Lindsay, very valid question. If it was box trapped, it could be 'injected' FIGHTO why do you jump to a shot solution, tho no mention of vet attendance. Some months ago I saw an article about a certain meat being sold in vending machines in... a winter destination. At least the animal appears to have enjoyed a enjoyable last meal. no quip. It was a wild animal, safety first.

Posted in: Health insurance cards to no longer be issued as info will be integrated with My Number cards See in context

Jennie,

admission, I am not jpn resident tho got family and apartment there. I have an ID card/number(chipped). R.O.A., immigration channel, departure channel, driving license, no health ins here. But public hospital access, car license renewal (needed for insurance application. Ins Co not allowed to use it excepting traffic offenses),

bank services, police immigrant checks (ID please). hospitals, if you sign up all public hospitals can access records.. bang crash wreck beeeboo already 'first responders' give ID of incoming. I also sign up for my private hospital to make all available. so insurance? you have to make a honest declaration anyway! The disaster is when you loose it, on line police hot no case no. next day immi appt. JUST ask. data leaks happen from on-line shopping etc, not seen any significant data losses in ~30yrs, somethings in 2019.. not internal intl hacks.

Saw a very recent similar post here. Attributing the HIV decline on reduced stigma so people come forward far more early for treatment. Earlier treated earlier controlled. or 'cos the potential sickies are more aware of the lifestyle 'issues'.

'average' cars take some time and intent to hit ~200kph. what was the unknown inexperienced driver cocooned within? ok I got 200kph kit but not for country roads, and fit for the task, i.e got brakes on them. and drive with my eyes open, homicide by dangerous driving

Posted in: Scientists seek miracle pill to stop methane cow burps See in context

I would follow the seaweed approach, researched already for several years and already applied, but only for specific types, species. I 'guess' seaweed more readily available and suitable to bovine eating habits. Other seaweeds are already used in vegan diets. Mr Beer, if you have ever regularly spent time with a vegan overnight, compare to a cow eater, bedroom got none of the CH4 smell in the morning. Cow produced methane is an acknowledged contributor to global warming, garlic seaweed or cut the bovine out of the diet?

beginning of advent ? fourth sunday b4 Xmas until 6Jan from memory. I stopped doing it some years ago when I realised that the local neighbours were 'competing' with bigger internally lit trees and LED light systems in all their windows. Unfortunately it has just become another reason for rampant consumerism. Nov is for all saints day. 1or 2 Nov

Posted in: Japan to revise duty-free rules; refund consumption tax on return See in context

Tax return could be claimed at the a'port, refunded later when fully validated by the stores using bank transfer. UK used to do something like that what a mess. I didn't bother as I already had sufficient savings compared to buying UK stuff in asia.

I have nothing against sex out of marriage, in my experience a non-marriage m-F whilst raising a son has kept us together for c 26yrs now, we both realised that a marriage was not viable. I do not u'stand same sex relationships. Therefore not my business. I do get angered when the rainbow movement makes such a big issue about m-m, f-f, relationships. nought special about it, we keep our relationship in-house and are internally proud of it. no dancing down the streets etc. All pride proponents have no 'pride' as humans?? Said my piece, now back to my own natural life.

Posted in: Mycoplasma pneumoniae infections hit record high in Japan See in context

pneumonia is contagious, but more threatening to the elderly who have weaker immune systems. From what I heard from my Docs when being treated for M.A.C., a mycobacteria infection is that the low flu period before covid then isolating stuff during (I always have had a vulnerable lung) reduced the natural immunity so the slightest 'infection' passing around stresses the natural immunity. Makes sense we were not out getting hammered with multiple 'friends etc' and picking up baccies regularly, kiddywinks were not coming home from school sick once a week. Maybe wearing a mask in sickie places should just become natural for a few yrs, we do it in hospital visits, sickie persons.. sickie protection. I got no problem with it!

I have not seen the version of the later later western press yet, but a ceasefire based upon the IDF still having control over bordder towns they have ordered to be evacuated.??? It was announced very early our morning that Biden had brokered the deal, with an intrinsic u'standing that IDF would retain border areas. Fact check. US CBS, Fox etc. I am hopefull (in very lower case typee).

Maybe he is one of the few US people that realize that the workers of alllother countries to be tariffed are intrinsically more productive than US workers... so US workers have to bear the cost of the tarriffs, I reckon some investment from the 1% of US is needed to go back down the ladder. or is that too CCP???

Posted in: Defining dangerous driving faces tough going in Japan See in context

First start with the insurance, anybody driving under the influence insurance is void. Driving in excess of 45kph insurance is void, road racing, time trialing, insurance is void. Driving without valid 3rd part cover. Go to jail do not pass go to not get assisted legal aid. Drinking alcohol is drinking alcohol, every nation I drive in has defined limits. Does quote prof make a living out of defences. Speeding is speeding, I have driven in many nations inc jpn, If drivers cannot see the limits??? negligence? I am not an innocent regarding speed, but I am perfectly aware of it. booked ~10 times in forty years, never had a D&D or dangerous driving.

Posted in: How would you rate Japanese cities in terms of barrier-free facilities at train stations, on buses, in restaurants, stores and other public areas? See in context

For city stations the anti-storm raised entrance steps are still a BFA barrier, but hand rails now ubiquitous. Ramps were becoming more common. on the way in, maybe the way down was more exciting (quip). Lifts should be more obvious. I am always beguiled by lack of tactile studs/ tiles at all crossings, entrances/exits, buildings shops station platforms, (tactiles are for the visually impaired)

Q; does jpn have a BFA legislation, if not they are (mmmh 2006/7 -2024) behind other asian places

Scanning the above, the left hand can never shake the right hand w/o a surgical adjustment? not one comment on where the carbon footprint of the increased visitors rests. The country of origin as in industrial products. All nations are crying out for tourism income. How many of the above spend their jpn earned bucks(y) in jpn? I adore jpn so many places worthy of the pre-bucket list. guilty I take a 3hr flight to get there.

It is a vital discussion long overdue, to protect supposed responsible adults of the future generation. Do parents want on-line grooming, naked video distribution etc. There are already laws in force to prosecute the perps. I reckon at least one case a day now being disclosed in my place.. not just with minors also ex-class mates perping late teens. where to start... throw out the 'woke' acceptance and introduce a new legal awake society?
