This is just a cash-grab, isn’t it? Their manager should be Malcolm McLaren, if it were not for the fact that he is dead. Would liven things up a bit.

Meanwhile, an actual decent band, Suede, are due to release their tenth album, with very little fanfare in September, fifth since reforming in 2010. Wonder how long it’ll be before the brothers Gallagher release any, if at all, new material?

Europa League final: It's all or nothing for Man United and Tottenham

If I were a Nottm Forest fan after the season they’ve had, it would stick in my craw that one of these two will get a Champions’ League place instead. So, in the words of Mercutio, “a plague on both your houses.”

Long overdue, give Japanese players the chance they deserve.

Yeah, and watch Japan’s chances of getting anywhere near a sniff of winning the World Cup disappear into the ether. And then, see all the Brave Blossom “fans” go back to following baseball.

Here was a parade much more worthy of significance and attendance. How the mighty have fallen.

Trump's busy deporting and detaining criminal illegal aliens and students with dangerous associations, making US far safer today than Jan 20th and safer every day!

Remind us again of who the culprits were on Jan 6th 2021? Were they criminal illegal aliens and students? Mmmmm?

He has not been accused of any crime.

Yet, released on bail. How the flibberty gibberts is that possible? Land of the Free? Home of the Brave. I don’t think so.

Russia declares 72-hour ceasefire in Ukraine

That’s really magnanimous of them. Such thoughtfulness.

There could even be another Nazi-style mass-surrender coming.

I know, right. There could, like, even be some in Stalingrad…….That would really show these fascists who’s boss, eh? Like. /s

Trump keeps contradicting himself on tariffs

Of course he does. Because he's actually stupid.

You beat me to it. Though I was gonna be less direct and say he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Just a little kindness to the elder generation on a Saturday morning…..

And I should’ve added that I cannot access THIS site while at work…..it’s flagged as “entertainment”…… so can’t access Amazon, JT, YT and many others, but plenty of explicit ads get displayed on other news sites. How are they getting through when it’s obvious porn can’t be accessed at work either?

Obviously the answer is more potatoes. As Bubba would say, fried potatoes, scalloped potatoes, baked potatoes, hash browns, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes…

What’s taters, precious? What’s taters, eh?

Po-tay-toes. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew. Lovely big golden chips with a nice piece of fried fish……..

Whole-heartedly agree. It’s about time the Japanese public learned just how much their farming countryfolk and govt. have been ripping them off.

Yes AdBlock and their ilk are very useful. Sadly, I cannot install anything on my school’s laptops, as they are “controlled by your organization.” My students have seen them already. They easily get through whatever security the schools use. And i most certainly do not watch porn. Can’t even access Amazon or YT at work, never mind porn.

A Japanese version of Hughie Green (only Brits over 60 will understand this).

Speak for yourself. I’m 52, yet I know who Hughie Green was. Comparing HG to MM is very unfair on HG. Much better comparison would be Swiss Tony from the Fast Show - condescending, smarmy, charming and authoritative, not forgetting tanned and immaculately groomed too.

So long as they don’t go the way of the Star Wars and Marvel franchises - endless, turgid spinoffs, with back stories of M, Blofeld or Moneypenny (some Bond ‘expert’ saying how amazing it would be to know about her back story….no. It REALLY wouldn’t.) or making Bond black or a woman, then fine.

In fact, make the spin offs,(will never watch them), just leave Jimmy alone.

If they want time to fill, they have the 5 years between JB ditching Madeleine Swann and then seeing him in the Bahamas in ‘No Time to Die.’ As a starting place, it’s as good as any.

Free speech doesn't mean you can yell fire in a croweded room, even freedom of speech has it's limits, the difference is, in the general rule of conversation as a matter of discourse, you should be allowed to say whatever you want provided it is not antagonistic with purposeful and vitriolic demeaning threats.

Oh boy, have you changed your tune!
