A few years ago . . . my wife, son, and I attempted skiing lessons in NV, and rented a Toyota RAV1 . . . spacious with good ergonomics, handled well, etc even in the snowy conditions . . . . We now drive a different make, but appreciated the experience . . . .

. . . a common person may wonder, "What is the quality of the steel, U S now produces?" and/ or "Is steel U S produces safe compared with Japan steel?" . . . .

If US wants to be competitive with the rest of the world, people need to see what their intellect is about . . . . movies are an important means of intellectual expression . . . .

I wonder about how free the press is in the U. S. . . . In Japan when even something small happens, e. g. a traffic accident where someone is inured or train delays are commonly published in the Japan Today; also, crimes where monetary theft ((1 million yen ~$6500 USD) has occurred are published in the Japan news . . . . whereas in the U. S., I do not believe such news would be published (but be considered as only minor news) . . . .

To help prevent accidents . . . once an accident or slow traffic occurs, drivers nearby should turn on their vehicle's emergency flashing lights . . . thereby alerting other vehicles of a traffic situation . . . .

. . . . what about tourism? For American tourists visiting Japan a stronger yen means tourists get less for their American dollar . . . . Both countries benefit from tourism - US from airlines, and other travel related services, and Japan directly from tourism . . . .

It's important to stay together in a line when there are many cars to deal with . . . .

The new sandwich appears to be a food high in cholesterol. In ancient times samurai were often looked upon favorably, (e.g. movie, "Seven Samurai") and adhered to a code of conduct (Nitobe Inazo) . . . their history appears to have influenced today's Japan in a more benevolent way more than just "warrior" . . . . Let's not harm their decedents' health . . . .

Has Japan considered building future water containment reservoirs to hold fresh water to fight fires . . . also although dangerous to living creatures, the use of some fire fighting chemicals like carbon dioxide, deprive fire of oxygen, thereby extinguishing fires . . . .

While people are considering the risks of nuclear power accidents, perhaps the govt should be looking into environmentally safer methods of producing energy: solar farms, wind farms, etc. ?

Does US have oil to export . . . according to some, not as much as it may have had some years ago . . . ?

US is a net importer of oil . . . .

. . . this past summer 2024, we were in Tokyo, and I noticed the strong smell of air pollution, probably due to automobile exhaust . . . . is Japan using "unleaded" gas for their public? If not, they need to catchup with countries like US where unleaded gas is the norm . . . .

Please do not expand nuclear program, as nukes only hurt the environment, living things of all countries . . . . Hopefully, countries in the region, i.e. Japan, S. Korea, N. Korea, US, can work on better international relations . . . .

What ever the outcome of the IPO . . . I am sure the North Americans still want continued responsible management . . . .
