Trump's "killing it" on immigration with the US public, it's his best issue relative to Trump 1.0
The only thing Trump is "killing" is his approval ratings, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll from June 11:
Immigration issues: 43 percent approve, 54 percent disapprove
Deportations: 40 percent approve, 56 percent disapprove
Economy: 40 percent approve, 56 percent disapprove
Trade: 38 percent approve, 57 percent disapprove
Israel - Hamas conflict: 35 percent approve, 52 percent disapprove
Russia - Ukraine war: 34 percent approve, 57 percent disapprove
Job Approval: 38 percent approve, 54 percent disapprove
Just an FYI.

They better check Rakuten and Mercari often. I'm sure people will try reselling the rice there. Probably Amazon as well but there's more control on that platform.
You don't think that two e-commerce giants like Rakuten and Mercari have control over what people list on their sites?

Moderator: It is a typo. Ryuma is correct.

I paid ¥8500 ($66). ($1.88/kg) for a 30kg bag of brown rice from a farmer. I was gifted 15 kg, and again this week I received a further gift of 15 kg. Our current rice stock is about 20 kgs until the new rice arrives.
How did you buy directly from a farmer? Do you know them personally? Or, is there a source for that?
There is a rice field directly behind our second house in Shiga pref, as well as many farms nearby. But, I don't know to get in touch directly with the farmers themselves.

NCIS Reruns
From 1960 to the present the number of US pro baseball teams nearly doubled, from 16 to 30. Japan Pro baseball has remained stagnant at 12. Suggestions to expand either domestically or internationally, such as by playing games with pro teams in Taiwan or South Korea, have never gone anywhere.
12 teams is just about the right number for a country this size. A baseball team is an expensive endeavor, which needs fan support to buy tickets, buy goods, and watch broadcasts. More teams will draw fans away from existing teams, lowering revenue per team.
canigetawhatwhat
@NCIS where they going to find talent for more teams? Doesnt make sense to expand.
There's plenty of talent, as can be seen in August during the Koshien HS tournament, as well as foreign players. The reason why expansion wouldn't work is simply a financial one.

Of the three you mentioned, we liked Kokuho Rose the least. There was a definite difference between it and the others. Tamanashiki being the best of those three, and Nishiki bringing up the middle.
But, we preferred Tamaki Gold, which you didn't mention, over all the others.
