The GOP has always been a one trick pony. Blame the dems, demonize the dems... lie as much as possible to make it seem like you have something to go off of... and this has been going on for DECADES. And not once hve the modern era GOP ever LOWERED the US deficit regardless of their ancient claim of "fiscal responsiblity" and "small government".

Canadian PM had to shut down the g7 presser because Trump tried to hijack it to push his 'libs/dems" rant. I'm a firm independent moderate. Trump and the MAGAts will always be seen as the most un-American anti-Constitutional hypocrites they show themselves as. I really wish Canada never allowed him in their country.

I wonder if the no Kings movement will spread to Greenland, and maybe even Canada.

And you've lost the plot (or are an obvious disinformation shill). The US never started as an independent nation with a king or dictator. The US war of Independence was to no longer be a colony under the control of British monarchy. George Washington quite literally created the position of POTUS.

Canada chose to be a commonwealth with support from a monarchy. Greenland had a somewhat similar start, but mostly was due to colonization tactics.

Only the Trump regime is threatening military invasion of NATO allies... which NO AMERICAN president has entertained over the history of the USA.

@iraira, this is exactly what I meant that MAGA are FANATICS. It may be possible the suspect you mentioned, is another "mental illness" case until the actual motive is discovered.... but has that made much difference? The MAGA cult wants to be able to freely prosecute and commit crimes anyone who they deem a "liberal/democrat", and doesn't worship Trump like they do with no consequences. MAGA GOP across the nation have been caught many times spewing how they want to assault political opponents, and engage in blatant voter suppression tactics to get all the power to themselves.

This is why I've always been a supporter of American's 2A rights to defend against these exact types of people. To DEFEND against criminals, illegal militias, and fanatics like the MAGA cult.

They all told you? Had no idea that you had that much insider knowledge of what world leaders think. lol

That is the exact problem with living in the MAGAt echo chamber/bubble. World leaders have been quite vocal about Trumps tariffs, trade wars, poor behavior, poor choices, etc. The German chancellor literally insulted Trump straight to his face trying to get the demented old fool to get a clue... and it went right over Trumps head. The old saying, "Wise men shouldn't suffer fools" has a lot of truth to it. Trump keeps blatantly showing his ignorance and complete incompetence as a so called "leader". Putin still outsmarts Trump and the MAGAts keep bleating how successful he is....

The MAGAts on this site still can't understand that their lies, deceit, and "conspiracy" disinformation will always be at odds with REALITY and TRUTH. They will only always see what they want to see, and hear what they want to hear...and only believe in what they want to believe regardless of REALITY and FACTS. MAGAts are a CULT, and this proves more and more each day that they are fanatical Trump worshipers that love fascism, lack true American patriotism, or actual comprehension of the US Constitution and the rights entailed in it. They long to be ruled over, instead of having a good leader. Those that have never experienced true dictatorship, try to install it so they can weep and gnash their teeth about their absolute stupidity later.

I was informed by US military vets and active duty personnel that Trump was quite literally being disrespected to his face and he didn't even realize it when the army personnel marched past. Quiet protest on the Army's part that even Hegseth didn't pick up on.

If they find this person, I hope he will still be alive if he hasn't decided to remove his fanatical self from this world already.

No excuse for this except for stupidity of the Trump regime. RENEWABLE energy advancement means we find ways for INFINITE energy regeneration! But Trump is so stuck in the past he believes that their will be a sudden rush for old energy sources such as coal and oil.

@JJE Tesla is being boycotted because of what Elon Musk did using DOGE and joining MAGA. Tesla is NOT the only EV maker in the world, and they're not the only option for a "power wall" system. Pretty much Musk ruined it for himself. It's called, "You made your bed, now lie down in it."

Companies are still going to proceed with renewable energy sources any way because they know it is the future (and already the present).

Egotistical narcissism is Trump mentality no matter how one tries to paint it. Don't cater to it... Ever.

A certain poster keeps pushing the "Trump tariffs good!" ideology while reality is pushing "here are the acutal results dumb@$$"... I have to watch and experience the results immediately as I live and work in the US... unlike certain people hiding away overseas not experiencing the consequences... yet...

The issue with MAGA is they don't understand until it affects them directly. The sooner the better. I already see those who are in the US and are being affected directly are foaming at the mouth with rage... but they chose to vote for it... and still wonder why it's turning out so badly for them.

No US POTUS in history has ever been so repulsive to our allies to literally drive them away and cozy up to the US's actual enemies. It sucks for me as an American, but I recommend as long as this nation is literally behaving insane under the current administration the rest of NATO can boycott, sanction, or what have you to the US. Hell, the US can't even be trusted with intelligence sharing, or any of our old alliance comradery due to the most recent mess up of our DoD Kegsbreath and Trumps crew of "very qualitfied" bootlicking loyalist dip$#!+$. The orange idiot believes the modern day economy of the US is the exact same as it was back in the 1800s!!!! Good news is the rest of the world isn't playing the !$@#$ game and the RED states that put him in power are going to get the first brunt of the BS they chose. I have no more F's to give and no compassion or empathy for those that support or supported him. Farmers are losing their farms to big agriculture. Car manufacturers have raised prices on cars due to materials costing more. The company I work for is having supplier and cost issues with providing much needed medication to our clients. The shortages keep growing, and our allocations are smaller. It is only going to get worse. But the Trumpeteer cult are literally so far up their "dear leader's" hindquarters, they can't see the light unless it's literally putting their lives in searing hot coals of hellfire.

