JEWS DEAD between the jordan river and the Mediterranean Sea

They state QUITE CLEARLY what they desire in their hearts more than anything.

They have rejected peace overtures one after the other because none involve the death of all jews and the reclamation of all of Israel

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

The US could take the 2 million Gaza Palestinians.

Fortunately, the US isn't foolish.

Hopefully they can pressure Egypt to take them into the Sinai.

But then again, Hamas and palestinians generally are STRONGLY ALLIED with the Mulsim Brotherhood, who has already overthrown Egypt at least once.

No wonder Egypt is massing tanks by the Gaza border.

The only practical solution is for gazan arabs to be taught to stop hating jews, as they have been miseducated to do for DECADES.

Sadly this is a pipe dream. Then again, the Japanese and the Germans were retrained after WWII, so who knows!

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Lol Wallace, it ain't ethnic cleansing if they leave voluntarily from a WARZONE.

The only way the Palestinians will leave Gaza is if they are forced out by US/Israel troops. That would be ethnic cleansing and the last time on that scale was the Jews in the Nazi era.

Eygpt will release a rebuilding plan for Gaza while the Palestinians remain.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

The Gaza Palestinians could be moved into the illegal Jewish settlements on the West Bank.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

The only way the Palestinians will leave Gaza is if they are forced out by US/Israel troops

Ah Wallace my friend, this would seemingly be disproven by the MILLIONS OF SYRIANS who voluntarily left Syria, not to mention the MILLIONS OF UKRAINIANS who voluntarily left Ukraine

You aren't even being asked to read a history book, lol, this is RECENT HISTORY

It turns out (shocking!) that when given the option, civilians LIKE to LEAVE active warzones, lol

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

The US certainly should fund the rebuild of Gaza

Are you crazy?

Hamas attacked Israel. They may not have expected the devastation they got, but that's their fault for starting a war.

The US didn't bomb anyone in Gaza and the US didn't start the war. Hamas did. Hamas should be destroyed, completely, and the people who helped them, can live where ever they can afford. That might be all rubble today. IF they didn't want rubble, then they should have stopped the war over a year ago.

When you start a war, there are repercussions that will last generations. That's the lesson here.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

The US could take the 2 million Gaza Palestinians.

We could, why not have the Arabs help their brethren? Same religious beliefs, similar culture…makes more sense.

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

bass4funk

Years of Arafat and intifada’s as well as Oct. 7th tell a very different story

Arafat is dead.

Billot

You do realize that "from the river to the sea" means one thing

You do realize that not all Palestinians use that phrase.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

The Gaza Palestinians could be moved into the illegal Jewish settlements on the West Bank.

Hardly illegal lol. That land was taken from Jordan when JORDAN LOST THE WAR of 67 (a war they STARTED lol)

You know, as land gets lost when a side loses in battle, as happens in ALL CONFLICTS around the world, for all of human history.

That said, Israel would LOVE to give it back to Jordan, but guess what?

Jordan doesn't WANT it back! Why you ask?

Because palestinians EXCEL at inciting revolution WHEREVER they go (including Jordan)

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Billot

The only way the Palestinians will leave Gaza is if they are forced out by US/Israel troops

Ah Wallace my friend, this would seemingly be disproven by the MILLIONS OF SYRIANS who voluntarily left Syria, not to mention the MILLIONS OF UKRAINIANS who voluntarily left Ukraine

No need to use capital letters does not help your comment. About 4 million Syrians left, about 3 million to Turkey, and 1 million to the EU—many of those hope to be able to return. About 5 million Ukrainians left for other European countries but also hope to return once the war is over.

Those refugees were not forced out of their countries.

The Palestinians cannot be forced out of Gaza. Live with it.

Trump does not care about those people his interest is real estate.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Arafat is dead.

Not the war against the Israelis

You do realize that not all Palestinians use that phrase.

