President Trump is right. The two atomic bombs ended the war,
Many cities were bombed in WW2 leaving many people to grapple with long-term physical and mental health challenges.

Brutal, this criminal stabbed the young women in the chest and left the knife in her chest. What kind of a man would do that? Only a beast would, I know of some other countries going to prison for such a crime means he would be DOA dead on arrival.
He has not been charged yet. Japanese "rule of law" at it's best - yet again.

This article highlights a certain flaw in the Japanese system / culture / Syke. When Japan talked about "scientific research" everybody (except Japan's) knew that Japanese officials were just insulting everybody's intelligence. Pulling out of the IWC, having been sussed out, they are now hunting in EEZ. At least they are being honest now.

Emergency reserves, high prices, rationing. How did Japan's rice crisis get this far?
Simple answer : Protectionism and high tariffs on imports. I predicted this 40 years ago.

@Cephus
To elaborate my thoughts, this particular crime would have been reported 50 years ago because of it's nature, and public disgust. It is not like an old fashioned "back in the day" Friday night alcohol driven punch up, which would probably not reach a court, but rather a resolution mediated by the police.

@Cephus
Hi Cephus. 50 years ago there was crime, but it was not generally violent, and crime was not generally reported unless it was serious, so I think that. the the question is "Is violent crime increasing?" I would say "Yes" but not significantly. However it is now reported more and with social media, things become public knowledge more easily. I hope that this gives you my thoughts.

Japan's Public Prosecutor's buildings are a disgrace, along with Japan's whole legal system. There is just no concept of "Presumed innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law". This value was given to Japan in 1947 when Japan was given it's,s new constitution. Prosecutors in Japan have become enemies of the people, and not guardians of the people.

Agreed! So leave Japan right now.
Probably a phased withdrawal would be more suitable than an immediate withdrawal.
