The US House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill Friday to boost Secret Service protection for presidential candidates to the same level as sitting presidents and vice presidents.

I look forward to presidential candidate Dr. Cornel West and his platform for Truth, Justice and Love getting full Secret Service protection.

Trump has sought political advantage by blaming -- without evidence -- Biden and Democratic election rival Kamala Harris for fueling motivation behind the plots, citing their "rhetoric" about him endangering democracy.

If you talk about Trump's Jan6 insurrection, you are encouraging assassination attempts.

Interesting quandary there.

Acid washing yet again.

Hopefully Trump can make this right and unite the country.

You are joking, right?

If you talk about Trump's Jan6 insurrection, you are encouraging assassination attempts.

You mean “riots” there was no insurrection

Interesting quandary there.

Lot of nut jobs out there.

If you talk about Trump's Jan6 insurrection

speaking of:

“These newly surfaced transcripts, which were previously concealed, reveal the truth that many in the mainstream media have ignored.

According to the documents, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, confirmed that President Trump expressed concern about the potential for unrest and proactively ordered the necessary precautions.

On January 3, 2021, just three days before the protest, General Milley recalled the president saying, “Hey, look at this. There’s going to be a large amount of protesters here on the 6th. Make sure that you have sufficient National Guard or Soldiers to make sure it’s a safe event”

never happened.

"Complacency" or "willful neglect"? Seems to be in the eye of the beholder. I wonder how many more attempts the guy will have to survive until November.

I'm thinking it is complacency because it is Trump, and he is not actively POTUS. My evaluation is Kamala is still actively VPOTUS. So the US SS is going to be guarding her way more carefully. Plus Trump has been known to not listen to security details that make their jobs more capable of protecting him.
