Few things would strike fear into the heart of political leaders quite like a "Goths Against Fascism" sign.

I'm sure Sanseito is trembling in their tabi boots right now - "Wait, guys... the goths are mad? Shut it all down. Democracy wins."

Tell us more about the sign you don't like.

He said it was a figure of speech, 24 hours means quickly. It's funny to see a lot of people actually take it so literally. People needs to see things beyond literal sense.

He said it 53 times before taking office- that's not a figure of speech, that's an election promise.

Thanks Captain Obvious. What they don't require is trump's ham fisted bull in a China shop interference.

The fact that trump has completely failed to make the 200 trade deals he said he would does not make your point. His flip flopping trade proclamations, if and when he actually manages to get anything signed, will increase prices for consumers because that’s what tariffs do. His inability to get anything done highlights his ineffectual leadership, not any ability to maintain low prices.

More stupid tariffs, this time to influence the rule of law in another sovereign nation, more food price increases for American consumers.

Calling something ‘humanitarian’ does not make it humanitarian. It is forced relocation, which is a war crime.

The two early bird comments above basically back up BBs very simple statement and sentiments. We live in a world where they get to chant ‘Death to the IDF’ in some sort of ghoulish Glastonbury mass mindjob ( broadcast live of the BBC thankyou very much ), and actually celebrate it.

But never mind, carry on, once you drink from the kool-aid pool of media sponsored click bait anti-semitism, just like magic, you can justify any conflicting concept residing safely in that head of yours.

The target is Hamas, not the general population

Blah blah blah

. In total, more than 50,000 children have reportedly been killed or injured since October 2023. How many more dead girls and boys will it take?

How long will this proclamation last? About as long as the 90 deals in 90 days bs? trump must be getting whiplash from flip flopping on his trade deals.

One country has nuclear weapons, refuses any IAEA inspections, refuses to sign NPT and is committing genocide on its neighbor- and it’s not Iran. It also murdered Iran’s lead nuclear negotiator in order to derail ongoing talks.

Every American now a target, US embroiled in another Middle Eastern war, gas prices about to increase, adding to the incoming recession. Now trump is asking China, the country he imposed 200% tariffs on, to stop Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz.

‘Obama will attack Iran because if his inability to negotiate properly- not skilled’. Trump in 2013.

Maga idiocy

Posted in: Trump keeps world guessing about US military action against Iran See in context

Israel or Iran?

Which country has nuclear weapons?

Which country refuses any IAEA inspections?

Which country just killed the other’s lead nuclear negotiator in a blatant effort to derail upcoming talks?

Which country is committing genocide against its neighbor?

Which country has the IAEA said is not attempting to make nuclear weapons?

The only legal justification for an attack by Netanyahu and his co-conspirator Trump is U.N. article 51, which legitimizes the use of force to repel an armed attack. Israel has explicitly stated that their attack is to prevent the possibility of a future attack, not a response to an attack.

Assessing the legality of the attack depends on the legal conception of self defense. There are three basic positions:

1, That states can act preventatively to deflect attacks, especially existential ones.

States can act to deflect future attacks that are imminent.

That states can only act to deflect armed attacks that have occurred.

Obviously under option 3, the attack is manifestly illegal.

There is legal agreement that option 1 is untenable, it’s often associated with the Bush administration’s use of force against Iraq and similar to Russia’s attempts to justify the invasion of Ukraine.

So, Israel has only option 2-

It’s incumbent upon Israel to prove that an attack is imminent- the Iranian rhetoric often used to justify this is mainly for domestic political purposes, and does not, in itself translate to proof of an explicit intention to attack, especially given the fact that Israel would respond decisively in kind. Perhaps there is explicit intelligence that shows this intention, but none has been provided by either Israel or US. Even Netanyahu has stated that Iran is months ( he’s been saying basically the same thing for 20 years) away from development- and in the context of ongoing talks and negotiations, an attack is unjustified. It is difficult to see the current attack as the last possible option, thus it is illegal under international law.