Good news is some MAGAts are finally waking up as their lives are being destroyed. But as always with the MAGAt mind, they expected Trump to hurt OTHERs and not them... The GOP town halls are quite entertaining these days as MAGA constituents yell and scream at empty seats that should have GOP congress/senate representatives who don't show up because they're terrified to face their "people" face to face. Some even have recordings on their answering machines filled with their voters threatening all manners and sorts of violence on them.

I just wish I didn't have to suffer from these fools poor choices. We're done here.

Trump wants to be on the side of "the axis of evil" in WW3. Just keep in mind many Americans are willing to protect and uphold our US Constitutional rights if the so-called POTUS turns treasonous tyrant. True Americans do not bow to kings, dictators, or the president. Our Constitution will remain after him and his crew are gone. Trump will try to remove American's right to vote in FREE and FAIR elections. Trump will try to remove the US 2A to protect ourselves from his attempt at getting full consolidated power over the US (including Congress, and Senate.)

Only problem is the US military does not have to obey if any of his orders violate their oath to the US Constitution.

Posted in: Canada, Mexico announce tariffs on U.S. in retaliation for Trump's tariffs See in context

@Bass, History repeats itself. No, it will not fix itself... I've watched this happen for over 30 years. GOP creates massive economic problems due to deregulation, and sucking up to corporate and rich America, then blames the dems. Dems try to fix things, but because the damage the GOP inflicts is bad, it takes time. The GOP then claims it is taking too long to fix, and they can do it better... then if the GOP gets back in power... they GO RIGHT BACK TO deregulation, and sucking up to corporats.

Trump is doing this process a LOT faster, a LOT harder, and violating the POTUS oath of upholding and respecting the US Constitution.

As I said, you guys never learn until it is too late. And I also said a long time ago, "one of these days it will be so bad, the US will never recover." Keep that in mind in the next few weeks to months... It is going to be worse than you could have ever conceived. And that is what you get when you believe in nothing but lies. Just remember all the "I told you so"s" from everyone trying to warn MAGAts about this for the past 12 years. But Project 2025 is a great idea in your mind right?

Good lord, only idiots believe other idiots aren't stupid. It most certainly will not work the way MAGA nutters or Trump and cabal thinks it will. Trump most definitely is stupid, even folks in his admin know it for a fact. I'm watching Trumps chaos unfold in my workplace as we have to deal with medications made all over the world becoming more expensive. I'm watching Trump's federal funding cut affect patients that are in LTC not being able to afford care or insurance coverage for those same medications that have a price increase. I'm watching my 401k already taking a beating thanks to mr. tariffs "help 'murica". How many times do those of us with sane American heads on our shoulders have to say that, "Trump and the MAGA, will tank the US economy!" It will be happening real time in the next few weeks/months. The inflation WILL rise, the deficit WILL rise, and Trump and his enablers will be the ones who directly caused it. Can't blame the dems for this one. It will be TRUMP and MAGAs fault. The world knows, and those of us Americans that didn't vote for this KNOW. MAGAts OWN this MESS. I said a long time ago, "Y'all won't figure out how badly you screwed up, until it is TOO LATE."

My advice for all of US former allies, work around the US as long as Trumps regime is in power. Sanction the US, tariff the US, and the oligarchs who believe that the rich should rule the poor, the GOP members that went full MAGA in their support for Trump. Should Trump attempt military action on US allies/NATO, I fully expect US allies/NATO to band together against Trump and his enablers. The US USED to have dignity, integrity, honor, and stability. MAGA did EXACTLY the opposite of their moniker... I don't even call them idiots any more, they're worse than that.

@Bass, why do you insist on delusion? Please explain how replacing self perceived corruption with ACTUAL corruption is the way? I will bring up case in point from world history. Yeltsin during his rule in Russia was corrupt. Putin claimed he would remove the corruption that Yeltsin partook in. When Putin got into power, he replaced Yeltsen's corrupt cabal with his OWN CORRUPT cabal. Why are you so blind faith in Trump's completely obvious corrupt picks of cabinet? You really blatantly like to claim, "Oh he'll fix it" while it is obvious to everyone who is not a cult addict, that Trump is a corrupt convicted felon! You only see what you want to see, and hear what you want to hear. Only when it is TOO late, will you (or more likely your children and future generations) understand the consequences of this entire horror show. An oligarchy as it is called. Prepare to be wage slaves who never make enough to keep their heads above water. Running a corporate business, and running a COUNTRY are two different things. Trump only looks out for benefits of the wealthy. The GOP has been doing this forever, and MAGA literally kept making sure their lives get worse just to get back at the Libs and anyone who doesn't agree with their cult.

In what world history, has the wealthy ever decided to give up making hundreds of millions or billions to keep the rest of societal classes who are middle class and lower from being destroyed? How to vote against you own well being.

Trump is only hiring out of touch rich people to run the country into the ground... for their GREED. A good cabinet consists of real people who have had to live with the problems that average Americans experience in order to know how to support and resolve the same problems they are hired to deal with.

Remember a long time ago I said, "I got mines, to hell with everyone else..." mentality is the way of the GOP. This is the embodiment of it in real time.

They will keep doing this until the economy and USD tanks so hard it will never recover. Only when money becomes useless, will they come to the realization of how much chaos and destruction their greed has created. Money is their GOD, and GREED is their religion.
