2 things: The Dodgers instantly gained basically 120 million new fans with the 3rd largest GDP in the world. Great investment. & I'd rather see the players get the $$$ than the billionaire owners.

This is why they are not being culled. Something has to be done though.
It may seem like the crow has a negative association, that could not be further from the truth. Japanese culture places a great emphasis on these birds and they believe that they symbolize gratitude, guidance, divineness and good luck.
Yatagarasu (八咫烏) is a mythical crow and a guiding god in Shinto mythology. During Emperor Jimmu's Eastern Expedition, he was guided from the Kumano Region to Yamato Province by Yatagarasu, who was sent by Takamimusubi.

As their plan is to charge a high entrance fee for Japanese, their obvious goal is overseas gamblers coming in. Gamblers do spend lots of money, but I wouldn't think they'd be the best type of tourists you'd like in your country.

J Gov always complaining, rightly so, about these missile tests & so freezes certain funds. But, if I'm not mistaken, the bulk of the Pachinko profits, which are mainly owned by the North Koreans, goes to NK. Can't understand why they don't put a stop to that. Profits in the billions from pachinko.
