Trump still is still too stupid to see that the real war is in Ukraine.

How embarrassing.

Despite evidence that the conflict between Israel and Iran is escalating, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism on Sunday that peace would come soon and cited the possibility that Russia's Vladimir Putin could help.

What an idiot.

8 ( +14 / -6 )

For years, Trump threatened to "bomb the hell" out of Iran.

For years, Trump threatened to "bomb the hell" out of Iran.

Yes, so Iran needs to think deeply about any thought of nuclear ambitions.

A world of chaos and darkness is what we can look forward to. Nobody knows how to or cares maybe to stop the daily killings. Humanity is degrading by the day and most of the victims are innocents.

Bass4 ,who fear the US dysfunction military leadership

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Naive Chamberlain Trump

5 ( +8 / -3 )

The orange buffoon will be as successful in this as he was in ending the Muscovite empires invasion of Ukraine in one day!

9 ( +11 / -2 )

The man is now beyond delusional and into insane.

He thinks Putin, who has been waging war for the last three plus years (and, in so doing, has wrecked his country's reputation for decades (and is also now encountering a demographic time bomb because so many men of military age are getting killed and injured) can help broker peace in any way, shape or form?

I mean I know his birthday parade yesterday was a washout, but if he wants people to forget about that, he's going to have to try a lot harder than this.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Nope. Not going to happen. Trump remains delusional about Putin and his own abilities.

Trump is a buffoon.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Trump did not offer any details about the meetings or evidence of progress toward peace. His assertion contradicted comments by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Bibi knows Trump is a fool. So does Putin.

So does everyone outside the MAGAsphere.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Why not at least give peace and diplomacy an opportunity. Lives would be saved.

Oh wait... it might give Putin a win and Liberals are still bent out of shape over Trump winning in 2015 which they still blame on Putin via their Russian collusion conspiracy theory.

The left have become anti peace delusional war mongers.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

Bibi knows Trump is a fool. So does Putin.

They all told you? Had no idea that you had that much insider knowledge of what world leaders think. lol

Huh??? There is really no way of knowing that since it takes a few days to compile a full list of all the viewership on that day throughout the country as well as social media engagements.

but if he wants people to forget about that, he's going to have to try a lot harder than this.

You think?

The left have become anti peace delusional war mongers.

How do you see Putin, being the biggest war monger, having any credibility as a peace broker?

5 ( +8 / -3 )

They all told you? Had no idea that you had that much insider knowledge of what world leaders think. lol

That is the exact problem with living in the MAGAt echo chamber/bubble. World leaders have been quite vocal about Trumps tariffs, trade wars, poor behavior, poor choices, etc. The German chancellor literally insulted Trump straight to his face trying to get the demented old fool to get a clue... and it went right over Trumps head. The old saying, "Wise men shouldn't suffer fools" has a lot of truth to it. Trump keeps blatantly showing his ignorance and complete incompetence as a so called "leader". Putin still outsmarts Trump and the MAGAts keep bleating how successful he is....

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Really ...

Can guess how the D media directing ..

At any cost we should bring Putin into this ( which Trump never said ) As a usual D media were trying THE GREAT RUSSIAB HOAX........ still alive in the D media heads..

We should do anything and everything in the IRAN negotiations as our peers did in the Los Angeles streets..

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

to compile a full list of all the viewership on that day

Crowd size does not include teevee or YouToob viewership.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

in an interview with ABC News, he said he was open to Putin, whose forces invaded Ukraine and who has resisted Trump's attempts to broker a ceasefire with Kyiv, serving as a mediator.

Surely even the most hard-line Trump sycophants must see what an absolutely awful idea that would be.

No there is a little thing called trying to wipe out Ukraine that is more important.

This exactly describes Trump’s MAGA.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

That is the exact problem with living in the MAGAt echo chamber/bubble.

No, I just asked you a question, no need to bloviate

World leaders have been quite vocal about Trumps tariffs, trade wars, poor behavior, poor choices, etc.

That goes both ways

The German chancellor literally insulted Trump straight to his face trying to get the demented old fool to get a clue... and it went right over Trumps head. The old saying, "Wise men shouldn't suffer fools" has a lot of truth to it.

When Germany becomes 100% independent on the U.S. and our military equipment then they can talk as much garbage as they want, until then, Trump will have the last laugh.

Trump keeps blatantly showing his ignorance and complete incompetence as a so called "leader". Putin still outsmarts Trump and the MAGAts keep bleating how successful he is....

But Putin is not smiling if Trump hits Vlad with crippling sanctions, his economy can’t take it.

Yeah, I think it’s safe to say that the left has lost everything and nothing they can hold onto so they will make up anything if it helps get them to feel alive and cope with MAGA in the upcoming months and years.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

At first I thought this was another of Trump's half-baked ideas. But I don't think it came from Trump at all. It came from Putin and gives him more leverage and legitimacy. Trump is yet again being manipulated.

I do a lot, and never get credit for anything, but that’s OK, the PEOPLE understand.

No. You don't achieve a lot, but want adulation. And most people understand you are an idiot.

When are we going to see that? Talk is cheap.

No, they are always do as told by their leaders/media. Yet the right is the cult I guess.

