I live and work in Yokosuka, served 24 years on 6 ships, 3 were nuclear carriers. This is routine shipyard stuff, it’s only a big deal because: Japan.
Should there be hypersensitivity? Yeah, it’s not normal to everyday citizens, so it’s news.

So they force to edit out her being dragged unconscious into the hotel room. It still won’t screen in Japanese cinema, if it does, the edited version will be, while the unedited version is already streaming in other countries. I hope it wins the Oscar, just to piss the lawyers off and see the cinemas still be strong armed into blocking it.

Don’t American military do this quite often? But the outcome seems very different.
Every few years, exact same situation but they get put on restriction and possibly lose rank and pay
Anyway, most woman would not mind if this guy walked up into their room.

Great photo! How many tourists saw and posted their own on SNS? This could replace the Lawson/Fuji trend with the new Enoshima/Downed SH-60 Seahawk. I'm sure the HSM-51 Warlords (this helo owning squadron) are clowning those pilots and maintenance control and QA is up all night tonight auditing competed maintenance and flight records to investigate. Not a fun process.
Go ahead and "minus" my post because its funny, no one has a sense of humor, and minusing peoples posts boosts self esteem and is the only ray of light in their rainy mundane exitance.

The US Military will not be leaving Japan, accept the fact and you are better off.
You may wish it all you want, that is fine and you may join in the gate protests at any of the bases. Oh and in the summer when it is open base you will go there with a F**ing smile on your face.
I spent 13 years dealing with the ignorance/lack of info in Japan regarding why we are there.

HHCH and regular THC gummies are potent. 1st timers are usually directed to just eat half of the gummy or less. Eating one whole, you get the nausea, sick feeling. Pretty sure they ate the whole thing in one go, its a very common (in the US anyways) beginner's lesson learned.

He was drinking at a friends house, townhome style off base. went out for a smoke late at night, walked back into the wrong house and fell asleep on the couch. The Japanese family woke him up in the morning rightfully pissed off. Honest drunken mistake, funny but serious too.
He was deservedly punished, as will this new incident.
