We're getting close to CHATGPT stuff here. "Write a message condemning Israel's actions. Use the word "genocide" as many times as possible, and hit every cliché in the book at least twice". - Some dude

Here's a link to the 84 page Genocide case filed at the International Court of Justice by South Africa. That's not ChatGPT. That's dozens upon dozens of meticulously cited United Nations, independent and international human rights organisation reports. Not to mention dozens of statements from Israel's own officials.

During his meeting with Netanyahu, Blinken underscored the need for a dramatic increase in the amount of humanitarian aid reaching Gaza,
From Secretary Blinken and Secretary Austin's statement last week.
"For Israel to continue qualifying for foreign military financing, the level of aid getting into Gaza must increase to at least 350 trucks a day... Israel has 30 days to respond."
UNRWA says an average of 13 food trucks a day have entered Gaza in the last week. Is this another "red line" for Israel to dance across and humiliate its biggest supporter? Israeli generals estimate that it'd have to halt its assault on Gaza within 6 days without US military support. And that was before Israel's assault on Lebanon began.

I think what infuriates me so much about these people is that they are trying to totally de-humanise Palestinians. The exact same process of dehumanisation that made anti-semitism rampant across europe and paved the way for the holocaust.

In 1996, Israeli artillery shelling on a United Nations compound housing hundreds of displaced people in Qana killed at least 100 civilians and wounded scores more people, including four U.N. peacekeepers. During the 2006 war, an Israeli strike on a residential building killed nearly three dozen people, a third of them children. Israel said at the time that it struck a Hezbollah rocket launcher behind the building.
These events are known as the first and second Qana massacres. The latest being the third.
But just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the history of Israeli war crimes commited in Lebanon. For example Israel's role in the Sabra and Shatila massacres.
Much like Hamas, Hezbollah are the product of Israeli beligerence. Not the cause of.
In the words of former Israeli PM, defence minister and IDF general Ehud Barak "When we entered Lebanon … there was no Hezbollah. We were accepted with perfumed rice and flowers by the Shia in the south. It was our presence there that created Hezbollah."

Israel never wanted Peace in the middle east, slowly but surly it is expanding it's network of spies and agents in these countries preparing them for it's long term goal of Creating The Greater Israel. - WoodyLee
I think this really gets to the heart of the conflict. It's the reason Israel won't end its illegal occupation of Palestine. Israel considers itself a work in progress. It's not happy with its internationally recognised borders so it practices, expansion and domination under the guise of "self defence".
In Israeli propaganda all roads lead to Iran. What does Iran have to do with Israel's occupation?

Of course they will be branded anti-semitic if they protest on Oct. 7th of all days. - Banthu
How is it any different than if people chose to protest the US invasion of Iraq on 9/11? Would they be considered Al Qaeda supporters? Complete nonsense.
They are branded "anti-semitic" wherever and whenever they protest. It's a disgusting use of anti-semitism that cheapens and devalues the term.
It's used to prevent the very contextualization you're talking about. Want to talk about pre-1947 or everything that has happened since 1968? Well now you're questioning Israel's right to exist.
I implore anyone unfamiliar with the conflict to do some basic research. It's not the incredibly complex or "centuries old religious conflict" it's made out to be. The history of the conflict is pretty straightforward and easy to understand.

No. While it’s arguable that Israel has overreacted, the fact remains that their innocent civilians were killed by a foreign military invasion, same as Ukraine. - Strangerland
So the fact that innocent Palestinian civilians were being killed, humiliated and denied their most basic human rights every single day for decades by a foreign military occupation doesn't factor into things in any way?
It's arguable that an event like Oct 7th is the logical conclusion and obvious consequence of Israel's endless brutal occupation.
Not an "over reaction" it's outrage that a population they've treated like less than animals for decades would dare threaten their impunity and sense of superiority.

Going to assume predictive text slipped you up there.
Terrorist entities like Hamas and Hezbollah were created by Israeli actions. The illegal occupation of Palestine, the invasion of Lebanon. They're a symptom of the conflict, not the cause.
If Israel wants to defeat terrorism It might help to stop creating the conditions that create it.

Gaza’s health ministry has identified 34,344 Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks in the territory, publishing a list of names, ages, gender and ID numbers that cover more than 80% of Palestinians killed in the war so far.
The document runs to 649 pages, with the dead listed largely by age.
More than 100 pages are filled with the names of victims under 10 years old, and the first adult names do not appear until page 215.
The health ministry report has been covered by many news outlets. You have to scroll through 14 pages before you get past the names of the 710 babies Israel has killed. Infants who never lived to see their first birthday.

Posted in: Lebanon rocked again by exploding devices; 14 dead, 450 injured See in context
One theory that security analysts have is that explosives weren't planted in the devices but instead software is being used to cause the lithium batteries to explode. In a similar way to how the stuxnet virus was used by Israel to significantly damage Iran's nuclear program. If so, the possibility of being able to detonate any device with a battery, anywhere in the world, at any time has serious global repercussions.
The timing is also very suspicious. Just as the United Nations General Assembly voted to end the Israeli occupation within 12 months. The story has largely been buried. In much the same Israel sensationally tried to designate UNRWA a terrorist organisation just as the ICJ announced its decision on Israel's ongoing genocide case.