Putin is the world leader who knows Iran, Russia's neighbor best, as he's been in power for over 25 years, helped build their civilian nuclear power industry etc.

Obvious Putin & Xi need to play big roles in ending this war, Iran's pursuit of nuclear enrichment for weapons, etc.

Trump's been VERY concerned about Iran and nuclear proliferation since he first announced ten years ago, his top priority and why he's so close to Israel's PM etc.

Above, #1 reason Trump's so busy trying to keep good relations with Pres. Putin from the very beginning.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Did he see that at his expensive failed military parade or his failed Ukraine/Russia peace treaty?

Has the 24hr promise been extended again?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

HopeSpringsEternal

Nobody is going to listen to Putin on peace when he is conducting an imperialist war of aggression on Ukraine!

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Leadership in Iran, Israel, US and China will all carefully listen to Pres. Putin and are anxious for his support to both help stop the war between Iran and Isreal and permanently end Iran's nuclear enrichment agenda.

Territorial proxy war in Ukraine, while a terrible tragedy, is rather trivial in the 'grand' geopolitical scheme of things

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Trump Admin via its $funding and military support actions since Jan 20th, has made it clear to entire world, including Ukraine, that Iran and its ongoing efforts to obtain nuclear weapons is Trump Admin's #1 priority.

As a result, Trump very anxious to leverage Pres. Putin to address the "Iran" problem in a constructive peaceful manner = ending Iran Isrrael war and no Iran enrichment

Daddy putin is ready to help? (in exchange for new drones to be used in Ukraine?)

“We will have PEACE soon, between Israel and Iran!”

What a lying windbag!

Does everybody remember the Obama deal made with Iran that was working until Trump came along and shredded it?

Well, the past has come back to bite Trump right on his big fat butt!

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Trump sees peace between Iran and Israel soon, eyes Putin role

Of all of Trump's broken promises, his one to "bring peace" to the world is perhaps his greatest failure...

We know all about his empty boasting where he said he could solve the Russia-Ukraine was "in 24 hours"...we're now at 180 days so that was a clear failure...

He then tried to bring peace to the Israel-Hamas war....note that is still going on....

Now his three-month "intensive" peace talks with Iran? Blown up by his BFF Bibi, who clearly has little fear or respect for him...

So the "great deal-maker" has no deals - and little credibility left...

The weakest and most impotent US President ever...

No they won't.

Iran will because they are allies, but Russia's war in Ukraine means that he can't help them as much as he would want.

The other nations see Putin as a warmonger. They are hardly going to listen to him about peace. Also, he is a war criminal and hence can't travel for fear of being arrested.

Russia, in their role as Great Power, will presumably be open to brokering a path forward in the Middle East.

It has had to launch a defensive police action in the name of national security related to foreign meddling on its frontiers. Moreover, it has built bridges with China, India, Africa and beyond which puts it in a unique position to build consensus in this new Multipolar World. In the Middle East and beyond, it is viewed as neutral, which the Collective West isn't, by shamelessly granting Netanyahu his ruthless desires.

Sorry to inform you, but Russia is no longer a Great Power.

It has had to launch a defensive police action in the name of national security related to foreign meddling on its frontiers.

No, it didn't. It engaged in imperialism and a war of aggression with its peaceful neighbor.

The hard truth for certain quarters to digest is Moscow has very unique links with Tehran and a huge potential role here. Combine this with a generally very strong diplomatic posture across the Middle East and beyond and there are many positives here.

Sometimes it is hard to swallow humble pie but the disastrous path of Biden (we shouldn't underscore the damage he did in the world) and cleaning up his mess, is very much a challenge for the contemporary decent leaders of this Multipolar World, of which Moscow has emerged as a standard bearer for confronting his mindset in the first place.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Most of world is +1000X more concerned about nuclear weapons proliferation in Iran, than a 2014 regional civil war territorial matter in Ukraine and why Putin (and Xi) efforts to help address this issue with all other relevant partners, so crucial to ensuring global security & stability.

As result, Pres. Trump's KEEN to work with Putin and Xi!

Your tagging along standard bearer was dealt a crushing blow in Syria and could receive another one in Iran.

It's worth noting the PM of Isreal's comments to a major US media figure just this weekend/see below. Clearly, this matter of US Iran tension is far more complicated and long term in nature than most fully appreciate

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran Sunday of orchestrating the two failed assassination attempts on President Trump during his third presidential campaign last year.

Netanyahu characterized Trump as the greatest threat to Iran and its ambitions for acquiring a nuclear weapon — claiming that’s why the rogue regime tried to murder him, in a shocking moment during an interview with Brett Baier of Fox News.

Netanyaho just doing his best to get US fully involved in his latest war as it is becoming evident that Iranians are hitting back harder than he thought.

Trumps world....everything is a "deal "

What about ceasefire, treaty, peace negotiations, a promise of no pre emptive strikes ?

NO....its a "deal'

And Bass, why cant Iran have nukes ?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

No deal with Gaza before Israeli mothers too hold the bodies of their kids with limbs blown off

The same numbers as well.

Then, talk a deal....after some pain is felt of the Israeli side.