But Hamas runs Gaza, Hamas is and has been waging war against the Israelis, where do they reside, were are the attacks coming from? Gaza.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Ah Underworld, Why on earth should gazan arabs get their own state when THEY VOLUNTARILY ELECTED HAMAS??

in other words: the ONE time they were given a chance to create a state, they CREATED A TERRORIST STATE

One which they STILL support!

Madness (is doing the same thing again and again and expecting something different, like offering peace to palestinians and expecting anything but relentless destruction)

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

The UN and the international community state the West Bank Jewish settlements are illegal.

"Since the occupation of the West Bank in 1967, numerous United Nations resolutions, including 446, 452, 465, 471 and 476 affirm unambiguously that Israel's occupation is illegal, and, since Resolution 446 adopted on 22 March 1979, have confirmed that its settlements there have no legal validity."

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Billot

Ah Underworld, Why on earth should gazan arabs get their own state when THEY VOLUNTARILY ELECTED HAMAS??

Elected. Past tense. It isn’t forever.

Just so that we are clear:

Hamas != Palestine

2 ( +5 / -3 )

many of those hope to be able to return

Lol wallace, you're getting ahead of yourself my friend!

Let's LET THEM LEAVE first, as you pointed out this has happened with millions already globally.

First END HAMAS

I can only hope (pray?) you feel the same and don't actually support Hamas

But, since you brought it up, why on earth should gazan arabs be allowed to return to a place from which they launched the Oct 7 massacre against Israel?

And YES: more than HALF of those who committed the Oct 7 atrocities were palestinian CIVILIANS

No surprise since they are taught to hate jews from birth (see Farfur the mouse teaching children to martyr themselves by killing jews). Those that didn't attack, SUPPORT Hamas.

NO ONE would let nighbors like that to continue living beside them.

It would be INSANITY to allow a people who HATE you to live beside you when all peace offerings were met with perpetrated atrocity

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

bass4funk

You do realize that not all Palestinians use that phrase.

But Hamas runs Gaza, Hamas is and has been waging war against the Israelis, where do they reside, were are the attacks coming from? Gaza

You said Palestinians want Israelis dead, not Hamas.

Hamas != Palestine

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

The UN and the international community state the West Bank Jewish settlements are illegal.

"Since the occupation of the West Bank in 1967, numerous United Nations resolutions, including 446, 452, 465, 471 and 476 affirm unambiguously that Israel's occupation is illegal, and, since Resolution 446 adopted on 22 March 1979, have confirmed that its settlements there have no legal validity."

Europe could take in and divide 2 million among the nations, they have the space and financial means.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Elected. Past tense. It isn’t forever.

Unfortunately for your ill considered argument, 75% of gazan arabs SUPPORT HAMAS today, even knowing the Oct 7 atrocities.

In other words, if elections were held AGAIN, they would elect Hamas AGAIN.

Sickening really

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Please do not get fixated on this one story. Take a break for awhile.

Netanyahu supported the 2006 Hamas elections and gave them $1 billion. Most of the current Palestinians are too young to have voted in those elections.

When the war is over Netanyahu will be out of office.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

The UN and the international community state

LOL, wallace, who (besides reddit and student protesters) give a rats behind about what the UN thinks???

They are the most corrupt international body in history (even moreso than FIFA: and that's saying something lol)

Their human rights council is led by dictatorships more often than not. It's simply a vox box for the corrupt and irrelevant.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Billiot

the Gaza Palestinians will not leave voluntarily.

I do not support Hamas.

Palestinians live in Israel.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

A fascist megalomaniac clown wants to treat the Palestinian people as merchandise..

2 ( +5 / -3 )

@Wallace

Jordan already has 3 million Palestinian refugees

More like 2.3 million. The vast majority of whom came as a direct result of two major wars that Jordan and its allies fought against Israel in an attempt to destroy it.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Bass4funk

Yes, Israel is our strongest ally in that region, the Palestinian want the Israelis dead, they want them to leave their homeland, they have kidnapped, tortured and murdered thousands of Israelis, we can go on about the atrocities the Arabs have committed against them as well. So I think we should help them to survive as a nation and to help them as an important ally.

