strange you don’t call out your teammates who are now doing the “Hysterically biased posting” that “isn’t useful to anyone.”

I don’t have teammates. Stopped playing footy a few years ago. Ankle buggered.

Objectively speaking, I find the MAGA types far more transparently dishonest.

Ridiculous claims to wealth, academic prowess abd qualifications and a deluge of sock puppet accounts.

They take their lead from a leader completing divorced from truth.

Poor role model for these youngsters.

Well now we know he has link with evangelical ministries, and what gym does he attend and does he goes for groceries in Walmart or Targets? Quick to point his faith, slow in real substance of his relationship with the Democratic party and Tampon Tim

Best to look at all angles. We all know how high you hold the virtue of honesty.

The religious angle being one of them.

Religious fanatics can be very dangerous. A cause of a lot of violence and suffering.

Saw some of the ‘highlights’ from the Bayern v Auckland demolition.

I think the organizers of this thing wouldn’t have been happy. Bayern should’ve settled for 3 or 4.

Not a good look.

Starting to come into focus

Just recently, Melissa Hortman courageously voted in the state legislature for a bill to ban illegal immigrants from having state funded healthcare - the only democrat to do so.

Afterwards she sounded terrified when she spoke to local media afterwards.

Also turns out the suspect's wife worked for Tim Walz in DC while he was a congressman.

There needs to be a full investigation here.

This story is getting weirder and weirder.

Best wait for the results of the investigation.

Hysterically biased posting isn’t useful to anyone.

Remember ‘oh wait!’.

The public deserves a full and honest account of what is going on here.

We know he is a Tim Walz appointee

Lol. Full and honest!

Best wait for the conclusions of the investigation.

The spammers are going berserk - they already have their parents telling them to do their homework.

Maybe one way to look at this is long-term.

Trump has only 3 and a half years left and will be heading for lame duck status soon. He may not even last those 3 and a half years.

Will the next administration be pandering to morons and conspiracy theorists?

Don’t forget those getting hysterical after watching podcasts and spamming social media with multiple handles.

Deranged.

Really competitive tournament this.

“10 Years Baur Au Lac — World Football Is More Poorly Governed than Before! Smash FIFA!”

Pretty good banner.

Greenland is currently controlled by Denmark, which has a King.

People have eyes and ears. They experience and witness things

Yes, but it’s a question of trusting the word of people.

If people have demonstrated they are pathologically dishonest, they have to be dismissed immediately.

You’d trust a thief over a liar.

Garlic eaterToday  03:03 pm JST

What utterly freaks me out is the FOUR LITRE plastic bottles of whiskey and shochu that are sold at my local supermarket. And amazingly some people actually buy that (yes they do). This is insane.

Agree on that.

Liters of strong alcohol for US$10 ~ $15!!!

Certainly crazee - and from my long term observations usually middle-aged+ men are the buyers.

Just can't begin to imagine consuming that stuff let alone volumes of it.

Some if the whisky in those huge bottles is awful but some is half decent stuff. I remember seeing Suntory Kaku ( not bad ) bottled like that.

I remember a session with coworkers on cheap shochu. Vicious.

Violence on both the extreme left and right. White supremacists have killed people for their color.

Yep. Religious extremists don’t mind lashing out either.

Extremists are the problem.

The idea that all violence comes from one particular group is extremist nonsense.

Just…silly.

Always violence starts from the left

Are you sure?

I haven’t read half of the books ever written on this, but I think you could be mistaken here.

On the contrary the soldiers participating seemed thrilled to be there with the spectators enjoying it too, judging by the clapping and cheering

Oh yes. You don’t need a big crowd to enjoy yourself.

Trump may not see it that way though.

He’s very concerned with crowd sizes.

This looks like an awful disappointment o terms of turnout.

Looks like there are far people more in individual cities protesting against this.

Not a good look.

Not a good birthday. Should’ve just got a McDonald’s and a Stormy DVD.

If you are going to use taxpayer money on a parade, you’d think it should be one a lot of people would be interested in. If you consider that it comes from an administration which is working hard on cutting waste, that makes it even worse.

The attendance looks extremely disappointing.

Must do better.

Ah well. He can lie about the crowd size again, I suppose.

Maybe the MAGA patriots living in Japan should’ve flown home to attend. They claim to be very comfortably off.

Never mind.

Posted in: Protesters crowd into streets, parks and plazas at anti-Trump 'No Kings' demonstrations across U.S. See in context

In a democracy there are differences of opinion which can be expressed in the form of protest.

If it wasn't a democracy and the head of the country was a tyrant/dictator, there would be no free protests throughout the country. Therefore the title of this protest is hypocritical

There is legitimate criticism that Trump is overstepping the mark as a leader of a democratic country.

That is fair grounds for protest.

Trump and his team used the idea of him being a ‘King’. It could be adolescent trolling of the libs ( not the first time ), or it could be seen as something more sinister.

No harm in reminding him to know his place. Politicians are employees of the people and are bound by laws.

Remind them of this Give them a bollocking when necessary.

In a democracy there are differences of opinion which can be expressed in the form of protest.

For some, protests they don’t like can’t be a sincere expression of opinion - they must be getting paid to do it.

How childish.

You have to admit, the vast majority of this anti-Israel rhetoric on social media comes from teenage girls whose greatest preoccupation is getting their makeup and hair right so they can spout trendy but provocative lies so they can get more “likes”.

Really?

Sounds like the types who spam social media with multiple accounts and even praise their own posts.

Interesting profile.

Why he believes desires such recognition, in a pubic display of entitled self worth

I honestly can’t make sense of this.

What are you trying to say? He has a sense entitlement? He has self-worth?

Isn’t self worth a good thing?

I'm really looking forward to it, it should be quite a spectacle.

Waste of money.

What is disheartening is his need to wollow, desire for a brand of snobbery, that has never ever been associated with a working class back ground

What does ‘desire for a brand of snobbery’ mean?

British honours system rooted a thankfully long gone empire unfit for purpose.

I'm fairly sure the majority of people in the UK still support it.

However, fan protests have become a common sight at Premier League stadiums over rising ticket prices and the squeezing out of local supporters to make way for more tourists willing to spend more for a special matchday experience.

I suppose many tourists are prepared to pay through the nose and drop a few hundred quid in the club shops.

My sister managed to get tickets for Anfield a few times this season at ridiculous cost and said the atmosphere isn’t a patch on the past. I’ve heard similar from supporters of other top clubs.

Keep members of the local tribe out and this is not surprising.

Will eventually make the whole ‘experience’ less attractive to tourists

I'd rather hear "Good Vibrations" than anything by the Beatles.

What's with all this comparison going on?

I'd rather live in a world where I can listen to the Beach Boys AND the Beatles. Because both of them give me good vibrations.

RIP Brian Wilson.

Spot on.

Reminds me of when Charlie Watts died and some ‘Who know music’ ( they like the old Fleetwood Mac ) were telling us how limited he was.

Schoolchild stuff.