Despite your fanciful claim, what proof do you have that all Palestinians want all Israelis dead? On recent actions alone, I think you could more accurately argue that it appears to be the other way around, despite rational thought telling us that neither scenario is actually true, and you are just using hyperbole.

You are looking at one side of the issue, ask yourself all this is happening. Hamas will never eradicate the Jews from their ancestral homeland, it will never happen.

Actually, when I read your posts, that is exactly what runs through my mind, so pot, kettle black. For the record, I think I am far more objective and fair minded than you are on the issue.  I am not suggesting that Israelis leave Israel - that is their ancestral homeland. But you seem to think it’s perfectly OK for the Palestinians to have to leave theirs, and you are openly advocating the idea. I emphatically reject that. I say that a 2 State solution is the only fair way to resolve this. That is my position.

Of course they don’t - the Palestinians have their own homeland already, why should they have to move at all? THAT is the Arab position. Give them their own state - THAT is the Arab position. And the position of most countries in the world for that matter. Sending the Palestinians elsewhere is absolute nonsense, which everybody knows.

but they will still criticize Israel all day long, no one has a solution, no one came up with any solutions,

Just to reiterate, most of the world supports a 2 State solution in Israel/Palestine, including the Arab League. I suggest you do some reading. That IS the solution.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

king opposes displacement

I bet he does. He (and all Arabs) know the palestinians are nothing but trouble wherever they go. We see endless self-righteous talk from the Arab world regarding the palestinians but when it comes to taking them in it is a whole other story. Talk is real cheap.

Why not send them to Western Europe to finish that region off entirely.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Syrian and Ukrainian refugees who left their countries because of wars had the right to return. Both Trump and Netanyahu stated if the Palestinians leave Gaza there will be no right of return. Ethnic cleansing is illegal under international laws.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

The US and Israel are members of the UN and signature of the UN Charter.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Arab have always been part of America

0 ( +2 / -2 )

In the 1950s and 1960s, the Jordanian government, including King Hussein and other officials, promoted the slogan "Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan."

Syrian and Ukrainian refugees who left their countries because of wars had the right to return. Both Trump and Netanyahu stated if the Palestinians leave Gaza there will be no right of return. Ethnic cleansing is illegal under international laws.

The ethnic cleansing reference is irrelevant because there is no "intent to make the society ethnically homogeneous".

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

The US and Israel are members of the UN and signature of the UN Charter.

The UN is a sick, corrupt joke.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Trump said he would buy Gaza. Now he says he won't buy it but will own it.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

According to a review of textbooks used in schools by Palestinian Arabs, from at least elementary school, Palestinian Arabs are taught to hate and to want to destroy the Jews.

The two-state solution and peace and coexistence with Israel are not advocated within the textbooks.

Textbooks show incitement to martyrdom, using various methods to convince children to sacrifice their lives. Jews are referred to as "enemies of Islam"

In third grade, nine-year-olds are taught to recite a violent poem calling for "sacrificing blood" to remove the enemy [Israel] from the land.

In fifth grade, dying is described as better than living.

Newton’s Second Law is taught through the use of a slingshot aimed at soldiers.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Trump said he would buy Gaza. Now he says he won't buy it but will own it.

He only ever said he would own it. He never said he would buy it.

The reason he can own it is because the last owner WAS EGYPT

And guess what? Egypt doesn't want it back after Egypt started a war with Israel and then quickly lost, lol

Egypt doesn't want it back because the gazan arabs only ever incite revolution and jihad, so no surprise.

So there's no one to "buy" it from, duh.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Palestinians from Gaza; king opposes displacement

Of course he does. Jordan has enough problems with radical islamists, and influx of another million would make that worse. Same situation in Saudi Arabia.

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

I watched Trump on TV when he said: "he would buy Gaza". Now he wants it for free.

1 ( +5 / -4 )
